(More customer reviews)I purchased two.Be prepared to receive little for your money.The KitchenAid warming drawer is basically just a metal box with a heating element at the bottom and a crude, sheet-metal drawer above.They feel a little flimsy.The drawer flexes when you pull it open.This is not what I expected for about $1000 each.

Judging by the two I received, evidently KitchenAid's quality control is less than perfect.On one of my warming drawers, the drawer wasn't level with its chassis.One side of the drawer was 1/4 inch lower than the other (making it look as if it was installed at an angle).For a product at this price level, one would think they would catch problems like this before the product leaves the factory.

I called KitchenAid after correcting the tilted drawer myself.What an annoying experience.First you "talk" with their automated system.When asked what product I was calling about, I repeatedly said, "warming drawer," until I realized that they hadn't bothered to program "warming drawer" into the system.What fun!Talking to a representative wasn't much better.It would have been nice if they offered something for my trouble --- even just a few dollars off a future purchase would have been a nice gesture.But no.All I got was attitude and excuses.

(More customer reviews)I've had this refrigerator/cooler (although when I bought it it was advertised as a refrigerator) for about a year. It's more of a cooler only...leave out refrigerator. It doesn't keep things cold at all just cool (believe me there's a big difference). I wouldn't recommend putting any perishable food in it...doesn't keep it cold enough. I just use it for water only...it won't even keep your beer cold enough. It is quiet and requires no care and it's inexpensive to run, but, spend the extra $10.00 bucks and buy a true refrigerator..

(More customer reviews)This oven totally exceeded my expectations (there were no reviews online when I bought it and I couldn't find the model in stores.) Beautiful, easy to use, easy to clean (top is black by the way, not stainless steel, which you can't tell from the image). However, it looks good. OK it does have that silly "Chicken Nuggets" button on it (please leave me my illusions that I'll be doing something more glamorous than heating up the nuggets, even if that does happen occasionally!). It's a mixture of shiny handles and stainless steel, which matches other appliances well, no finger prints, continuous grate on top, great heating/cooking etc., warming drawer, bottom oven rack that slides out when you open door, etc. No complaints. (Oh, except I had to buy the broiler pan separately. No biggie.)

1.This KitchenAid cooling fan starts blowing as soon as the oven is turned on, and runs until the oven is turned off, or the convection mode cool down completes.
2.This range cooling fan exhaust area is 8" above the floor and 27" long and reaches at least 5.5 feet out from the front of the range.
3.Anyone in the kitchen while this KitchenAid oven is in use, is subject to a "breeze" on lower legs and feet.
4.The KitchenAid fan exhaust breeze may not be as aggravating in cooler weather, but possibly will be a major issue in warmer weather.
5.Based on friends with competitor ranges, this KitchenAid cooling fan is louder, more annoying, and distracting than those models. We had to increase the volume of the TV in the kitchen to compensate for the fan noise.

After using the oven just once, we told the dealer that we wanted to exchange it for a different manufacturers' range.We would not recommend that this KitchenAid model be considered.

KITCHENAID RANGE CONTROL PANEL
1.This KitchenAid control panel design is awkward and inconvenient. The front panel is tilted at a shallow angle, close to vertical. This makes the panel more difficult to observe and operate when cooking at the range top or using the oven. In order to adequately observe and correctly use the control panel, you have to stand back from the range or bend down/crouch down each time.
2.This KitchenAid control panel is located directly above the oven door. With the oven in use, opening the oven door, allows moist, hot air to billow out and up onto the control panel. Moisture condenses on the panel...and drips onto the floor.
3.Yes, you could wipe off the control panel to control condensation every time that you open the oven door, but this increases the opportunity to touch a control point and accidentally modify a setting.
4.A reasonable person could question what effect continual exposure to steam and moisture will have on the useful life of the panel and its electrical components.

POTENTIALSAFETYISSUE - Easy to accidentally turn "on" the controls.
The shallow angle of the KitchenAid control panel (there's that panel issue, again) positions the top cooking element control knobs very close to where you will be leaning when you reach up to an overhead cabinet. It is very easy (critically easy?) to contact the cooking element controls - push one in - and turn the knob into the "high" position with a slight twist of the upper body...and have a burner heating up quickly. We were in the preparation stage (nothing in the oven or on the top cooking elements) when my wife reached into an overhead cabinet for something - turned slightly to the side to place it on the countertop - and accidentally turned on a cooking element. It is frightening to imagine what could have happened to a cooking magazine, cook book, food carton or towel placed on that cooking element had we left the kitchen area for even a short period of time.

(More customer reviews)Not sure if the first reviewer is misdirecting his dissatisfaction. Sounds like the spending of the vacation money was the real problem. Because this machine is perfect, and I have nothing bad to say about it. Other than that it does look a little Spartan, but only in a minor way.

It brews an wonderfull espresso, with thick, golden, foamy crema. It brews it absolutely perfectly, and consistently everytime. Overall the functionality of this machine is superb, and very customizable. Each button can be programmed to YOUR specifications, so easily a monkey could do it. The cup warmer is genious, the clean-up is easier than ANY drip maker I have used/owned. Overall the machine is also very quiet.

The 'Foofy' drinks (as I like to call them) are top notch! My wife prefers the lattes, Chai teas,etc. The frother on this machine has it's own dedicated thermoblock boiler, so there is no lag time, and the froth is excellent. Micro-bubbles as good as any Barista. Water filtering system is great, easy to activate, grinds, tamps beans which is excellent. Also has a chute for already ground coffee, good for Decaf, or flavored.

I guess you could complain about the plastic on the outside, but this does not bother me at all. and frankly seems easier to keep clean, which is a concern since milk etc splatters on the machine when you froth. Also keeps the machine lighter and enables you to move it without breaking your neck.

The ONLY difference between this machine and the S9A is the following:

Exterior look, S7A has black accents, S9A has the same plastic accents, but in silver.

S9A comes with the Frother X-Press, which quite honestly is useless unless you are entertaining and brewing several milk drinks at once. Anyway, frothing in the cup is fun.

The cup warmer on the S9A has stainless tray, whereas the S7A is plastic.

Otherwise, the functionality and insides of the machines is the same. And this is where both of these machines shine, on their functionality. They brew excellent, hot, delicious, rich, coffee in less than 60 seconds. They are tried and true, well-reviewed models.

If you are in the market, don't think twice about a Jura, the quality is fantastic, and end result brew is second to only a Semi-Auto.

I was looking for range I could use for cooking and baking for about 6 months now. I bought Samsung FTQ387LWGX and I am very pleased with it. I came to US from Europe and I was not able to get range that makes sense for some time and my old 70's GE was falling apart. Let's cut down to the chase and list what it is that makes this Samsung FTQ387LWGX so special.

1.2 single stage regular cooking elements for regular simmering.
2.1 double stage element heating up very fast like for boiling water.
3.1 triple stage element for cooking on big pots or oversized frying pan
4.Warming element for keeping mashed potatoes or gravy hot.
5.Top cooking elements come on full blast in about 15 seconds.
6.knobs are solid heavy cast metal, not some plastic replica
7.digi display for over is true touch with hard Lexan cover screen, not some ziplock joke soft plastic membrane like many others.
8.convection bake for bread that works like good old Italian pizza oven
9.proof for rising bread
10.convection roast for meat and poultry that works like rotisserie
11.regular bake traditional with hidden element for close container baking
12.broil for top meat top sizzle and Brie / Camembert over bread melting

I was looking at Electrolux and Bosch, both nice units, and decided after close examination that Electrolux is too much of the Star Trek with potential problem if main board gets zapped and Bosch is too much of the plastic (so disappointed as I like the brand). I do use kitchen range to make my meal, not to just impress my friends. Never the less, SamsungFTQ387LWGX willstill let you impress your friends, as it blends with GE and many others. If you are on the market for a range that will look certain way but you are only interested in boiling eggs and reheating baked beans, then this is not for you. Not a big deal, we all have our preferences. However if you are one of those people like me who need decent, heavy-duty, working and hi-tech range for preparing professionally seasoned tasty meal for one or sometimes fancy dinner for six, then you may want to have a look at this unit, just watch model "FTQ387LWGX". Samsung as manufacturer makes four varieties of these now, some budget, and to get all the goodies as specified, you need to trace this model to the letter.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this hot dog roller, and had to return it immediately.The pieces were very cheap, and the rod that inserts in to the geared hole to allow the motor to spin the rollers was not close enough, so the rollers would not spin when turned on.After fooling around with the appliance for 30 minutes while my kids anxiously awaited a cooked hot dog, I finally gave up, reboxed it and cooked them in a pan on the stove!
() ===<-- That rod needed to insert in to that hole for the machine to work.The rod when the roller tray is laid down, is about 1/8 of an inch outside that hole and would not insert unless I modified the machine with pliers and a screwdriver.I would recommend a more expensive machine!

The only reason I docked it a star was because of the price.It is beautiful, but don't get it from the PartyLite catalog, because it'll cost you $130 + shipping, which is just ridiculous.Try to get it here or on eBay for under $50.

(More customer reviews)I upgraded from a very cheap little steam-only machine with no pump, and the cafe chic certainly makes better espresso than that. The company claims that Cafe Chic is easy to clean, and they are telling the truth- the bad news is that as messy as this machine is, it has to be easy to clean or you'd never get to enjoy the products of your labors. As soon as I turn on the steam function, steam also comes out of the espresso maker, which has a very ineffective seal and leaks badly- I constantly have soggy coffegrounds all over everything. The steamer itself is nice, it does a good job in relatively little time, but it's in a very bad place. The steamer is off to the side, and very low, so it's difficult to get the steamed milk out without spillage. In the picture, the steamer actually looks usable, but the picture is NOT accurate- point in fact, the picture includes 2 espresso shot cups, which are not included. The espresso maker comes with a micro-filter that also has problems, your grounds don't drain, so the best of your espresso just sits there...Bottom line- it makes decent espresso, or as good as it can get while using a mere 15 bars of pressure, at an inexpensive price, but you get what you pay for. If you can, save up a little extra and go for something pricier- it'll be worth it. Wish I had...

1) It's only 118" in diameter, meaning that it will NOT actually hang over and grip to the top ring and side walls of the pool...this is very different from good pool covers that that are oversized and create a good seal and grip.What's funny is that the instructions with this cover state that the sides must overhang the pool!

2) This cover has manufactured holes in it about the size of half-dollar coins...for those of you that have had a pool cover, you know that is not necessarily a good thing.

3) Finally, this cover comes across as cheap, blue-dyed bubble wrap. It is not a material specifically designed to trap solar energy to heat the water below.
