pIs there anyone who has been able to join the army with fibro or osteo arthritis I have the arthritis in my entire spine and neck but it is mild Im a 19 year old female and I dont give up on what I want in life. I made the decision a few months ago to definitely join the Army MP 31b. My recruiter wasnt familiar with fibromyalgia had no effin clue what it was and therefore wasnt able to give me an answer. I was diagnosed a few months after a girl ran a red light and totalled my car it came crushing down on me I was on a ton of dif. meds for a while including fentanyl, In the past few months I have been able to get off all my meds I run for an hour a day, do pushups, situps, weights etc. I have improved ALOT. Im also receiving cortisone injections in my neck and back for the next few months hurt like hell lol. On the other hand I know that basic is tough on everyone and I would really like to know if anyone out there has been through what Im going through and been succesful in the army. typ
