It comes with a steel base and a flat steel platform that supports itself well, even in the off the road dirt or a gravel drive way (it's not the one shown in the picture at the time of this posting - the picture shows legs and not the flat base).It's sturdy, lifts steady with more than enough height if you need it. I am very pleased with its construction and performance. I highly recommend it. It worked so well I bought a second one. Also, the jack was delivered quickly. I am very satisfied with The Sportsman's Guide (they respond quickly to e-mails - I wanted to make sure I didn't get the one with the plastic base, legs, and feet) and Buffalo Tools (all quality - no plastic base, legs, or feet).

I had bought an electric jack from Jacks Tool Shed, gray with skinny legs and brass looking feet. When Jacks jack was used on dirt (like when you need to change a tire off to the side of the road side in the dirt or get stuck on the side of the road) as the body of the jack started to grip the dirt, the back legs broke off (plastic legs) and the base of the jack split in half diagonally through the back rivets (plastic base).They advertized it as all steel construction.I had used the jack in the garage on a concrete floor and it worked well.However when I used it out in the real world in an emergency (13 months after I bought it) and the rear legs broke off and the base split, and the car swung over. I informed Jacks Tool Shed of the incident, and asked for a refund: Jacks Tool Shed told me to take a hike and provided it to me in an e-mail - not too bright.

However Amazon stepped right in and provided me with a full refund and Jacks Tool Shed provided Amazon a full refund. I don't know if my second e-mail to Jacks Tool Shed had anything to do with it, I sent Jacks response plus a copy of their advertisement to my wife's side of the family (3 Attorneys, an Assistant DA, plus a Judge just for starters) - their response wasn't pretty.

Like the British say about the American Government; that after all possibilities have been exhausted, the right decision is made.

(More customer reviews)I have this sub mounted in a custom wood enclosure of .48 cu ft and it sounds incredible!I didn't think it would hit very hard or sound extremely good because of the shallow depth design and the fact that I'm only pushing 200W rms to it but it has proven me wrong.Pioneer recommends .60 cu ft, but the sub can be installed in a box with volumes between .35 to .70 cu ft with only a 3.5" mounting depth.It comes with a ring cutout as well as measurements for a sealed, ported and bandpass box.The price at Amazon is almost half of what you will find anywhere else.

(More customer reviews)Buyers should consider the purchase of this product for the enclosure and an included free sub. The enclosure is great! Very hard, very heavy, high quality. You can actually get some good thumps with it being a shallow case! The subwoofer is OK. You aren't gonna shake the cars next to you with this thing, but hopefully people realize this considering the size (10"). It is very good for your standard volumes. I still have it in and am very happy with it. You can always replace the subwoofer later with a higher quality if you want (it IS user replaceable).
It says it requires you to cut a hole in the back panel that is on top of it, but I did not as I want to leave the car in as "stock" fashion as possible. This causes some vibrations from the back panel, but I put a small line of foam in between and it is fine now. Cannot even tell the sub is there without the car on. I put it in a 2006 Scion xB and it fits, but I cut a line of foam from the "Spare Tire" side to make it fit better. Only about half an inch which is just extras anyways.

(More customer reviews)This stuff definitely works.It will not magically remove brake dust however.You still need to scrub with a brush, and have to be extremely careful not to get this acid on any unprotected part of your body, or painted car surfaces.Pretty serious acid burns appear shortly after exposure.Do not under any circumstances use this on clear-coated finishes; if not removed promptly, this may eat through the finish and ruin it.

Personally, I resolved the brake dust issue by replacing my brake pads with ceramics.The dust is of very light color, and frequency of wheel cleaning is reduced drastically that way.It also cleans off way quicker just with soap, water and wheel brush.Overall, I don't even use Blue Coral or any other spray-on cleaner anymore - just grab your brush and a bucket of soap water and scrub (you won't get away from scrubbing anyway).

Oh, one great application for this - stove top and kitchen counter cleaner.Just use thick kitchen gloves and enjoy squeaky clean degreasing action.

(More customer reviews)I needed a front wheel stand for winter storage and maintenance and this one looked like a good value for the price with double-wheels and rubber fingers for lifting the fork.

The good news is it's well built, easy to lift, adjustable and the rubber fingers grab the fork on my 2008 CBR600RR perfectly.

The bad news is that it doesn't actually lift the wheel off the ground. Yup, I thought I was crazy, but the "throw" on the arm is so little that it momentarily comes just off the ground but then swings back down as the handle touches the floor. It is lifted enough to relieve some of the pressure off the tire, but not enough for the wheel to spin.

Since I use it for winter storage and wanted the stand off the ground anyway (to avoid any pooling water in my garage during the winter from snow melt) my work-around was to place both sets of stand wheels under two lengths of 2x4, which lifts the front wheel almost 2 inches.

I don't know if my (stock) bike is an exception but I wouldn't think so; if the limitation described above is okay with you then its a good value for a well built stand, otherwise keep looking.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for use with my enclosed trailer and my Yamaha 250 dirt bike.When shopping for wheel chocks I found this listed from one manufacturer but multiple sources (eBay, Amazon etc).

The one thing that wasn't obvious is the fact that this chock is designed with a pivot mechanism that actually locks the tire.You roll the bike in, wrap the bar over the top of the tire, and then push back down on a lever.In the picture it shows all parts draped over the top of the tire, but the person taking the picture didn't set it up properly.

The positive clamping action really works well, though you have to play with it a bit to get the right amount of tension.I now use no straps on the front of the bike at all, rather this chock on the front and a strap on each side at the back.The bike holds rock steady with this arrangement.

(More customer reviews)I've has two sets of these.I bought a setafter two of the covers that came with the car fell off because of weak retaining springs.Oddly, even though these held on better they were also far easier to take off and put on, which was very nice as I rotate my tires myself every five thousand miles.I replaced the first set of these after my car was brushed by another car and one cover was damaged.The set of four cost less than one replacement original would have.And finally, I like the appearance better than what came on the car.
