automatic machine. It heats up quickly and produces FANTASTIC
espresso with thick crema.Only a few minor problems:
Frothing milk is difficult- but if you only drink espresso its well
worth it.
Plastic Case- I love metal.
Pump- works great, but its a *tad* noisy (only a tad)
Instructions- worthless.Like italian translated to japanese

Dont pass this great great machine by!Im so happy and caffeinated

(More customer reviews)I love this
refrigerator. I have owned it for a year and a half (with no
problems). Below is my opinion based on each feature:
1. French Doors. I love them. THe left door has a flap that sort of
flattens out as you close the door to seal against the right
door.Because of the little flap, the right crisper drawer does not
pull all the way out if the left door is closed. Alternatively, you
CAN keep the right door closed and pull the left crisper drawer all
the way out. Anyhow I usually end up opening both doors when i go
to the fridge, so it will take 2 hands, but i still love the french
door look.
2. Inside water dispenser. Love that too. THe only bad design is
the button to get the water is a few inches above the actual
dispenser. it is difficult for me to get a glass of water with one
hand; i usually hold the glass with one hand and press the button
with the other. But i do like this design much better than the
'outside of the door' water dispenser; i think this fridge has a
cleaner look. I didn't even notice the inside water dispenser at
first, it takes up VERY LITTLE room which is great!
3. Drawer freezer. I like it enough for what I have (bachelorette
food like hot pockets and lean cuisines). I expected it to hold a
bit more than it really does. I do like the fact that it's wire
baskets that hold my food rather than a solid surface; sorta
eliminates cleaning.THe reason i don't TOTALLY love this freezer is
simply because if I had a bowl of liquid, i would have to be VERY
CAREFUL to freeze it (such as an extra water bowl for my dog).
Anything you want to be in the freezer will need to move/slide to
get it in there - i have to only fill the bowl 1/2 full of water or
else it will spill when i close the freezer door.
4. Adjustable "no spill" shelves. These are great. Everything is
adjustable which is perfect for me. I adjust them quite a bit
actually. Also there is a small lip on each shelf so if something
leaks, it won't drip down the back wall of the fridge. I like this
idea. Also the shelves pull out a few inches in case you have
something in the back you need to reach.
Overall this is a great fridge. It also beeps after a few minutes
if you accidently don't close a door all the way. Temperature of
both the fridge and freezer are displayed at the top inside of the
fridge. Very easy/intiutive to adjust. Those small flaws listed
above are very easy for me to live with; i would buy this
refrigerator again. And, i love the stainless steel look!

(More customer reviews)We tried "Pool
Perfect with Phos Free" this year for the first time. We've had this
pool for 30 years and it's NEVER BEEN THIS CLEAR! No doubt that
Phos Free deserves much of the credit.
We also installed a Hayward/ Gold Line chlorine generator this
year.(Hopefully I will find time to review that product too). That
may deserve some of the credit. We like that product too, but if I
had to choose which product to try, I would try the phos-free
first. Why?Because it does not require an up-front capital
investment, nor installation. You just add to your pool.
Let me tell you about our experience and what we've learned.
A clear understanding of how this product works will help you
succeed with it.You pour a small amount of Phos-Free in your
skimmer. It scavenges phosphorus from the water so that algae has no
phosphorus.
Why phosphorus?Phosphorus is one of the essential macro-nutrients
that plants need. That's why they put phosphorus in fertilizer. If
you buy 5-10-5 fertilizer, it's got 10% phosphorus; the middle
number refers to the amount of phosphorus.Somebody figured out that
phosphorus is the easiest nutrient to remove - and starve the algae
- and they created PhosFree to do the job.Their web site [...] has
a lot of info about this. I found the web site to be informative
and credible.I majored in chemistry in college so I'm pretty well
prepared to judge its credibility.
Even some pool professionals don't understand this product.PhosFree
can't kill algae. It can only prevent it from growing. Some pool
guys told me that they had tried a phosphate scavenger once in a
pool that was green, green, green, and chlorine would not fix
it.They tried their brand of phosphate scavenger (not Phos Free)
and the pool was still green. They might have had more success if
they understood phosphate scavengers. They used a phosphate test
kit and they swore that there was no phosphorus in the pool (the
test kit can detect as little as 100 parts per BILLION).They did
not understand that the phosphorus was already in the algae. So if
you can vacuum away any algae (or leaves) before you start, that
will help.Leaves (or grass, etc) can release phosphorus and other
nutrients as they decay, feeding the algae.
The pool guys also might have had more success if they had used
enzymes. This product also includes an enzyme that they call
PoolPerfect. It breaks down organic matter, including dead algae,
releasing the phosphate so that the PhosFree can scavenge it up.The
pool guys might have had more success if they had used this
combination product.
How did I use it?I bought a phosphorus test kit to monitor
phosphorus levels so I could tell what's going on.I learned a
lot.You can do this too, or you can just add a little bit every
week.I noticed that as it scavenges phosphorus, it also raises the
pressure in the sand filter. So I guess that the phosphorus is
captured in the sand filter until it ultimately gets backwashed
down the drain.Using PhosFree I could keep the phosphorus below 100
ppb.The aforementioned web site states that algae cannot divide
with less than 125 ppb of phosphate in the water.
I have read everything on their web site [...].I've used the
product for a full season, and our pool is CLEARER THAN EVER, even
though we're using less chlorine, and we stopped using other
algaecide completely. We like having less of that other junk in the
water.
What about cost?We found that a maintenance dose of 4 to 8 ounces
per week is sufficient for our 25,000 gallon pool.So a two liter
bottle of "PoolPerfect plus PhosFree" lasted us more than 8
weeks. That comes down to about$5.00 per week or about $100 for the
pool season. But we're saving money by using less chlorine, less
algaecide, and running the filter for fewer hours per day.We like
the fact that we don't have to handle as much chlorine and we've
reduced our environmental impact. And we're using the pool more.
We'll definitely be using this product again next year.
Addendum (August 2010):Now in our third season using this
product.Still happy with it.Still recommending it to friends. One
thing that I've learned:use a paint stirrer stick.The phosphate
scavenger settles to the bottom of the jug.Shaking doesn't stir the
stuff off of the bottom because it makes too much foam.So I use a
paint stirrer stick - like they give you when you buy a can of
paint. This works well to stir the stuff from the bottom of the
jug. Also:next year I plan to try a related product called Pool
First Aid when I open the pool. One last thing: I called their tech
support line and found them to be competent and helpful.

(More customer reviews)Having been sorely
disappointed with the Cuisinart Grind & Brew, I moved on to the
Capresso MT500.I have not been disappointed.
Aside from being a superior coffee maker, the MT500 is a sleek,
elegant appliance that looks great on any kitchen counter.
The keypad is simple and easy to use, and includes a digital clock
for 24-hour programmability (a key must-have for me).The unit has a
3-5 cup small batch setting for fast and efficient brewing of
smaller quantities (another must-have for me).
Perhaps most importantly, the unit brews very satisfactorily hot
coffee, unlike the Grind & Brew, which I found luke warm (less
than 170F).The thermal carafe does an excellent job of keeping
unused coffee hot, particularly when you pre-heat it with hot
water.
My only criticism would be that fill-level is inconveniently
positioned and somewhat hard to read.
All in all, I'm very pleased with every aspect of the MT500.

(More customer reviews)We have owned
several home espresso machines and this is by far the best one
ever. The ability to froth milk automatically just before or just
after making coffee or espresso is unique. In most other units it's
necessary to purge the water system before steaming milk and then
purging it again to regain brewing temperature. In this unit you
just press the button and frothed milk foams out into your cup, and
is pre-programmed to stop at the right moment. The milk unit can be
removed and stored in a refrigerator and the parts are easy to
clean. It even tells you when to run a cleaning or decalcifying
session. Programable in English and several European languages.
It's also easy to make hot cocoa by frothing chocolate milk.
Electronic controls dose out the amount of coffee or espresso from
a short shot of espresso (single or doppio) to a mug of coffee. It
turns itself on and off and pre-measures the coffee you grind and
the strength of your coffee. This is an electronic wizard that does
lots more than brew a great cup of coffee. This is an ideal machine
for an office or a household with a big entertainment kitchen.

(More customer reviews)After spending a
few weeks researching various coffee makers and reading numerous
reviews and online user reports, I settled on the Capresso
CoffeeTEC due to its features and the theory behind how it brews
coffee - reduced aeration to hold flavor (vacuum sealed carafe), no
burner to bake the bean and increase acidity, and 190+ degree water
dispensed into the brewing basket, which is very hot for a coffee
maker!
I have to admit, I was nervous.I saw two general complaints that
were common from online user reports.1) The carafe did not maintain
the water temperature, and 2) the frother ceased to work.A few
comments on these:
Thermal carafe: I have no clue how anyone can be having a problem
with this carafe, unless there's a problem with the heat of the
water entering the carafe or in how they're storing the coffee
after it brews (like, in the refrigerator, perhaps).
I did some tests on the carafe after getting my CoffeeTEC.The
carafe was at room temperature (not pre-heated, as some suggest)
when doing this test.Immediately after brewing straight water with
the carafe in the closed position, I measured the water temperature
at 189.3f using a digital thermometer.I closed the carafe and let
it sit for exactly one hour then measured the water at 182.1f, a
drop of only about 7f, which is fantastic! Now, I also brewed a full
pot of straight water on my now-replaced Mr. Coffee, which sat on a
hot burner during the brew process. After brewing, the water
temperature was exactly 178f.So, after one hour in the thermal
carafe with no burner contact, the Capresso water was hotter than
the Mr. Coffee immediately after brewing.Very impressive
results!
Frothing problem: I have noticed that the plastic pieces that
connect the milk container to the frother do have to be sealed
properly for frothing to work. Also, it is necessary to clean the
items after frothing; a very simple and quick process.Occasionally
my unit will not froth immediately even though the steam would
blast in an attempt to froth. This has been very easy to solve. After
turning the steam on, I simply press the milk container tightly
against the plastic piece that connects it to the frothing
nipple.Don't worry if you don't understand this description. You
have to own the unit to know the pieces I'm discussing.Just
understand that with some minor manual jostling, the milk will flow
and froth wonderfully!
Now, as for my assessment of this coffee maker... it is the best
coffee maker I have ever owned!I'm knocked-out by the quality of
brew I'm getting.Just as good if not better than commercial coffee
houses, because I can make it to my specifications!
A few comments on this though... it took a few weeks for me to
figure out exactly how to use this coffee maker so it brews to my
liking.When I brewed my first cup, I didn't care for it.Keep in
mind, this unit brews water quickly through the grind. It extracts
flavor and aroma through heat, not prolonged water contact with the
bean.As a result, you will have to use more coffee than most coffee
makers.
As an example, I used to measure one rounded tablespoon of beans
(pre-ground) for every two 5oz cups, then I'd add one extra
tablespoon for added body. So, for 20oz of coffee, I'd use three
tablespoons of beans. With this coffee maker, I've learned I need to
use one tablespoon for each 5oz cup plus one extra for added
body. So, for the same 20oz pot of coffee, I use five tablespoons of
beans.
Also, the other detail I discovered is, it was necessary to grind
the beans finer than I had before.I've started grinding the beans
on the Espresso setting of my grinder rather than the automatic
drip setting. This made a huge difference on the strength and flavor
of the coffee.
So, keep in mind you'll want to play with the quantity and fineness
of grind. If you use canned grinds, you have much less leeway. You'll
just have to add much more grind, but be careful!Don't add too much
or it will overflow the basket.Always adhere to the maximum grind
amount Capresso recommends in the documentation.
The coffee maker comes with a gold filter. You may or may not like
using the filter; I elected not to use it.The gold filter allows
more oil and particulates into the coffee. Some like this; others
don't.It makes for an oilier, cloudier brew.Using paper filters,
more of the fine particles are filtered out and much of the oil is
kept from leaching into the carafe. The coffee is cleaner, clearer
and not murky.I prefer using paper, but the preference is highly
individualistic.I'd suggest running some tests and decide for
yourself.
In the end, I find the coffee to be superb! This coffee maker is a
fine-tuned piece of equipment that responds to the subtlest of
changes you impart on the brewing process.Change the fineness of
the grind or the quantity of beans used and you'll experience a
noticeable difference in the outcome of the brew. After I determined
the right balance that suits my pallet, all I can say is, "Wow!"The
flavor and body is nutty, winy and full, the aftertaste smooth and
non-acidic, and the aroma outstanding!I highly recommend this
coffee maker.
But, plan to make a number of pots when you first get it with the
understanding that many of those pots will probably go down the
drain. It'll take some test runs to determine the quantity of coffee
you'll want to use, the fineness of grind, and which filter to
use. With due diligence, you'll have a splendid coffee maker from
which you'll enjoy each day's coffee for years to come, custom made
specifically towards your taste.
So, read the other reviews for what they are and keep in mind some
of my comments. In my experience, many of the complaints reflect a
user who hasn't experimented with the grind quantity and fineness,
and hasn't been adventurous enough to work the "piping" when
frothing.

(More customer reviews)This review is
after four months into the project. After the oooos and aaahs of
right out of the box have faded into the background.
This is a 34 Gal tank
Setup was pretty straight forward. Don't be a jock, have someone
help you get the tank into position since it's glass. The tank I
bought had the starter kit included. A $129.00 option. Free is a
good thing. If it's not included, don't bother buying it. Some of
the test kits red sea puts out are not all they repeatable.
Don't expect the skimmer to work on turn on. It really does take
some time to break in, and for you to learn how to tweak it to the
level that you want it to work at. I have to admit that fitting a
skimmer, filter and pump system into the area that they did is
Dammed impressive, especially since it actually works. The only
pain in the butt I see is that to replace the bio and carbon
filter, you need to pull both of the pumps out to do it. Not a hard
job... just a pain.
Many reviews I've read say that there is not enough flow in the
tank. That may be true with the older model, but with the 130D that
is not the issue. I put some screen over the output of one of the
pumps to cut the flow down a bit. With that said..... there may be
some owners who think that there should be proper flow through the
tank with a rock in front of the pump outputs.
The instructions are good, everything you need to do the setup and
cycling of the tank are explained. It even tells you when to add
your cleaner crew, corals and fish. I added the crew when they said
to, but waited a two months longer to add the soft corals. Chemical
balance in your tank really is important. Don't go overboard. Get a
little frag and see how it goes. If the water quality isn't as good
as you think it is your only out 10 bucks. Money isn't the
point.... My emerald crab ate one of my hermit crabs because I
screwed up on the feeding and I felt terrible.
This is a good entry tank, Mainly because it takes a little more
work than the larger tanks. With thought, patients, some research
and an eye for detail, anyone can have a god looking tank.
Now after four months of testing water, water changes, the tank
looks good. Eight, soft corals, sixteen hermits, ten snails, two
emerald crabs, one anenomie. and a cleaner shrimp. are doing
fine.

Red Sea Max 130D Plug and Play Coral Reef System 34
Gallon Aquarium w/ Stand and Starter Kit - Black
Product Description:
Red Sea Max 130D - The Complete 34 Gallon Coral Reef SystemRed Sea
is pleased to introduce the new Max 130D. The 130D includes
numerous significant upgrades and improvements from the original
Max 130, and reflects feedback received from thousands of Max
owners, dealers and distributors since the original launch almost 2
years ago. You will readily appreciate the enhanced features of
this new Max 130D over the original version, and the entire system
is now easier to use, requires less maintenance and will give even
higher performance levels. The following key elements differentiate
the Max Coral Reef System from other marine aquariums: ?Reef Spec?
Lighting, Filtration, Skimming and Circulation: Extensive research
and development carried out in our laboratories clearly shows that
in order to sustain delicate hard corals such as SPS species, it is
essential to meet certain criteria. This is especially true when we
remember that many Max aquariums may be purchased by less
experienced hobbyists. Protein Skimming, Filtration &
Circulation: Delivering reef spec performance of 3x per hour
aquarium volume circulation, and more than a 3:1 water to air
ratio, the Turbo injected protein skimmer now has a foam adjustment
feature which makes it even easier to use over a wide range of
water conditions. The filtration system has been improved to ensure
less water flow restrictions. A full sized, adjustable surface
skimmer pulls water from the top of the aquarium where most waste
collects. This upgrade reduces maintenance and aids water flow
through the filter, making air bubble release far less prevalent.
New biological media, improved media bags and an upgraded foam
filter ensures water flows more freely through the entire filter
chamber. The 130D includes a fittings accessory kit which makes it
simple to add a chiller, external filter etc. Lighting: Reef Spec
lighting of 4watts per gallon is controlled by a high quality timer
and consists of upgraded twin 55w T5 Power C

(More customer reviews)I've been using
this dehumidifier for about 2 weeks now.I guess it is a brand new
model for this year and that is why I am the first review.I figured
that last years model had good reviews so this years model can't be
too bad.Plus I've had great luck with our 16 year old Frigidaire
refrigerator so they must know compressors well.
Unit was boxed very well and packaged acceptally from Amazon. You
cut the plastic straps off and lift off the box exterior from the
base. You can then pick up the unit from the handle on top.It is a
plastic handle but doesn't feel fragile when you lift it.It is
pretty heavy, but wasn't a problem for me to carry downstairs to my
garage.
Setup was easy if I remember correctly.Just pull off some tape in a
couple of places and plug in the cord.I had it run on continuous
for several days but have now dropped it down to keeping it at 35
or 40 percent. It has digital pushbutton controls which I haven't
really explored too much. There is a 2 digit numeric display which I
think shows the set value and after a moment the current humidity
that it is seeing.I'd have to check the manual on that for sure
though. That is the way it acted.
I current have it in a garage that is not very warm.It has been
into the upper 30's and 40's there the past couple of weeks.I
needed this dehumidifier out there to keep a bunch of woodworking
tools from rusting.I drive the car into the garage and all of the
snow drips off of it and onto the concrete.I was worried about the
humidity level in there even in the winter. The equipment I have out
there is worth too much to have it rust!
It is really sucking the moisture out of the air though. After about
5 days of running, I had a full bucket.It holds a lot of water.The
bucket is easy to remove from the unit.It has a handle to carry it
with. There isn't really a good spout on the bucket to pour it out
of though - at least I haven't found a corner that works well yet.I
poured the water down the floor drain and it kind of splashes a
bit.
There is a way to hook a threaded garden hose up to the unit so you
can just dump the water into a floor drain or wherever.
That is probably my biggest gripe is that they should of included a
small 2-4 foot hose for that already.I don't want to go buy some 25
foot garden hose and cut it off to what I need.I'm going to see if
I can buy a threaded end and basically make my own out of some
tubing or something. I don't want to have to dump the bucket every
few days and since I have a floor drain right there, that is the
way I would operate it.Of course if you are using this in your
house without access to an easy drain, you'll have to remove the
bucket and maybe dump it in a bathtub or something.
I would imagine that as soon as the humidity gets here this summer,
this unit will really be working hard.Of course opening the garage
doors a couple times of day will really let the humidity back in
but it will just have to pull it back out.
One more thing - I could NOT find this specific unit listed on any
Frigidaire websites which kind of worried me that it is some
off-model unit or something.I think Amazon just probably has access
to selling it and have it listed before Frigidaire actually has it

(More customer reviews)We purchased a new
home several months ago and upgraded to a Whirlpool stainless steel
appliance package and this Refrigerator came in the set. I love the
stainless steel and I think it really adds a lot to the appearance
of our home. Not to mention that it's a lot easier to clean but you
do have to clean it more often because every little fingerprint
shows. You can clean it with any type of cleaner that's
non-abrasive but stainless steel cleaner really works the best in
my opinion. I think the size of it is about average. For our family
of four it wasn't enough freezer space and we ended up getting a
large chest freezer for extra space. There is plenty enough room in
the refrigerator. I like that it has a built in PUR water filter
that is built in to the grill of the unit and it is so very simple
to change. It also has a meter inside the door that tells you when
to change the filter. It will light up yellow to warn you that the
filter will need changed soon and then it will turn red when it's
time to replace the filter. The filter seems to last a pretty long
time because ours is still green and we have been using it for over
5 months. One other thing you might want to know, the front is
stainless steel but the sides are black.

(More customer reviews)Got this thing
delivered, but stalled a week on setting it up because I had read
the reviews that say you have to put it on a "completely level
surface".Kids and wife got tired of waiting so I just set it up.We
don't live on a slope or anything, but the ground isn't completely
level, and the pool is fine.I don't know if it will last until next
summer, but so far it's been wonderful! The cover, which I also
hesitated to use after reading complaints is just fine also.I love
this thing!!Only caveat I can offer is that the width is 15 feet at
the bottom, about 12 feet at the top, and at max depth the water
only goes to 41 inches, not 48.These two things have effected my
enjoyment absolutely NONE.

(More customer reviews)This refrigerator
replaced one of those double door refrigerators that had 5 freezer
shelves which were too narrow to accomodate frozen pizzas or a 22
lb turkey. I hated the old fridge. It looked nice, but was pretty
useless and impractical.
My new Kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer is great. Food items are
clearly visible and there is plenty of storage space on both doors
that allow for varied heigths depending on your needs. Electronic
controls allows for consistent temp. Vegetable and fruit storage is
accomodated with large bins and coldcuts and cheeses have their own
storage drawers. There is an alarm that alerts you if the doors are
not properly closed and a constant readout indicating temperature.
A water dispenser is mounted on an exterior door which I don't use
much.
The lower mounted freezer has two deep baskets that hold pretty
much everything with an adjustable slide for more efficient
storage.
The stainless steel exterior glistens and offers a lot of
flexibility re: home decor. The exterior does require a weekly
cleaning with stainless cleaner.
I like the quality, performance, and appearance and bought as
second similar unit without the water dispenser.

(More customer reviews)I do have the
previous model, what is the same thing but a different "box" I did
have it 2 day before Katrina and here in Hollywood we did have-it
Purdy good.Well of course I did not have a perfect installation but
everything got hock-up in less the 8 hours. This kit is perfect. The
automatic switch box makes the generator kick-in in 30 seconds from
a power outage, and switch back-in by itself.I did select this unit
because I have an AC who draw 13 amps a 230 1 ph. and all the
light, PCs, Tv and small thing draw no more than 2 Amps a 115v.No
hot water or oven. And I can't have the cafe going with the toaster
Oh well I can have-it all because I'm cheap...
I didn't want to be independent from the gas company, and then I
did install a liquid propane system. When Wilma past-by I did run
the unit almost 24 hrs a day and I did consume about 75 to 100# of
LP a day what is expensive but cheaper then gas and you can
store-it for a long theme. Also Propane can be find faster than gas,
because gas station need electricity...
For the noise level, I didn't have any complaints from Nabors or if
I'm in one room away I can barely hear-it.The control is very
simple.Spot the breaker you want to be cover, disconnect-it and
connect the wires to the new circuit. It's that easy.
The only thing you will need is a battery, oil, a base to install
it, gas line (1" pipe minimum) and regulator. The unit is complete
by itself, easy to install, be careful it's 800#, a bit heavy for
one guy... Read the book it's short and simple, the set-up takes a
minute, the governor is a bit tutchy to adjust especially when
there a full load starts. For the maintenance, I change the oil, oil
filter and the air filter one a year keep an eye on the gas and
that-it.Notice the unit cover is painted with a good quality cook
enamels, I have it expose to the sun and rain, after 3 years it
look like new still.
To be on a safe side have an electrician doing the electric system
and the gas Co. to do the line work. And for not a arm and a leg you
will be sleeping with peace and comfort.
PS Sorry for my french, I'm a handy man more then a writer...

Generac Guardian Series 5501 8,000 Watt Air Cooled
Propane/Natural Gas Powered Home Automatic Standby Generator With
Transfer Switch (CARB Compliant)
Product Description:
Experience fast-acting, automatic protection from power loss with
the Generac Guardian Series 5501 8,000 / 7,000 Watt Air-Cooled
Propane/Natural Gas Powered Automatic Standby Generator with Steel
Enclosure. Ideal for home use, this generator powers up
automatically and within seconds of a power outage without the need
for any manual startup. Without any buttons to push or cords to
plug in, an automatic standby generator starts up by itself even
when you're away! Featuring easy installation, it comes pre-wired
and packaged with virtually everything necessary to connect to your
home's electrical system and existing LP or natural gas fuel
supply, so you can be protected the next time the lights go
out.
A 410cc Generac OHVI® Engine delivers reliable performance
with its long-life design. View larger.
Standby generators power up automatically within seconds of
a power outage to keep your family safe and comfortable. View
larger.
This powerful generator comes pre-wired and equipped with
the necessary installation gear. View larger.
Hands-Free Automatic Operation
When the power goes out, this generator eliminates the trouble of
dealing with a fuse box in a dark basement or going outside in a
storm to start a portable generator. After all LP or natural gas
and electrical connections are completed, the Generac 5501 is ready
to run 24/7 and requires absolutely no manual operation, no
fueling, and no extension cords. The generator responds within
seconds of power outages, so inconveniences like heat or air
conditioning loss and burst pipes or spoiled food are quickly
avoided.
Initial setup is easy. The generator arrives pre-wired and equipped
with the necessary installation gear: an 8-circuit transfer switch
(NEMA 1, indoor-rated only), pre-wired conduits, an outdoor
connection box, a flexible fuel line pigtail, and a composite
mounting pad. (Additional items and tools may be needed to complete
the installation to meet local codes. Consult a licensed
professional for further details.)
The unit can be programmed to perform a weekly exercise at the time
of your choice, so it will be ready for continuous and reliable
operation on a moment's notice.
Superior Technology for Secure Output, Quiet Operation, and
Durability
Thanks to Generac's exclusive True Power Technology, this generator
provides clean, continuous power, so sensitive electronics and
microchip appliances like laptops and HVAC equipment can be
operated without the worry that unexpected power surges bring. The
ultra-quiet design means that noise levels during self-tests are
1/3 quieter than portable generators, so your daily routine is
unaffected.
The generator's corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel enclosure is
protected by Generac's proprietary RhinoCoat system--a unique
process that binds the paint to the metal surface for a
long-lasting, durable finish. This allows the generator to sit
outdoors and withstand harsh weather conditions without developing
an unsightly appearance.
Like all Generac generators, this model is UL (Underwriters
Laboratories) listed for safety.
Rugged, Worry-Free Design
The generator features the 410cc Generac OHVI® Engine, an exclusive
air-cooled generator engine with a high-performance design that can
accommodate large electrical loads. The engine optimizes power to
respond swiftly to changing conditions. To add to your peace of
mind, the engine requires routine maintenance only once every two
years, or after 200 hours of use.
This Generac generator meets CARB requirements. It requires a Group
26R 12-volt minimum 350 CCA battery (sold separately).

(More customer reviews)This is my second
time buying this type pool.I owned the 20'x12'x4' previously and it
lasted 3 years. It would've lasted longer but the rim got ruined
after a chemical shower from the refineries. It ate at the rim.I
invested this time in the 24' oval and added the salt water system
and the 4000 gal. pump.If you're going to buy this pool... I would
definitely recommend spending the extra money and buying both the
salt water system and this 4000 gal pump filter. It will save you an
incredible amout of money and time keeping this pool clean. The
suction on the pump is amazing and makes vacuuming a breeze. The
water is chrystal clear all the time and doesn't burn your eyes
with all that chlorine.Salt is so much cheaper and you can find it
at Lowes. The pump actually turns itself on and only runs for 4
hours a day.I highly recommend this system and pool to anyone who
is looking for an above ground.
