My daughter was close to celebrating her birthday, and I was at a loss as to what present to get her. Knowing her, I figured she wouldn't like dolls as much, thinking she's too old for them, but I knew no other presents she'd like. My wife had no ideas so I had to find something good on my own, and take responsibility in case it was a failure. I entered all the shops I could find, one by one, from toy stores, to electronics stores. My finances were not great either, but I wanted a nice present for her. Just when I though everything was hopeless, and was going to buy a dollhouse, I saw something interesting, that wasn't too expensive either. The salesman explained everything I needed to know about the sansa shaker 1gb mp3 player and I bought it, hoping she would like it. Along the way, I started looking at it, and wondering if it actually works. I decided to try it out, to see if it wasn't defective, of course. I had so much fun with it that I went back and bought another one, but this time, for myself. After making it home in time to catch the birthday party, I wrapped the player nicely and handed it to her. She was very excited and I could see she liked it a lot. I showed her how to use it, and how to upload songs on to it, and she never let go of it after wards. Not even when I asked her if I could borrow it for a while. My wife called me crazy when she heard I'd bough another player, for myself. I ignored her and have since realized that it has been one of my best decisions. I'm even using it at work, to listen to my favorite music, whenever I have the time.
