Successful completion of a West Bengal government project

Working on the project of Income Tax Department, West Bengal was a great platform for us to reach several numbers of people. This project is all about a web based tracking, document management and alert tool for diverse stages of High Court ITAT case. We have developed this particular tool for the Linux based Web Server with all the latest MySQL and PHP support.

Those who have interest in browsing this tool will find 2 main modules; Frontend and Backend. The Frontend part is primarily for the visitors and it is composed of 5 different dynamic sections. They are

• Latest Supreme Court Judgement information/news
• Latest Tribunal Judgement information/news
• Latest High Court Judgement information/news
• PDF documents/articles about the recent policies/rules
• News

All these segments can be managed dynamically from backend either by the Main Administrator or by the user who has the permission to access.

Whereas Backend is considered to be the main or core module of this particular application or project. There are in fact different types of users, who have the permission to login directly to the machine and accordingly perform the role/actions, which has been assigned by the main Administrator. We have designed the admin with several modified versions like

• SMS/Email template management
• Counsel Management/MOL Officer
• High Court Case Management
• High Court Hearing Management

After the successful completion of this West Bengal government project, we are planning to start with another such project very soon.

Karmick @ Internetworld 2012

It was in fact a great success for us to be a part of Internetworld 2012. This workshop is believed to be Europe’s one of the largest events for digital business. The event was organized in London and we had a great opportunity to meet several business delegates and tycoons. No other marketing platforms could get us a room to meet several potential patrons together. We were placed at ESC, Indian Pavilion at stall number E3030. It was a three day workshop held on April 24 – April 26.

Karmick Solutions Pvt. Ltd invited all their current potential patrons from Europe in the workshop. It was an honor to meet them and have a one to one conversation. There were almost 450 visitors who visited Karmick’s stall. Certainly, it was a good exposure for all those who had attended the workshop. Not only the visitors or the potential clients, but we too had a great opportunity to meet delegates and industrialists from different countries. They visited our stall and shared their thoughts and ideas with us.

This workshop was in fact a platform where number of business decision makers came together for a purpose. Almost 11,000 attendees came under one roof to find the best solution for their business. It was a great opportunity for us to get brand exposure and promote our services amongst the clients. As it is UK’s one of the largest gathering of buyers and suppliers, we were pleased to get such platform where we were able to network with our contemporaries. In fact, it was the best opportunity for us to get introduced to them and demonstrate our new services or products in order to reach more potential clients.

Following the golden success in the most recent years, Karmick Solutions Pvt. Ltd is glad to announce its eventful participation in INDIASOFT 2012. The exhibition is all about the IT services and products where potential clients and customers come from all over the world. Every year, business tycoons and professionals gather here with an objective to make business deals.

Truly, it is a good exposure for every visitor participating in this eventful exhibition. Meeting entrepreneurs and tycoons of various countries, sharing thoughts and information of their new services and products is truly a great way to get an exposure. This year, almost 30 delegates from African countries, 30 from Latin American countries and around 25 from Middle East has participated in the event. This list includes Karmick Solutions Pvt. Ltd as well. Participating in this grand exhibition was indeed a treat for every visitor.

It was a closed door trade and business networking event, where 150 Indian IT companies and 400 IT Global buyers actively took part. Karmick being one of those Indian IT companies too actively participated in this event. Our respectable company honchos were present at Stall No. 126. Each of the stalls in this exhibition was overcrowded with visitors from different countries. Karmick had around 150 potential visitors at their stall. This exhibition actually offered plethora of opportunities to all the IT buyers who were seeking perfect T solutions.

Karmick Solutions Pvt. Ltd launched their brand new products in this twelfth futuristic edition of INDIASOFT exhibition. Meeting several delegates and talking about their new products helped them gain exposure in the field of Information Technology. ‘Karmickans’ at their ‘Best’

‘Creating a unique identity’ amidst the crowd is what Karmick Solutions Private Limited believes in. Be it office work or cultural events, we the employees of Karmick are always geared up to hit the floor. It was our 12th annual function where we celebrated Karmick’s foundation day. We love challenges so our main concern was to make the entire event a successful one without compromising our office works. The event was graciously hosted by two of our very own friends who did their best to captivate the crowd.

Planning an annual program by involving each and every employee is never that easy as it looks. It needs hard work, perseverance and, team support and this is what we did, I mean the Karmick organizing committee enthusiasts. Really, great to find such active members in our organizations! We call this team of ours, ‘Karmickans’. Well, this credit goes to none other than our CEO, Mr. Sourav Roy. He was the one to select team members to make the entire event a successful one.

A special THANX to Mr. Roy for letting us organize a great event that won several hearts. With unanimous support from our CEO, seniors and colleagues, we were able to make our event a successful one. Completing 12 years of unbeaten service is not an easy task. In order to celebrate the 12 year, Karmick organizing board members did put up a great show at Sujata Sadan Smriti Hall. The program started with the diya lighting ceremony by our CEO, Sourav Roy and one of the eminent directors of Tollywood industry, Mr. Gautam Ghosh. Soon after the felicitation, it was our honor to listen to Mr. Ghosh sharing his view points on a growing business on web designing and development.

Karmic Event team members mainly focused on putting up a program that is not only enthralling but refreshing as well. The celebration began with a traditional dance on Ganesh Vandana followed by a group song on Rabindra Sangeet. Audiences present in the hall were just mesmerized with these soothing and inspirational performances. As per their views, “they were just genius”. None of them could take their eyes off from the performances put up by this Karmick troop.

Next came up the most pulsating show of Karmick, ‘the duo dance’. As this dance number was taken from the latest Tollywood hits, the audience kept tapping their feet all throughout. Who could expect such a professional dance performance that kept the spectators gyrating? This was not enough; can you imagine someone doing a smooth moonwalk on Michael Jackson’s famous dance number ‘Billie Jean’? The performer was believed to be a hardcore MJ fan. He couldn’t just stop him from showcasing a mind blowing on-stage performance. Who knew that this employee would take away the best dance performance award of Karmick?

Have you got any idea what was the very next performance? It was none other than Karmick’s ‘famous three’. What a mind-boggling group dance! Audiences were just numb initially then with the vivacious beats of the music they went gaga over it. Can you believe, this music was a punch of three different dance numbers which was put up awesomely well by the stunning performers. Kudos to the choreographer who worked very hard on it! After viewing this amazing presentation, the spectators thought the choreographer to be a professional. But the fact is she was none other than our very own Karmick employee who took the initiative to put up great dance show.

Superstars

Each of the programs was ‘ek se baar kar ek’! We were truly not aware of the Karmick superstars. You must be thinking, now who are these superstars? They are none other than our own Karmick drama team who performed outstandingly well. Performing a one act play in front of huge number of audiences with just a month practice is not as easy as it looks. The name of this drama was ‘Ekti Awbastob Golpo’ by the famous playwright Mr. Bimal Bandhopadhya. The ten characters played by our people were just beyond words. They made us laugh, they made us cry, and they were the ones who arrested our attention all through 40 minutes. We all were simply mesmerized with their awesome performances. Truly, the credit goes to the director, who is one of the most senior staff of Karmick. It is our honor to get such talents like him who has considerable experiences in this field of drama for 15 long years.

To make a slight diversion from the event, the Karmick Organizing board proposed Mr. Sourav Roy to commence with the award-giving ceremony. Special prizes and mementos were given out to employees with outstanding work performance that has helped the company to reach greater success. A host of awards were in line to be awarded to the best employees of our office. Karmick Awards were divided into few important categories that are as followed:

Besides these there were special mementos for the best performer’s category in the cultural events. Even this wasn’t enough. It was a great surprise for each and every employee of Karmick to receive participation certificates from our General Managers Mr.Debabrata Adhya and Abhijeet Malakar.

The EVENT Finale

By reading the last blog, you must be thinking that the program was on the verge of conclusion as the award ceremony came into the picture.  But, how could you expect an event to be over without the Fashion Show, which was the highlight of the entire program? The Karmick team really worked hard to put up an awesome fashion show for the audience. It was one of the most happening shows of our office. The fashion theme was on Durga Puja, Bengal’s most happening festival. Keeping in mind the season ‘Sarat Kal’ (Autumn), the choreographers introduced the festive spirit mood in form of cat walk on the ramps. The performers of the show made the entire hall mesmerized with their awesome style and grandeur. Walking on the ramp like professional show walkers is just not everyone’s cup of tea. Kudos to both the Karmick crew who groomed all the 15 performers to put up a grand show on 24^th September 2011!

The program would have never been framed properly unless our CEO Mr. Roy hadn’t arranged for a lunch buffet treat for everyone. It was truly an awesome treat for the Karmickans and their family members. Each of us simply savored our taste buds with the sumptuous meal that was served. It was just not an afternoon gathering but a real appetizer party as well. Depending on the number of guests and employees, and also the event list, the time allotted for the banquet was at 2.p.m. This timing was well suited for every one as they could enjoy the food thoroughly. You must be thinking what was there in the menu card that savored our palates? The menu started with fresh green salads, starters, fried rice(veg/non-veg), paneer, alur dum, chicken kasha, and desserts (chatni, papad,  rasgullas,  ice-cream).  It was a complete ‘Bangali Bhoj’ (Bengali luncheon) arranged by Karmick Organizing team.

This is just not the end because then came up the most awaiting performer with his most energizing show. This vibrating and pulsating performance was executed by one of the famous singers of Tollywood, Sujoy Bhowmick. He was accompanied by his co-member, who equally performed outstandingly well.

As this was the last show, it was very difficult to stop the crowd from tapping their feet with the awesome dance numbers.

Last but not the least, a big THANK YOU to the entire Karmick crew and specially our CEO for making this 12^th annual foundation day an outstanding one!

So, ‘Come, let’s Roll Up our Sleeves and Rock it with Rhythm’ for the next year again!
