(More customer reviews)I'm amazed at how lovely this new product from Ghirardelli Chocolate is and how well it melts, even in the microwave; just be careful to watch and not let it burn because it continues melting even after the heat source is stopped.I had seen it online for $7 a bag, so was thrilled to see Amazon offer it for a great price and since I share my goodies, this is a no-brainer.For the past couple months, I've been immersed in baking, particularly chocolate goods, and I've been surprised at the easy flourless chocolate cake recipes I've discovered.My friends all agree that the last one I baked using this chocolate ranks among the best of late.I've also baked wonderful chocolate 3 layer bar cookies after substituting the home dried cherries and finely chopped pecans for the recipe's raisins and walnuts.Just had one with a cup of tea and the chocolate radiates and enhances the cherry flavor.I prefer using unsweetened chocolate in baking because I can add my own organic sugar instead of the refined sugar usually used in sweetened chocolate, even bittersweet.I'm now thinking of preparing a batch of chocolate ice cream with this.Great stuff.

(More customer reviews)If I am famished from hunger, and a real meal is many hours off, I don't feel bad about eating one of these glorified candy bars as a mini-meal.It is filling and satisfying, and if you put chocolate and peanut butter on a shoe, I'd probably like it.The chocolate coating is formulated for durability and it does that job well, although there is a price to be paid in taste.The filling, however, is the best part.Peanutty and chewy, the grains, chocolate and peanut butter combine brilliantly leaving me wanting another one or three.

The problem with bars like this is that they are neither plain candy bars nor real nutrition, and they have to balance the great taste of candy with the fact that they actually have to have some nutritional value to compensate for the huge premium the makers charge for this bar over a plain old candy bar.Kashi does this better than most of the competition, and their bar is a bit larger and sturdier than most, which makes it the first choice for my gym bag or purse for an emergency meal.

Try not to let these slip from "emergency food" to "substitute for lunch" or "regular snack."These bars, although healthier than candy, are not a real meal, do not have the fiber and nutrients to hold you over tothe next real meal, and are a lot more candy bar than piece of fruit.These are good to keep in a bag for a day when you have no alternatives, but if you find that there are too many emergencies to be good for your health or your waistline, try putting an apple in that purse instead.

(More customer reviews)I bought 2 dozen of these monkey lollipops as party favors for my daughter's 2nd birthday party.I was happy they arrived within 2 days of ordering.They are as cute as the photos depicted and they arrived well packaged.Each dozen is packed in a box that has the nutritional info on the box, but I was disappointed to see a label on the back of each lollipop to have in huge font "Made in China".For nutritional info, call this #. This label took away from the cuteness of these lollipops.I had intentions of giving one to my 2 year old, but after seeing this label, it makes me think twice whether I should.Everything now is made in China, and when it comes to children's products, China = RECALL.I wished the website posted where the lollipops were made because I assumed USA, had I known they were from China, I would not have bought these lollipops.I will just use them as decorations.Using something that's made in China is one thing, but eating something from China requires caution!

(More customer reviews)These crackers are quite good, as other have noted they are thicker and have a more crumbly texture than the traditional Carr's crackers. If you have ever had a British digestive cracker, these are quite similar. Both slightly sweet, thick, whole grains, crumbly.

When I bought these I was expecting the traditional thing flaky Carr's cracker. If you plan to serve these at a party, make sure to consider what you are serving them with. You may have to adjust the cheese/spreads/etc that you plan to accompany the cracker given its different taste, texture and structure.

(More customer reviews)I felt the need to do this review when I noticed Amazon doesn't tell you this is SUGAR FREE candy. I actually bought a bag of this candy while leaving Japan at the airport in Nagoya. I saw them and thought, 'omg those look delicious green tea/green tea latter candy, yes please!' I was so happy to see maccha (green tea) that I wasn't much paying attention. So of course, when I put the first piece in my mouth, I immediately thought, 'okay, this tastes really gross, what in the world...?' I then noticed that not only was it green tea candy, it said 'non-shugaa' (non-sugar) at the top. I took off a star because I personally found them very gross buuuut I'd imagine if you're used to/enjoy sugar free candies, they'd probably be quite good. I was just disheartened that I would not be enjoying happy green tea candy on my ridiculously long return flight.

So yes, important point: THIS CANDY IS SUGAR FREE!
