Which do you like better, the Shimano Citica E or the Abu Garcia Revo S?
Would like someone that has used both but if you're just giving an answer based on the features of both reels, or from a friend/family experience, well that will be fine too.
Both are great reels and are "equal" in many ways. (Although I don't "own" these reels I've had the opportunity to fish with both because my Bass Club buddy's own them. I did own the older Citica but after 8 years of hard fishing it finally went kaput.) The main difference between the two is the drag and drag pressure. You can really "hoss" a Bass out of cover with the Revo's 14LBs of drag. The Citica has roughly 10LBs. Obviously, the Revo would be a better choice for Jig/Worm fishing and the Citica would be better for Crankin', Spinnerbait's, and Topwaters. Anywho- On a personal level I'm voting for the Revo. The one I fished with was SUPER smooth , (compared to the Citica). And the drag was awesome......... So, 1 vote for the Revo. Cheers!
