They say the bones of the creature has lizard-like characteristics but its teeth do not contain any roots like humans, it has some similar joints like humans, and it would be able to stay under water for an extended time.

The creature’s eyes, ears and cranium were said to be larger than that of other upright earth animals and it was covered in a thin coating of skin. The back section of the creature’s brain especially was big and therefore researchers concluded that it was very clever. However, by the time the corpse of the animal was handed over to scientists they said it had decayed too much to generate any coherent DNA results.

To further add to the mystery connected to the extraterrestrial infant, Lopez was later discovered burnt to death in a parked vehicle on the side of the road. It is said that the fire was a far higher temperature than that of regular fires and it is thought that the parents of the alien infant are the ones accountable for Lopez’ killing as reprisal because he killed the creature.

It is stated that there are numerous UFO sightings and crop circles in the vicinity where the alien baby was found and that there was a another creature there when Lopez discovered the creature but that the second alien ran away. But the question is, what is the truth of the nature of these phenomenon? If someone can answer this, then they’d have the “Holy Grail” of the paranormal in their hands.

The scientific skeptics propose using critical reasoning to the claims. That is, investigating them from a purely rational method. The believers say you have to go beyond the current ability of mankind in order to arrive at any truth about the matters at hand. The skeptics say Occam’s Razor is best for investigating all paranormal claims since so many turn out to either misunderstandings, misinterpretation of natural events, or down right hoaxes. And while there are some on the believing side that share the use of Occam’s Razor, most are willing to “jump” on board if there seems to be the slightest hint of possibility that their beliefs will be confirmed by an event. Is there (or maybe a better way of phrasing would be “Can there be”) a middle ground for both camps? Couldn’t the Ufology community benefit from more scientists gathering data and sharing it in a rational manner? Wouldn’t that keep more people that are into the paranormal more grounded? Couldn’t the scientific community benefit from Ufologists pushing them to think “outside the box” more? Wouldn’t that enable them to make more discoveries?

Years ago, esoteric studies had distinct categories: UFO’s, Cryptozoology, Paranormal (i.e. ghosts) and so on. Now those lines are more blurred than they once were. Bigfoot, Nessie, demons, ghosts, UFO’s, alien abductions, etc., are all beginning to come under the umbrella of ‘The Paranormal.’ It’s an effort by some to try and connect the dots and say they’re all related. Whether or not they’re related, it’s a fact that the subject matter is considered pseudoscience by the mainstream. And that doesn’t look like it’s going to change in the near future. The topics don’t find any support even in scientific literature much less in academic “table talk”. But there is strong evidence that more is going on than just anomalies in natural occurring events. The only thing that doesn’t create a controversy is by stating that UFO’s are controversial. Anything past that into the nature and reality of them generally only spurs ridicule and/or heated arguments. So we have a bit of a dilemma. We have thousands of reports each year of the paranormal which we could include as UFO’s, strange creatures, and invisible entities or psychic occurrences. These reports come from people from all walks of life and the whole range, it would seem, of demographics. But, we don’t have one scrap of evidence that would hold up in any court. Thus is the paradox of the paranormal. So we keep looking and keep investigating, but never do we find the actual “smoking gun”. At the end of the day we’re left with a question. The question. Do we believe, or do we not believe?

In 2006, Pluto was “demoted” from the status of planet to a mere dwarf planet since astronomers began discovering other objects in space to have more mass and volume. Many questioned whether Pluto deserved to even be considered a planet and eventually they concurred that it didn’t meet the requirements of a planet in our Solar System.

In the 1970′s astronomers observed many dwarf planets like Pluto beyond the planet Neptune (called “trans-Neptunian objects) and began to speculate whether these could be the 10th planet. What they didn’t know was that an ancient culture beat them to it.

The ancient culture of the Sumerians, who lived in today’s Iraq, recorded astronomical facts that would astound scientists today. Ancient astronomer and writer Zecharia Sitchin posited in his book, The 12th Planet, that the Sumerians determined that a major planet passes by our Earth every 3,600 years which allows its inhabitants to interact with human beings. Sitchin theorized that the last time Planet X came close to Earth was in 556 BC, which means the next coming will be in 2900AD. Unless technology finds a way to let us live hundreds of years longer, none of us will live to see that day.

There is however another theory surrounding Planet X. Some say that a planet called Nibiru will collide with our planet next year. According to Richard Muller, a physicist, mass extinctions like the dinosaurs being wiped out could happen again because of a dwarf planet orbiting the Sun every 26 million years or so. It’s hard to predict when this could happen but it seems likely that each of these theories can be combined to make a legitimate hypothesis.

Will 2012 bring major disaster to the world in the form of a mysterious planet? What kind of signs will manifest if such an even were to happen? In recent months our planet has been besieged by one natural disaster after another.
