(More customer reviews)My 12 yo was very disappointed in this product.Based on the photo shown he expected it to be at least twice as wide as it really is.There is actually only about 3 inches of "slide" on either side of the inflatable not the foot or so that you expect from the photo. He and his friends could not slide the entire length without slipping off onto the grass which of course immediately stops them in their tracks.Only use twice before they gave up on it!

Deluxe Rummikub in a Case Large Edition Review

(More customer reviews)This is a review of the hardware, not the gameplay (which is great BTW). I initially bought the Attache version but the blue and black colors were too similar and hurt the experience. So I decided to give this set a try.

CASE: 3 stars. Looks nice and clean when stored away and better than a cardboard box IMO. It can stand on its side or lie flat. The leatherette is pretty cheap and not that durable (there was already a tiny corner torn off when I got it), but it's fine for game storage purposes and light portability. The handle and latches work fine. The case is unadorned with any markings - it would have been nice if "Rummikub" was printed on it somewhere to make it identifiable.The inside of the case is empty with no straps or holders. A bag would have been helpful to hold all the tiles so they aren't bouncing around in the case. The Attache version has a nice bag to hold the tiles and straps to hold down the racks. In addition, the Attache size is smaller, has a Rummikub logo stitched on the front, and is a soft case. Whether you like the Attache or Deluxe case is more a matter of personal preference than any significant difference in quality or practicality. I think the Deluxe case looks nicer on the shelf but the Attache case is a bit better for traveling.

TILES: 5 stars. Large numbers with easily identifiable colors on a pure white background. The Attache version uses a dark blue that is hard to distinguish from black. Not a problem with the Deluxe as the blue is very light and the green/red are easy to see also. The Attache numbers are smaller and the background has an unattractive yellowish hue.

RACKS: 1 star. First of all, the racks are too big and awkward. Secondly, they require you to insert 2 flimsy, skinny feet every time you play because you can't store the racks with the feet attached. The feet are very difficult to attach - they feel like they will snap in half when you try to attach them - so this becomes an obstacle to getting a game started. During play, the feet are unstable so you have to hold the rack when you arrange your tiles. Overall, the racks are a disaster. The Attache version has far superior racks because they lie flat on the table, easily stack and store away, and have 3 rows (as opposed to the Deluxe's 2) which allow you to organize your tiles better.

OVERALL: It's hard to recommend this set given how poor the racks are. If I were to buy a single set, I'd probably get the non-deluxe Rummikub Large Number Edition which appears to have the superior flat racks. Since I now own both the Attache and this Deluxe version, I have combined the best parts of both sets which works out great. I use the Deluxe tiles, Attache tile bag, Attache racks, and store it all in the Deluxe case.

(More customer reviews)My son is all about stickers and trying to restick the stickers he already used, so I thought colorforms would be a good idea.I played with colorforms as a child and those things stuck to the board no problem for a long time.The new colorforms are horrible; you would be lucky if they would stick to the board for more than 2 seconds.Very disappointing.And it was not like it was this specific package, I bought two other character colorform packs and ran into the same issue.I would pass if you are considering purchasing this product.

Also, can't go wrong with good solid marine plywood. In the end, its a motor mount and it does what it is designed to do for the intex boats. Holds that little Minn Kota Endura 30 really good. The mount can accept a 3.5hp but on the Excursion boats you can only put up to a 1.5hp or up to 18 lbs motor weight. If you want to go to a 3.5 you will need to get a Sea Hawk II or Mariner boat.

Phantom Force Chess Review

(More customer reviews)I received this chess game as a gift and have played about 15 games on it to date. It is enjoyable to watch the pieces move by themselves.

For playing a casual game, it is very challenging. There are many different levels to choose from (about 100 in total). I am by no means an advanced player (I can't think 7 moves ahead) but I am more advanced than the average beginner (my rating average on various websites is roughly 1800). That being said, I find the lower levels to be rather easy, but on the harder levels I get beaten soundly. Therefore, I would say the game overall is quite challenging. The computer also appears to strategically place its pieces on open ranks and files, rather than just attacking material (which many chess computers often do). For example, I recently offered a rook to the computer because I was about to put the computer into mate in 3 moves and the computer passed on the rook and instead defended against the threat.

The only downside is the game is loud and pieces take a few seconds to move. If you're a "good" player, it's defintely very challenging. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the higher levels beat "advanced" players with ease.

This keychain is for "Twilight" fans and the pieces symbolize the images displayed in the "Twilight" movie and book franchise. Overall, this is not a very sturdy keychain (so it should not be placed on a backpack, for instance, because a piece would break off easily). The little pieces are only colored beautifully on one side and are hollow on the opposite side. For the price, you get what you pay for though. One surprising thing to note, however, is that the image does not display how large the item is which is even better for advertising your love of this book/movie! I am absolutely in love with the series and cannot wait for the movie to come out, and this keychain makes the perfect gift for any "Twilight" fan.

**Note: This is not to be used as a toy and should be given to children (teens/adults)only under the assumption that they will NOT put the keychain in their mouth as the little pieces could break off (and choked on).

Evening of Murder Last Call Game Review

(More customer reviews)This was the first time I'd played a Max Haines murder mystery game and it was a bit disappointing. I've played quite a few of the "How to Host a Murder Mystery" series and was used to the full-color character booklets, map of the crime scene, etc, so the b&w photocopy printouts of the character booklets and place cards in this game was a little disappointing. I could overlook it if the mystery turned out to be a good one but again, I was underwhelmed. Instead of having 2-3 things to Reveal and Conceal each round, Last Call only had one per round and they were very obviously written to be said in a certain order, so it took a lot of the fun and spontanaity out of the game for us. The worst thing is, because the murderer was allowed to lie about his whereabouts, etc, it was really hard to pin down whodunit (initially, the fact that the murderer already knew sounded interesting to me, but it doesn't really work). The mystery overall had a few odd and illogical plot holes in it too. Which is really disappointing because I'd heard this series was pretty good. Oh well, guess I'll stick to "How to Host a Murder Mystery" from now on...

(More customer reviews)My kids have a lot of Lights, Camera, Interaction puzzles and I thought this puzzle case would be a great way to organize them.Unfortunately, I found that it is sized to fit the smaller puzzles only (the toddler peg boards, for example).The majority of my kids' puzzles are the larger ones (Pets, Trains, Endangered Species, Dinosaurs, Dogs, Construction) and the largest ones (alphabet, state maps).The larger puzzles fit only if you put them in sideways, and then half the puzzle sticks out in front of the case.
I would recommend this case only if you intend to use it for the smaller puzzles.
