This week I had another Court case as
part of Moneybuddy’s Home Rescue Service, which helps clients stop
repossessions and evictions. It is a great alternative to selling
your home cheaply to fast cash house buyers (at a huge loss!). I
only heard about the eviction warrant date on Monday 19th September
at 5pm. The [...]

I’ve
been rather silent of late on the site, because I have been doing
some training about Freeman concepts for getting rid of debt. For
anyone who has not heard of the Freeman Movement – it is an
alternative (and probably more real/accurate) view of the world we
live in. It relates back to the [...]

As
anyone who has read my blog before knows, I highly recommend
constructive complaining to faceless corporates and those companies
in particular, that treat us poorly as consumers. I enjoy it just
as an exercise in personal rebellion but also as I hate wasting
money and hate being taken for a ride by such companies! [...]

Have
a go at this fun, 7 question quiz to find out just how good you are
at complaining? I thought I was a mistress of complaining…and my
friends would totally agree…but apparantly I am rather poor at
complaining, or at least seeing a reason for these complaints.

I had yet another great offer through the
post today, from a debt collection company. This time Lowell
Financial Ltd, who were apparently “Debt Purchaser of the Year” in
2010 and 2007 according to the footnote on their email to me. They
could be really helpful and even let me pay them £1 per month.

I am
shocked and almost speechless at the scenes of looting and mindless
violence on the news this morning. In fact I was rather agitated
about it for several hours. Last night it nearly made me cry,
listening to Mr Reeves, a shopowner in Croydon who’s shop had been
burned down in the riots. The [...]

I
tuned into the news on Friday, having not watched the news for a
week or so, only to find out that I seem to have missed the global
financial crisis which has been happening this week! Why then, am I
not particularly bothered? Well, at the end of the day, we seem to
have [...]

After having
looked into my own pension provision from my previous well paid
career, I realised that fees were just being deducted and my
pension fund wasn’t getting any bigger. So I decided to bite the
bullet and learn more about pensions planning myself – as I always
advocate…don’t leave financial matters to someone else [...]

Over
recent months I have helped a number of people having their homes
repossessed, and been to Court with them. For many people, the fear
that they will lose their home, sends them into a blind panic. They
are too embarrassed to talk to anyone they know about it, and will
often try to seek [...]

After
many years of holding various insurance policies, I had a flood in
a rental property I own while it was empty over Christmas. Claiming
to repair the damage and for loss of rental income has been a
nighmare and unresolved for 4 months now. To add insult to injury,
I then suffered damage to [...]
