these Chinese made monstrosities for use at our company. The
paperwork said they are guaranteed to 600Lbs. Yeah, right. the
wheel spun off one of them while it was carrying four 80Lb boxes of
meat (that's 320Lbs)and the other had a wheel blow out (Improperly
mounted, according to the Les Schwab man.).My advice is: Spend a
little more money, and get a real usable product that is made right
here. We did.

I've used alot of hand-trucks.The keys to a good hand truck are: 1)
Durable wheels/axle and 2) Ease of use.The Milwaukee model exceeded
my expectations on both counts, particularly the inclusion of wheel
guards to prevent rubbing.Just make sure you pump up the tires when

(More customer reviews)The Magna Cart
"Ideal" is apparently the next step in the evolution of the
original Magna Cart. It seems new as of March 2009. In the
meantime, the manufacturer Welcom came out with the "Magna Cart
Elite 2". All 3, as of this writing, are available on Amazon, but I
expect the Ideal is the replacement of the original Magna Cart,
which I expect to become extinct soon.
Bolstering that notion is the fact I saw some original Magna Carts
in my local Big Lots store (same price as Amazon, but Amazon had
free shipping). So, I've now been able to handle both.
What I can say is the differences between the original and Ideal
are incremental, and not as big as I had thought. Basically, the
Ideal is an "Elite 2" model, scaled down to the size of the
original Magna Cart. What a great idea. In photos, the Ideal and
Elite 2 look significantly more sturdy than the original MC,
however being able to handle the original, I was still quite
impressed. Actually, the weight of the original and Ideal are about
the same. The folding mechanism and wheels also. The floor tray is
similar (both metal). Extended height: same (I did mark the
distance to my belly button for memory). I think folded height is
same too. Width seemed to be the same, but not sure. The biggest
differences I could see was the structural system forming the back
and handle.
The original can extend and collapse with just one hand. The Ideal
requires two hands, using the yellow button on the big gray
crossbar as you can see in the pics. However, I believe the Ideal's
system is sturdier (just not as convenient). I admit, the
original's system is pretty slick. And actually, the original has 2
height settings. Albeit, they are close to each other, but it does
give more flexibility. My Ideal only has one setting: maximum
extension. All it would take is a small hole in either side of the
tubular frame to get another notch in there; I'm surprised they
didn't do that.
So, while just from looking and studying what I could online, the
Ideal seemed a clear winner to me beforehand, but now they seem
much closer, almost a wash. Just goes to show you how with all the
information you can extract off the web, you still don't
necessarily know before feeling and seeing something in person. The
pathetically small amount of photos and useful information
e-tailers provide, doesn't help that situation.
If the original is still available and you're deciding between that
and the Ideal, I would actually call it a personal decision more
than a matter of quality. For lightweight things like airport use,
the one-handed operation of the original MC could be more useful.
If you're planning on using it harder, or to carry more weight, or
(like me) as a compromise between the strength (and weight and
price) tradeoff of the Elite vs the original Magna Cart, I'd
recommend the Ideal over the original.
If you're deciding between the Elite 2 and its little sibling the
Ideal, the choice is easier as they are more differentiated.
Despite being twice the price, the Elite 2 is simply an amazingly
strong, innovative, small, and low-cost solution. It is up to some
pretty serious heavy lifting, up to what most people would normally
throw at a hand truck. It's not a professional mover's hand truck,
and it's not designed to be. But considering its portability, it's
amazing. The larger wheels of the Elite 2 make it easier to go up
steps, but there's no 'stair climber' feature which heavy duty
trucks often have, so keep that in mind. The Ideal's and original's
wheels are actually not as small as you'd think--they're nothing
like the extremely small wheels of my Pack'N'Roll, which is another
product you should consider, depending on your needs. Pack'N'Roll
is great for loose stuff like grocery bags, but basically useless
for carrying boxes and large shrinkwrapped items, which is what my
purposes were. Actually, the wider stance of the Elite 2 will make
maneuvering inside your house slightly more difficult, but at the
same time lends confidence and stability when rolling things around
outside. For people who need some extra heavier duty in a folding
cart, which is not most people, the Elite 2 is a great choice. Most
people should do just fine on an Ideal or even original, and most
people will never tax the sturdiness of any of these. I can't say
the same at all of a Pack'N'Roll (lol). My Pack'N'Roll is extremely
flimsy feeling compared to the 'confident' and comparitively heavy
Magna Cart Ideal, which is impressive not only in design, but in
manufacture. I would say the Pack'N'Roll is only impressive in
design! lol. Then again, the Pack'N'Roll is half the weight, and is
a true featherweight, where the Ideal and original were actually
heavier than expected after what I read and saw online.
I'm considering drilling 2 holes in the bar of the ideal to give
myself to height options. I think this is the only thing actually
lacking, and I'm pretty nit-picky in reviews. Contrary to the
original reviewer, who seemed to associate 'quality' with Chinese
goods, I think most people out there would beg to differ. This guy
is made in China, and I would characterize the quality as an
exception to the rule. Something this quality shouldn't really be
available at a price this low. Low-priced, quality but imported
goods are nice on one end, but long-term destructive to our
country; it's like eating your seed corn. The 'little guy' has no
control over this, the decisions have already been made, and as
long as we are essentially forced to buy Chinese-made products,
this is a good one.
The founder of Welcom wrote an actually interesting and insightful
review of his own product, in the original Magna Cart review; it's
worth a read if you can find it. He is an American and a very
innovative guy. Even with slave labor and
dictatorship/totalitarianism, I don't know how he gets us such
great products at such low prices. The innovation obviously
continues on this product, as he combines the strengths and learned
lessons of the Elite 2, into a product the size of the original
Magna Cart. Well done. Original Magna Cart:

(More customer reviews)This cart is a
workhorse. It handles every job beautifully. I've loaded it,
alternately, with wood, rocks, grandchildren and various
combinations of farm chore equipment depending on the situation. I
may pull it manually with the handle or haul it behind the garden
tractor (note the 'bump' on the handle--that's important. The
hand-pull handle can easily be detached so the wagon can be hooked
up behind the tractor).
It is a heavyweight cart and large for a wagon, but not as wide or
awkward as a cart intended only to be pulled behind a tractor, so
it fits easily through gates and on woodland trails as well as in
tight places around the yard. If I have to maneuver the tractor in
a tight place that requires backing (at which I'm not very good
with a trailer attached), I greatly appreciate the four-wheel
stability, which allows me to detach it from the tractor, get
turned around and hook it back up. It's easy and fast.
The sides can all be dropped down to make a flatbed unit or drop
just one side to accommodate unusual loads. It is very versatile
and can take a lot of rough use. It's served me well for over a
year with no signs of fatigue, and I expect it will last for quite
some time. This is a very study wagon and has been a great addition
to the farm and garden.

(More customer reviews)I bought this cart
because I am a percussionist playing with a number of ensembles,
and it's been a real pain (literally) to move all my equipment
piecemeal.Just last night I used this cart for the first time, and
it's absolutely priceless!
I had a fair amount of gear -- 3 snare drums (one 14x5", one
14x6.5", and one 14x10", all in hard cases), stands for all snares,
an old Vic Firth stick box loaded completely full with mallets and
accessories, a briefcase with timpani mallets, another stick bag, a
bag with 8 cymbals, suspended cymbal stands, music folders &
music, etc.I simply extended this cart to about 42" in length,
tightened the locking screws, and loaded it from one end to the
other and almost up to the top of the support-ends.And then I
rolled it about 3 city blocks from where I could park to where I
was to play. Then did the same in reverse on the way back --
amazingly easy and effective transport.
As you can tell from the graphic on this page, this cart folds into
multiple positions for different moving jobs. What I'm most
impressed by is how small it can fold down to to fit in the trunk
of my car along with much of my gear.Probably the most ingenious
feature is the ability to fold the two end rails completely flat --
one seats about 3/4" lower than the other, so they do not catch
upon one another but both lie completely flat! The rails fold down
with a simple pull of the coated-steel cable on each end.VERY
simple to operate.
The wheels are incredibly sturdy (the front two casters even have
brakes!) and appear to be fit for many years of heavy service. The
rear wheels actually have inflatable tires to handle the heavy
loads.Another feature worth mentioning is the undercarriage, which
works as a "stair climber" if you're moving gear up the
stairs!Brilliant design!
The only thing that was at all problematic was that in a frame this
portable, it's difficult to provide much protection against
"torsion" if, say, you're rolling down an uneven sidewalk or warped
pavement -- the cart does tend to list to the sides in these
areas. Also, if you need to make sharp turns, holding onto the rear
end rail to steer is a bit difficult, for the same build reasons. If
you're moving a heavy load alone, you really need to keep the cart
set to a reasonable length so that you can push and steer from the
sides, holding both end rails simultaneously.
However, if you've got a spare helper who can grab the front end
and help steer, you have none of these problems, and even if you
don't, it's not as bad as it sounds -- you just need some decent
upper-body strength and keep the load reasonable.I had the length
extended to 42", and I could steer from the side going in, and I
found someone to help me move the cart back to my car on the way
out, and that was VERY easy moving.
I'm absolutely in love with this cart, and it will follow me on
MANY gigs to come, I assure you!Money EXTREMELY well spent --
better to spend it on a "helper-cart" than on physical therapy for
strained back muscles.Plus, it saved me an ENORMOUS amount of time
last night -- and time is money. If you do gigging like I do, I
can't recommend this cart highly enough.FIVE STARS!!!

Earthway 2030PI-plus. for use to salt sidewalks
We assembled them and we put grass seed in one.Started across the
lot spreading seed and the spinner quit working. We emptied it and
found that the drive axle had a fold in it to make a crude gear. The
gear part of the vertical shaft that turns the spinner slide to one
side dislodging it from the axle drive shaft.
We slid it back over and put seed in it and off we went. We stopped
and turned a round and opened the slide to let seed out and nothing
came out.Brand new out of the box and only grass seed not chemicals
or salt. The cable pulled out of the slide at the spinner. So we put
it back on the truck and used a very old Scotts spreader ($20.00)to
finish.
We have not yet spread salt with them....
These changes we have made.
We drilled the axle and placed cotter keys in both sides to prevent
the spinner unit from sliding off the gear
We took the cable off the spinner and taped the outer sleave and
reclamped the cable to the spinner.Hope these actions make the unit

strength. All the indicator lights came on to show a full charge. It

I am amazed that anyone would sell a 1 inch drive, multiple socket

(More customer reviews)I was trying to
build one out of old scooter parts when I happed across the adfour
years ago.I was about to spend more than the 350 on parts- so I
ditched and purchased Neuton.Easily the finest piece of machinery
I've owned. For four years i have abused it with too many rocks and
concrete sacks - more than 200 pounds - maybe closer to 300 - up
steep grades. Every day - I've built walls and hauled everything
heavy. I broke the rims on the tires and replaced them. But I am sad
to say that I finally did it - today i killed it - the right wheel
sounds like a squirrel is trapped - chatters and stalls - I finally
stripped the gears hauling boulders.Even without the motor, it's an
amazing stable platform that pushes easier than a wheel barrow
because you don't lift it, but I have to have the power. It's better
than having a back surgeon
So I am buying a new one... and maybe I'll be more careful - but
probably not - this thing is a beast and worthevery penny.Today I
autopsied it and was really impressed with craftsmanship. The gears
were gone.
Pros - like having a helper that always shows up on time and works.
It hauls with amazing stamina. The battery is great - never had it
go down on me.The craftmanship makes you proud to buy american - if
Neutron ever builds an electric car - put me down for one. The
phone support is really good - friendly folks who have pride.
Cons - never found a reason for reverse on a wheelbarrow - or two
speeds. The charger is flaky sometimes, and I've had to rewire the
ignition when I left it out in the rain too many times. I wish they
sold parts in my area.

(More customer reviews)I'm a carpenter,
and in my opinion, this is the best tool storage box for hand tools
on the market. You can load it up and it can take a lot of
abuse. The top tray provides plenty of storage for those small,
miscellanious items like stair guages or router bits.little
items. The middle tray is great for longer, deeper items like
drill/driver bit kits, etc.The roomy bottom easily will hold your
tool belt, hammers and small power tools. They keep your tools nice
and dry and can be used as a stable platform on which to stand (be
sure to close the locking handles).Their only weakness are the
plastic locking handles which may crack after awhile. My first box
had this problem after about five years of serious use.I still use
it but transferring the box from the truck to the job is a pain if
you can't lock the top. That's why I bought this one.
These used to be carried by Sears and cost about $20 less.It
appears Klein has purchased the rights, changed the color and
stamped their name on the box.You pay a bit of a premium for this
privaledge, but it's the exact same box of old.
As I learned, the Amazon supplier, KTOOLCONNECTION, has no control
over the item's costs.I withdrew my seller feedback upon learning
this and have not been able to re-write a positive versus neutral
review for them.On their behalf, I will say the delivery was
immediate (24 hours) and well packaged. My complaint related to the
price as I mentioned.I was willing to pay the additional costs
because it is a great box.

begin activation, hold down both buttons on the transmitter for
five seconds until the two-color LED turns green. This indicates

down the power-in or power-out buttons, and the LED will turn red,
