Summary: Overcoming Drug or Alcohol Addiction with Narconon Trois-Rivieres
Drug or alcohol addiction can be overcome. People can release themselves from the chains of addiction. The proof is the success stories from Narconon Trois-Rivieres seen below.
I happened into a site
today, much to my amazement it seemed to be a site for pushers
looking for
customers. You will
remember in an earlier blog I wrote about the problem of OxyContin
being taken off the market and OxyNEO being its
replacement. I found this item:
|
|
OxyNeo replaces OxyContin
|
“I have
OxyNEO 40mg and 20mg in stock. Despite what you've heard they
aren't crush proof and work just as the OC's and OP's do.
20mg are 15$ each and 40mg and 30$ each”. (OCs are OxyContin,
OPs are
Opiates)
Well curiosity killed the
cat as to say, I kept reading this site. Just to see what was
going on with OxyNEO in the addict world. Obviously
the fellow above is either selling a false pitch, or has figured
something out.
On my previous blog, I
think I mentioned that it would not be long before someone who has
a friend who knows
about chemistry would figure out a way to make the OxyNEO pills
usable by the drug addicted people out there.
The next post was a
complaint about the price; the one following was this one that I
found interesting:
“It turns into a "HydroGel" as soon as it contacts water.
Not only that, stops up your nose like crazy!
Also people have reported having stringy gel like
Feces and vomit after taking the OxyNEO.”
My curiosity is definitely now piqued. Just how are they
taking it? Maybe the drug company did something this time that was
going to work? I just kept reading:
“I totally agree with you! The effects are like half of the old
ones...gives you major stomach cramps and pain...no one wants them
that I know of”…
Then this one:
“U
cannot crush them.......I know it's a bummer........what's worse is
they don't work for pain anymore”
Hey cool, maybe the manufacturer was right? Take a
moment and ponder that.
Now I am not going to give the site I found this data on. I
just found it really curious that all this discussion was going on
in public on the World Wide Web. I almost turned to the next
site but for some reason I didn’t. I kept reading.
The person selling the drugs admitted that he way lying about the
product and ended up cutting his prices. It was just before
the following and right after he announced he had sold out.
There it was, about half way down the page, detailed instructions
on how to get the OxyNEO broken down, powdered, and snort able so
that none of the complaints above occurred.
The post was marked April 6th. In Canada OxyContin came off
the market and was replaced on the 29th day of March.
So it has taken nine days for the safeguard that the manufacturer
has put on these pills to be broken down and discarded by the
addicts.
I won’t go into how, because I am not an enabler, nor tell the site
for the same reason.
The point is an addict is desperate for the next fix, and will do
anything to get that fix. The safeguards that the
manufacturer put on these pills were quick to break
through.
Doesn’t it make more sense to get off the drugs and addictions,
than continuing in this expensive game?
Narconon Trois Rivieres is there to help you and they use standard
procedures to get your results. Give them a call.

There is a new drug out in Canada, or perhaps not so new, but new
to me. It is called PMMA. What is it? What kinds
of effects does it have? Is it addictive?
|
|
Let's talk about drugs
|
PMMA stands for
para-Methoxymethamphetamine . It also is called
Methyl MA, 4-methoxy=n-methylamphetamine (4-MMA). It is a
stimulant and psychedelic drug closely related to the
amphetamine-class and serotonergic drug.
Para-Methoxyamphetamine. Para-Methoxyamphetamine also
called PMA is toxic to humans, and is believed to have the
potential to cause harmful side effects or death in
overdose. PMMA is structurally similar to PMA, and is
believed to have the same toxicity as PMA.
While listening to the news today, I heard about PMMA for the first
time. Someone had died from it. From what I find
out, PMMA has been known to produce severe hyperthermia at low
dosages. At higher doses the side effects and risk of death
are very similar to PMA. PMMA causes an increase in blood
pressure and heart rate and death .
PMMA found in tablets and capsules of MDMA sold as “ecstasy”.
When sold as ecstasy a number of deaths were attributed to the
contaminated drug. Basically, the user things
they are consuming a recreational dose of MDMA, when they are
getting a lethal dose of PMMA.

Party Drugs of
Doom
|
In January of 2012, five deaths were reported in
British Columbia. The province this week
according to the Huffington Post, the province’s chief coroner said
that reviews of 18 deaths related to the party drug since the start
of 2011 were found to have PMMA present in at least five people’s
systems. Further, five people died in Calgary recently
after taking what they thought was pure ecstasy.
Health officials say the PMMA can overheat the body leading to
brain and organ damages.
PMMA has been associated with a large number of deaths across the
world, including in Israel, Denmark and Taiwan, according to the
Canadian Centre on SubstanceAbuse.
I found no data on if PMMA was addictive. From the data in
the Huffington Post, it looks to me like it is believed that
someone mixed a batch of ecstasy incorrectly and managed to come up
with this very toxic drug.
In BC there are 19 deaths attributed to the contaminated drug since
August 2011. There are 8 deaths in southern Alberta linked to
PMMA in the past six months.
It isn’t known if this drug is addictive. However other drugs
are. If you have an addiction, contact NarcononTrois
Rivieres to find out about what they can do to help you get
rehabilitated. 1-877-782-7409

What OxyContin Does
|
National Aboriginal Health Organization has an
n article on their site, telling of the
OxyContin
addictions of their peoples, and the replacing with OxyNEO.
Purdue Pharmaceuticals discontinued the manufacture of
OxyContin on the 29
th of February 2012 in
Canada. It had been discontinued in other countries
earlier.
The concern of the First Nations communities is that many of the
residents are addicted to OxyContin which has been
smuggled into their communities. With the drug no
longer available, there could be massive problems from withdrawal
from this drug.
Per the article, there are 49 Nishnawbe Aski Nations
(First Nations) communities in Northern Ontario, with drug
addiction problems with this drug, and one at least
Cat Lake has 60% of its residents addicted to OxyContin.
The community has declared a state of emergency in their area due
to the high addiction rate. Fort Hope has 650 addicts;
Matawa First Nations have 2000 addicts.
A physician Dr. Chase in Fort Hope feels the addiction is of
epidemic proportions. He indicates in this article that
solving the problem with tamper-proof medicine is not going to
solve the problem.
The
Nishnabe Aski Nation has also declared a state
of emergency in 2009 as 10,000 band members are Oxy-dependent.
The drug was introduced in 2000, and over 300 deaths
occurred in Ontario alone, according to a 2009 study at St.
Michaels Hospital in Toronto.
The
Huffington Post says First Nation leaders
expect a health crisis will occur in the northern Ontario
reserves when thousands of OxyContin addicts are suddenly without
the drug. Per this report, OxyContin is twice as
strong as morphine.
Several cases were lost by Purdue in regards to them making false
claims that the drug is less addictive, less subject to abuse,
and less likely to produce withdrawal symptoms compared to
similar pain medications. $600 Million in
penalties were agreed to by Purdue for Fraud. Of
note is that between the time the drug was introduced and 2001,
Purdue produced $2.8 Billion dollars in revenue for Purdue with
OxyContin and represented 90% of the company’s sales
.
If you are one of the unfortunate who
have become addicted to OxyContin, remember, you can always call
Narconon Thois Rivieres. They have specialists who
deal with helping those addicted off the drug.

It is important to take a look at the
different types of Drug
Rehab Facilities when you are deciding on one for yourself or
your loved ones.
You want the best available help there is to help with the
addictions. Shop
around and decide which facilities are the best for you, and your
family.
There are those facilities that
are out patient rehab
centers. They are designed for the person who
has a job and other things going on in their lives, like children
to look after or parents to take care of. They offer
a wide range of treatments to the addicts
. Often the patient needs only to check in a couple of
evenings a week for treatment that ranges from
psychological to medical treatment. Some places
include psychotropic drugs in their care. These care
facilities do not include nutritional treatments for the
patient. The downfall of these is that it is so easy to
slip off the track with so much time in the environment where the
addiction started out in.
Inpatient care is sometimes offered and can also be referred to
as residential
treatment. The patient is booked into the care unit for
periods of 3 to 6
months. During that time, the patient can partake of a
number of treatments. Sometimes the patients are prescribed
psychotropic drugs to help take the edge off of withdrawal.
One or more sources I saw mentioned that drug addiction was the
effect of a chemical imbalance in the brain. There is no
scientific testing that has proven such an idea. Often
these drugs are continued after rehab, even though many of them are
addictive. Do you really want to substitute one drug
addiction for another?
There is another type of drug and
alcohol addiction rehab facility, which seems to be mostly
inpatient.
These are called Holistic Drug Rehab
Programs. These tend to look at more natural types
of treatments that deal mostly in working in three different
areas of treatment which are mind, body and
soul.
Narconon Trois-Rivieres
is a natural inpatient drug
rehabilitation program. The patients partake of supervised
withdrawal that is done in such a way as to help reduce the
discomfort of withdrawal. Drugs and alcohol reduce the
nutrients in the body, so everything possible is done to
replenish what the body should have. The body is then put
through a program to get residue drugs from the fatty cells in
the body. Then study to further understand addiction and
life. After graduation, there are consults that occur to
help the graduate through any rough spots in their rehabilitation.
Do get further information at the
Narconon.ca site and investigate further what Narconon can do for
you. The success
rate of Narconon
graduates 3 out of
4 have not returned
to their addictions one year later.

The crack addict and the cocaine addict both use manufactured
derivatives of the coca leaf – a powerful stimulant that mimics the
effects of pleasure experience, and increases levels of dopamine in
the brain. Crack cocaine addicts use crack, a crystal form of
cocaine, that is heated and inhaled. A cocaine addict uses
cocaine in the form of a powder that can be snorted, smoked or
injected.
“The chemical properties of crack and cocaine are very similar –
both a crack addict and crack cocaine addicts use crack or cocaine
to create good feelings about themselves, and to overcome emotional
problems in their lives” reports JF Dubreuil of
Narconon
Trois-Rivieres.
A cocaine addict usually has a superior image to that of
crack
cocaine addicts. In Canada, and elsewhere, cocaine has
associations with people who are successful, and empowered, people
who are financial, people who like to party. Many people don’t see
a cocaine addict in the same light, as degraded, dirty crack
cocaine addicts that make their own crack cocaine and live
unhealthy lives.
A cocaine
addict will need more money to support his habit –
cocaine is regarded as pure, and comes with an expensive price tag.
The image maintained by high end cocaine users that they are both
powerful and in control is belied by the fact that, just like any
other drug user, a cocaine addict is controlled by his habit. A
cocaine addict might present a front of being a high achiever – it
is only a matter of time before cocaine use will intrude. Many a
cocaine addict has not come to sense or reason about the truth of
his destructive habit until he has lost family and friends, his
reputation, his livelihood, and all of his assets as a direct
result of being a cocaine addict. Too late the cocaine addict
realizes the damage that cocaine use does to your health.
A crack addict generally is in need of a more intense experience
than can be obtained from cocaine. Inhaling the vapor of crack
cocaine produces intense effects on the brain, and is extremely
damaging, both physically and emotionally.
Cocaine rehab in Canada, is available to both the crack
addict and cocaine addicts. To be effective cocaine rehab must
include complete cocaine detox, with all inclusive programs that
support cocaine rehab at an emotional level.
In Canada, there are comprehensive, effective cocaine rehab
programs that use 100% drug free methods to enable complete cocaine
detox, with therapeutic training routines that help strengthen the
resolve of both crack and cocaine addicts to fully recover from
their addiction.
Crack rehab in Canada that is comprehensive and
effective enables the cocaine addict and the crack addict to
rebuild a new life, independent of cocaine, or crack, and addiction
free. A crack addict or a cocaine addict who chooses comprehensive
crack rehab or cocaine rehab for their addiction can expect to
achieve full recovery if they do the work. Cocaine addiction can be
overcome, bringing new vision and hope to those addicted to crack
and cocaine.
Narconon offers a crack
cocaine rehab program that has been proven efficient
to help crack and cocaine addict to beat their addiction. For more

Holidays are supposed to be happy times. How happy are the
holidays, really, when someone we love is an addict? Probably not
very happy at all. The addict is usually front and center causing
friction and stress during the holidays. There is a way to make
sure that doesn’t happen again. Giving effective drug treatment is
a gift for them, and you. For those who have suffered with
addiction in their family, the holidays usually aren’t happy at
all, despite all efforts. The only way to make sure they become
happy again is to end the addiction. That is where a proven drug
rehab program as delivered at
Narconon
Trois-Rivières comes in.
The addiction isn’t going to go away. Things aren’t going to get
better, and this holiday is not going to suddenly become a happy
one. Those are the facts. Holidays can’t be happy when there is an
addict in the family. The gift of effective drug treatment is a
gift that will be cherished forever. It can’t be stressed enough
that by ignoring the problem during the holidays is the worse thing
people can do.

William Benitez's Story
When battling an addiction, there will be people along the way
who will try to push you down further. You will come across
people who will not show you any respect, and who will not
understand what it is you are going through. If this happens, do
not give up on yourself, and never lose hope. There is a way to
overcome addiction, and you can live a drug free life everyday
for as long as you live. Take a look at the story below about the
founder of the Narconon® program, William Benitez.
William Benitez was a multiple-time convicted felon, and was a
hard-core heroin addict for over 19-years. He was sentenced to
the Arizona State Prison after being convicted once again for a
drug-related offence. Here are the events that occurred before
Will was processed at the prison.
He walked towards the prison guard, ashamed at his failures yet
again to stay off drugs, despite looking for answers for quite
some time without finding success. Will said to the guard, “ I’m
not proud to be here again. You know I’ve tried, and tried to
find the answers. I’ve been reading about this, but I can’t seem
to stay clean. I need help, can you help me?”
The guard looked at Will and said, “You know the best thing you
can do, the best thing you can do for yourself, for your wife,
for your kids, and for this society; I’ll let you have my gun, go
behind that building and shoot yourself. Because Will, that is
really what would be best for you, your family, and the rest of
us.”
Desperate and without hope, William was looking for help, and
when he asked for help to a person of authority, only more
hopelessness was given to him.

During his last stay at the Arizona State Prison, Mr. Benitez
read a book by L. Ron Hubbard, The Fundamentals of Thought. The
information it contained enabled him to overcome his own
addiction, something he had unsuccessfully tried to do for years.
Then, in 1966, after corresponding with Mr. Hubbard who offered
advice, he initiated the Narconon program to assist his fellow
inmates and addicts to overcome their substance abuse
problems.
Many inmates asked to join the popular
first Narconon program. It had 60 students
before spreading to other prisons.

S. G.'s Success Story
This had changed my life. I came here scared, angry,
hostile, and I was very jumpy. I have become the person I always
knew was inside of me. I have nothing to fear, nothing to hide
and no regrets. I am calm, happy, and content. I now have
ambition plus the drive to succeed, and I plan to live a healthy
drug free life. Thank you Narconon for bringing me out of my
shell. It was dark and scary in there, and now I have light in my
life!
