He may just be grabbing every acting gig he could find because his personal life is not really doing good.

Last summer, we saw him take supporting roles to lesser known actors in the blockbuster hits “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and “Kick-Ass”, with the former having him display his wide acting range and the latter being a fun character that while the movie was not as successful as the former, it still was profitable. This 2011 he is going to star two highly anticipated movies that both his fans and critics seem to be excited about as well as the sequel to his superhero movie, “Ghost Rider”. When people online heard the Mr. Cage was going to star in an over the top period fantasy piece, they were very excited and expected that the movie is going to be awesome and epic which was proven true when they saw the trailer as soon as it was released. In the movie, a 14th Century Crusader journeys back to his homeland only to discover the wrath and devastation caused by the Black Plague. Supecting sorcery and witchcraft at work, the Catholic church orders the soldier to escort a witch to a remote abbey where rituals are to be performed in the hopes that the plague will be abated.

Throughout the course of their travels towards the abbey, they are joined by a boy who wants to be a knight, a priest and a disgraced nomad and they also fend off attacks from a lot of  people who want to kill the witch that they are transporting. As soon as they arrive at the abbey, they face up with a  powerful supernatural entity that makes the knights think about breaking their oath to keep their captive witch from harm.  The premise of the movie is so epic that can’t help but count the days until I am able to watch Season of the Witch online free!
