Toshiba today announced its first consumer-oriented netbook in the U.S., Toshiba NB205 mini. Like many compact, lightweight PC companion already on the market, NB205 mini makes it easy to stay connected and productive while traveling. Whose construction has almost full-size keyboard and touchpad, promises nine hours of battery life and is offered in various colors.

Toshiba NB205 mini has a 10.1-inch widescreen LED display, full QWERTY keyboard, raised, shallow and laptop touchpad, which has the potential of writing and Web browsing easier and more comfortable than other netbooks. NB205 mini comes with Windows XP, hard drive of a sensor that guards the impact of the everyday life of mobile bumps and a USB port with Sleep-and-Charge, which allows users to download various portable electronics(iPods, phones, etc..) even when the device is disabled.
Toshiba NB205 mini also offers a standard one-year international limited warranty, giving customers access to Toshiba over 271 service providers worldwide.


There are two configurations for Toshiba NB205 mini-series.
NB205 mini-N310 has a textured metal finish, chrome hinges and will be available for selection in four colors Sable Brown, Frost White, Indigo Blue and Pink Posh.
NB205 mini-N21 0 is in the Fusion Finish Black Onyx cover and a flat keypad with a black matte finish.
NB205 mini is also energy efficient and meets the stringent requirements of the upcoming EnergyStar 5.0 standard, is compatible with the RoHS and reached the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool(EPEAT) gold status.

Toshiba NB205 mini-N310($399.00) and mini-N210 NB205($349.00) will be available on 23 June 2009 at major retailers, e-tailers and directly from Toshiba www.toshibadirect.com . In addition, a mini-NB205 N210 can be purchased through select Toshiba Preferred Partner Program vendor.

What kind of things can I do on the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA netbook computer?

I want to get one in a few months but, there is a potential deal breaker. I want one to surf the net, and what I do on the net mostly, is play games on myspace, facebook, and freearcade, as well as watch netflix movies and shows. Would I be able to do those things with one of these netbooks? Also, would I be able to download stuff on it, like Maple Story?

Answer
Everything you wanna do as far as online games, facebook etc...will be fine. Since they don't have a cd-rom drive, any software you want to having on there will have to be loaded via a usb drive using an ISO image of the cd. You then have to get a disk mounter program (free online) and mount the ISO and install it that way. It's a pain at first but once you get the hang of it, it's not a big deal.
