@rhettandlink - the Internetainers - celebrate their 100th Episode of their webshow Good Mythical Morning.
And yes, Autisable sponsored their show!
How's that for awesomeness!
Here's the show:

(like and subscribe as well)
I've been fans of @rhettandlink since their early days on youtube. Since then they have been on several TV shows, and even had their own show on IFC called Commercial Kings!
Very cool!
(now to get my second cup of coffee and to get ready to enjoy the rest of Memorial Day)
Ok, so I have been holding off doing a rant for a long
time. Call this Fried Moment #whatever....
I've been watching how Facebook ads work for the past couple of years, and how they don't work. The same holds true for using facebook fan pages.
Here's the deal, facebook is about connecting people and exchanging of information. If you want to 'sell' something on the site (or a fan page) then you really need to know what the pros and cons are right from the start.
As we know, Facebook went all IPO on us - in short, they went from a private company to a publicly traded company.
Prior to the 'date' of the IPO launch, GM [General Motors] announced that they don't see good returns on buying ads on facebook.
For some, that was enough to say 'well, if GM doesn't see its validity - why should I invest in something not proven' and backed out.
Ok, here's my thought about how GM uses facebook....More Here...
Nothing new on that note, right?
After all, that's what I named this blog a long time ago.
It's some place to vent, to connect, and to obtain some level of feedback.
Why do you blog? Why did you choose Xanga (or any of its network sites)?
I decided to take a short break from the realm of autism - and lo and behold, a series of posts, pulses and other stuff about a controversy regarding infighting within the Xanga community.
Of course I've been living in the land of Autism for some time, so I haven't but a small cursory view of this supposed feud that I have no clue about....
I know that there's always a level of drama on Xanga. In fact, I expect it. After all there are thousands of people with die hard opinions sharing their thoughts to the world - so there's bound to be some level of controversy stirred up one way or another.
Usually, I ignore the drama - or in some cases I grab my tub of popcorn and glass of sweet tea and scroll through the laughter....
So tell me, what is the feud I keep reading about in Xangaland.... Malaysians vs. other United States Xangans?
Was it just some people being trolls? or is there something more insidious that is involved?
Please keep it civil. If it gets too out of hand this post will be turned private and/or comments may be deleted.

My full time job is logistics. I deal with inventory management and Analysis on a regular basis.
This includes a lot of problem solving to find out where those big challenges reside and how to overcome them.
Most of the time I find that a big 'problem' or challenge presents itself because of a series of smaller events that occurred.
Let's take a Wheel Chock (as pictured above). This small dollarsignr9 item can keep a Semi from moving forward...unless of course the driver slams on the gas pedal.... but that risks damaging the trailer/truck or the cargo.
But it's this little item that's placed under the wheels that keep the trailer from moving.
Sometimes that's all it takes with certain things - only one thing holding up the flow of progress.
How many times have you been stuck in traffic because someone had a flat tire and blocked a lane? How'd he get that flat? Most likely a small nail or screw.
How many times have you walked into a room at night, only to find out the light bulb burned out? Again, a small part - probably valued at less than a couple of bucks.
Now....
Think about that one thing in your life that if you had that - all the rest of what you needed would fall in place.
This is that one thing that has been holding back that progress that you so desperately need.
Now, what is that one thing?
Ok, here's the scoop.
I need 10 businesses.
Here's the criteria:
- Must have a webpage to promote.
- Must NOT currently have a google adwords account
- Must want to promote their site.
Yep, that's it.
I want to set up 10 businesses (people) with google adwords - and GIVE dollarsignr100 as an initial investment to start.
(to clarify, Google has given me 10 dollarsignr100 vouchers to help kickstart advertising on Google adwords.)
NO OBLIGATION!
I will help whomever get started, and get a campaign going.
Interested? Leave a comment, send me a message.
*Disclosure - Google has given me these vouchers to help people get started using google adwords. My personal incentive is that if I get 10 people to sign up and use google adwords, I get a chance to win a new laptop.
Ever have one of those nights where you just can't sleep? (me me me me)
Well, here it is - less than an hour to midnight...
Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day (also called) Yom Hashoah. I submit to you a challenge to watch this film (caution graphic).
Now, take a moment and share with us your thoughts about the film.
For those who missed or were unable to listen to the broadcast on a local FM station in Norfolk, VA - here's the story.
I was contacted on Monday to be a part of a Panel of experts on a PBS/NPR radio program called, 'Hearsay with Cathy Lewis'.
First I was a bit shocked, but honored as Cathy Lewis hosts one the top talk radio programs in our region. It reaches out to over 35,000 listeners daily throughout southeastern Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.
Here's a picture of Cathy:
The producers of the show were very kind as well. Let's just say that those who work on the show make it run like a well oiled machine.
It's been about 20 years since I've stepped into a broadcast booth. The last time I did was for a local radio station to learn about broadcasting and I ended up getting my FCC license (don't know if that's still even valid).
I was a bit rusty at first - as you could probably tell I was also a bit nervous. But the second half of the show I found my ground and pushed forward.
There were two Doctors on the show as well, sharing some great information about Autism. Needless to say, I was a bit intimidated at times - but very encouraged as well.
Don't know how well I did, but I would say average. Hey, I'm learning and relearning some things in this area...so I understand there's much for me to practice to get better in this area.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to it. Feel free to share your thoughts - I can take criticism.
I'm compiling a list of people who have had experience in doing graphic art for the web, and also have experience in video editing.
We're working on some projects and will need some help in these areas.
I admit there will be no pay, but your work will be given credit to you, and you will be promoted as well.
Something to build your portfolio and resume. (it's also for a good cause)
Just make a comment and a link where we can see your work.
Looking forward to seeing all the talent.
