(More customer reviews)These are excellent
speakers and studio grade quality meaning they are sufficient for
professional level work by musicians. The non-musician will be
getting a treat. If you are wanting something to blast a room to the
point where you can't scream above it then you shopping in the
wrong category, get out of computer speakers and head to full on
amplifier setups.Sampson knows their stuff when it comes to USB
products, I have their Microphone, the standard for podcasting. So I
suspected the speakers would be equally high quality and indeed
they are.If you are not listening to vinyl or cassettes and all
your music is digital you should find improved clarity if you have
the ear for it.One problem that these speakers solved for me
because they are self-powered was a volume fluctuation problem I
got from my analog monitors hooked up to my computer soundcard.I
would be surprised if Sampson was making much of a profit, and if
they I still feel I got a good deal. They work great with the iPod
and iPhone, no problems, but maybe other reviewers had older models
than I have.

(More customer reviews)It's not a bad
instrument for the price. Good sound, nice resonance, comfortable,
sturdy feel. When it came out of the box one of the screws was out
of the resonator and the others need to be tightened down, but
nothing was broken or missing. I wish it had came with a change of
strings, since I'm not sure how long this set has been on it, but I
guess that's why it only costs a hundred-fiddy. I'm a beginner on
this instrument (played electric bass for 6 years) and I'm
definately pleased with the cost and the actual product.

(More customer reviews)After a month of
solid use the OU7T has become my instrument of choice. The first
thing that caught my eye was the stunning exotic wood grain of the
spalted mango body. With the addition of tastefully done inlay and
ebony tuning keys I figured this ukulele is either a great piece
for wall decoration or a serious instrument. After a quick tuning
of the factory installed Aquila strings (best ukulele strings
anywhere!) I struck the first chord and realized it was both. The
delightful sound from the OU7T is a rich blend of crisp, but not
overly bright, attack and mellow sustained resonance that I never
expected at this price point. The neck action is also perfectly
smooth and without any string buzz even when G is tuned down an
octave. I still enjoy the portability of a soprano and shared
guitar chord simplicity of a baritone but more and more find the
distinct mango wood sound of the OU7T combined with the numerous
tuning options of the tenor size make this my "go to" uke. I highly
recommend this delightful instrument for anyone wanting a ukulele
with superb sound and visual appeal that won't break the bank.

(More customer reviews)For recording my
voice (baritone), it does a great job.For extra warmth that means
close-miking, which in turn means not popping your p's, etc.If you
hold it close to your mouth but don't directly face it end-on,
that's easily done (or get a pop filter).[...].
The microphone electronics are extremely quiet - the audio is
sampled at 18 bits.
It comes with a warranty which is easily extended to 10 years for
free.
The real-time headphone monitoring is a great idea and works
well.
It's a bit heavy (part of being built like a tank), and you need to
think a little about how you're going to mount it, since some cheap
desktop stands can barely manage it.
Some things to keep in mind are:
1) It likes close-miking (at least for male voices)
2) It is USB-only
3) It is a on the bit large and heavy side.
If those don't bother you, and the price is in your range, then you
will probably like it a lot.

(More customer reviews)Sadly, the unit I
received was dead upon arrival. It powered up, and appeared to be
working fine, but after several hours of forcing my system to
squeal, and then another hour doing the same thing but this time
with a audio-pro friend, it was determined that the unit very
simply wasn't doing it's job as a feedback eliminator.I didn't test
the equalizer function.
I really like Behringer products, having experienced and being very
impressed with 4 sharks, a mixer/amp headunit, two unpowered main
speakers and a powered monitor, all of which far exceeded
expectations.
Amazon of course sent a prepaid return label, and promptly refunded
my money, which is great for them as a company, but can't raise my
rating of 1 star on this product.
I've also had a Behringer C1 mic arrive dead on arrival.Sigh.Thank
goodness for Amazon's return policy.

I love this mixer as I can program up to 12 effects and works great

get that big, maybe I will cough up the money for the pioneer, for
now this is under $250 and works great.I may one day get an effects

(More customer reviews)I've had this pedal
for nearly 4 years and I love it today as much as I did the first
day it arrived. First off, I play through a Fender Hotrod Deville
212 plugged into a 4x12 cab with celestion vintage 30 speakers. I
mostly play a Gibson SG special with stock pickups. The crunch box
through this rig turns my Fender amp into a screaming Marshall
Plexi or JCM 800 depending on where I set the gain. The gain is
very useable at all settings. If you want a very plexi-like, raw
crunch, keep the gain below 12 o'clock. 12 o'clock and up and the
gain will get a little less crunchy and a little more fuzzy, but
then again, a real Marshall amp is the same way. Tonally this pedal
is NOT transparent. It adds some chunky bass and mids to give you
that classic marshall sound. There is an internal presence knob
that you have to unscrew the back off to get at; honestly, it's
fine where it's at, but I've adjusted mine a few times and it
would've been nice to have a knob on the outside to facilitate the
process. The volume knob pretty aggressive, and it will raise your
volume in a hurry. The construction is very sturdy, the switch is
solid, I've used this pedal A LOT and never had a problem. I can't
comment on how long battery life is, mine has always been plugged
into an adapter.
I could not be more satisfied with this pedal. It does what many
other pedals, including the marshall-line pedals (which I own)
claim to do, but ultimately fail to pull off, which is to make my
non-marshall amp scream with the best of Jim's creations.
Edited to add: Since writing this review I purchased a Bugera 1990
head, which is basically a Marshall JCM 900 with a lower price tag.
I thought my crunch-box-using days were over. But then on a whim I
decided to try out the crunch box as a boost, and "Voila"!, we have
lift-off. Turning the gain down(so it's at most a quarter of the
way up), and simply adjusting volume and tone to taste, the crunch
box works as a great boost to my already high-gain amp. Usually
"distortion" pedals don't mesh well with already distorted amps (as
opposed to "overdrive" pedals, which conversely are designed for
that purpose), but as long as you keep the gain on the pedal pretty
low the crunch box works great. I will add again that this is NOT a
transparent sounding pedal; and when I call it a boost I don't mean
it's a clean boost; this is a British/Marshall boost. You'll still
get the extra (but not over the top) bass, mids, and (depending
where you set the tone knob) highs. The crunch box takes my amp
from rockin' to roarin', and I'm loving it more than ever.

Mi Audio Crunch Box Distortion
Product Description:
Simple and straight forward, just gain, tone and volume. The MI
Audio Crunch Box has some similarities to the Tube Zone, in the
sense that the design is based on a multiple clipping architecture
(the signal is clipped 3 times). However, there are significant
differences which make these two pedals sound quite different from
each other. The Tube Zone distortion is designed to have a very
'broad' sonic footprint. The Crunch Box distortion on the other
hand has a strong mid-presence to it, similar to the great British
amps.

(More customer reviews)This is the Chauvet
Colorstrip Mini. I have 2 of the American DJ Mega Pixel LED full
length color bars for larger applications but I needed a smaller
version for karaoke shows at bars. I mount one of these on my DJ
booth to add color and light to the bar dance floor. This light is
perfect for small bars and rooms. It would also work great for
adding color to any stage. It is the same as the larger version but
in a smaller package. It has a standard 3 prong cord on it with no
wall wart. It comes with 2 sets of brackets that are different
sizes. Just like the larger version, you can link them together,
but I would buy the larger version if you need more light. These
type of LED lights are so bright, its difficult to look directly at
them. I love the large and small LED bars because they are bright,
colorful and look great. I do get a few complaints about them being
too bright, so I point them down a little. I leave it on sound
active so it changes with the beat of the music and if the music
stops for about 10 seconds then it will flash through the
pre-programmed patterns. I love this light because its small,
coloful and easy to use.

with a Windows XP box and it works just fine. Installation was no
problem, and I didn't have any pops/clicks the other reviewers
noted. The is about the cheapest "professional" soundcard you can
get. The sound (recording or playback) is basically perfect - no
noise whatsoever. The breakout box is great since you don't have to
keep going behind your PC to make connections. It also reduces the
noise you'll pick up if you're doing any recording. The outputs are
1/4" TRS jacks, and you"ll need 1/4" to 3.5mm adapters if you want
to connect to any regular computer speakers. I use these with
Alesis M1 Active 520 monitor speakers and the sound is
wonderful.

(More customer reviews)I must admit I
never had any experience with wahs before. OK, I had one under my
foot ONCE. It left me with the experience that I was gonna need a
lot of time to make my foot do what my ears desired.
I bought a wah anyway 'cause it's just an awesome effect. And since
I'm the guy who loves little knobs and versatility, I went for the
dime...
Costed a little more than one though, but it's all worth it.
It's really easy to understand what all the knobs do, and it helps
the wah-rookie to get into the groove. Starting with a very
moderate setting, your foot can't do much wrong, and you won't get
the feeling that you can't get a decent tone out of it.
And after surpisingly little time you're the master!
I play around with the settings a lot, and I wouldn't want tot miss
it for the world! No standard budget-crybaby for me, thanks, no
sir...

DB01 Dimebag Darrell Crybaby from Hell Wah
Pedal
Product Description:
This might just be the most flexible, powerful wah pedal ever.
Designed in conjunction with Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, the DB-01
Crybaby From Hell gives you everything you need to do serious wah
damage. "It's basically what I'd call a hot-rodded wah," Dimebag
explains. "It's pretty tricked out-it's got an extended sweep so
you can get it to go more high-endy sounding and deeper too.
There's a 5-way selector on the side so you can pick what frequency
you're gonna play within. You've got a kick-in boost and LED
indicators [Wah on/off, Boost on/off] at the back of the
pedal-instead of at the front-so you can see them from the back of
the stage. And it's got skateboard skid-tape on it instead of
rubber so when you've got beer on your feet you won't slip off it.
One other little trick is an extra input jack on the left-hand side
of the pedal so you can go in and out of the CFH on just that side
if you want. That way, if you're just using the wah, you don't have
to loop a chord around the top of the thing, so it's less likely to
get stuck under the pedal. I'm real proud of the CFH, man," Dime
concludes. "It sounds bad-assed and it looks bad-assed too. It's
ready for war!" Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC

(More customer reviews)I've only been
thrashing around with this thing for two days, which is not nearly
enough to get comfortable with it. The manual is minimalistic but
without it I would be quite lost.
What this is, is a wah which is driven not by a pedal, but by the
volume of the incoming signal from the guitar. If the volume
changes rapidly (e.g. playing staccato) the effect is dramatic;
relatively fluid playing yeilds a relatively subtle effect. It also
has a lot more parameters than a conventional wah.
It has enough knobs and switches that the number of paths through
the configuration space, so to speak, is large. You will spend a
lot of time experimenting with it. You will not grudge the time one
bit, because it is seriously way cool.
I love the damn thing. And I haven't even tried it on a bass
yet.

(More customer reviews)The Yamaha HS-50M
studio monitors are excellent tools to listen to and work with. On
audition at Digital Village I compared them to other small studio
monitors by having a CD with acoustic guitar music fed through
them. The bite and colour of strings through the Yamahas were
reproduced very well. That was enough, I bought them.
I have been using these monitors for almost a year now. They have a
fine combination of qualities, and are very serious sounding;
certianly not for children, or to play about with. They are for
solid work, research, and of course, monitoring.
These Yamahas may lack the real lower thunder bass around 20-40Hz,
do not let that put you off, for they can still produce the thunder
bass frequencies centred above this. My floorboards rattle and move
below my feet due to the low frequency energy coming out of these
speakers, and you can hear thuds and thumps captured on certain
recordings. Thus quite simply, yes, there is enough bass
reproduction here to hear. It all depends on the source
quality.
The HS-50M's are very clean sounding, and cymbals have got a
natural shimmer and ring. Front and back depth is good, and stereo
images shift as necessary. Vocals have a realness and closeness as
they should. You can hear the woody resonance of certain guitar
notes resound through your chest, and the dynamic range and dynamic
capability of these speakers are excellent. They also can be
amazingly subtle and gentle.
When testing a wide range of music and sound sources they very
clearly make it known their origin, be it a live TV studio or
compressed artificial recording.
But the overall beauty of these Yamaha's is because they are so
transparent, when listening to old favourites they can bring tears
to your eyes, as they accurately portray an era, atmosphere, and
emotion.
Highly Recommended.
