Swimbait Largemouth [affmage source="ebay" results="30"]Swimbait Largemouth[/affmage] Swimbait Largemouth What can I use as a preservative to make......................................................................?

...a rainbow trout paste. I'm going to use a limit of 5 trout, between 10" and 12" long. I'm going to cut them into pieces (head, scales, fins, tail, bones, guts and all) and put them in the blender one trout at a time. I want to use this mixture as a rub to smear on big trout looking swimbait lures for largemouth bass. After it's done, I'm going to put the mess in small yogurt containers and keep it refrigerated, unless it doesn't amount to too much, then in that case I'll keep in one big peanut butter container. What all can I use to preserve the stuff so none of it goes bad? Also, what can I do to turn it into a sticky paste so it sticks to my lures while they're in the water and not come off? Can I add mollasses to it? Anything? Thank you. Please, please be specific with ingrediants.

The preservative you need to use to keep the product from going bad is known as MSG- ( mono-sodium glutamate) It is available in nearly all grocery stores- the larger chain stores in a small bottle in a granular form. It will be located with the spices, salt and pepper section. Getting it to stick to your lures may be the bigger problem. Perhaps you could keep the mixture in a plastic container, and as you fished after 3 or 4 retrieves wipe your lure into the mixture to keep the smell strong enough. Sounds like a great idea.
