(More customer reviews)I am starting to potty train my daughter, and plan to line the floor under her potty (in the living room - in front of her potty-training DVD's) with waterproof blankets.I already have an older one from years ago, and was looking to have another in "rotation" for when the original blanket was washing.This blanket doesn't even come close to the quality of the original blanket I have.The blanket I have is very thin polyester material, almost like a flannel, with a PVC-coated backing that feels "rubbery" and is very sturdy.Even though my original blanket says "hand wash", I have washed it many times in the washer on delicate and it comes out like new.THIS blanket's backing, on the other hand, is not at all "rubbery" feeling; it's more crinkly and almost like a plastic bag from Wal-mart.It would NEVER make it through a machine washing and would get ripped to shreds; I can't even believe it would survive too long outside if it was used as a picnic blanket (surely small stones & twigs would rip it easily).Furthermore, the colors in the plaid are SO much louder and more obnoxious than they look in this picture.As soon as I opened the box, I said "ICK".Because I think it will cost almost as much to send it back as I paid for it, I thought about keeping it, but everytime I look at this blanket, I get annoyed.I'm returning it to Amazon and ordering the "Waterproof Picnic Blanket" from Turfer Sport instead, which sounds more like my old blanket and has excellent reviews (even though that blanket does not have free shipping offered).

(More customer reviews)We use cloth training pants most of the time with our 22 month old, but have found these useful for naps and bedtime or if we are on an outing.(easier to change if an accident were to occur)The tear away sides helped with changing accidents and if you realized that she didn't have one, you can put them back on, no waste.The feel wet liner has helped my daughter recognize immediately when she has had an accident.In the early potty training days the characters were a motivater as well.She needed to keep Cinderella dry.Good product.

(More customer reviews)These things are great!My 2 1/2 year old is pretty much 100% potty trained during the day, but at night, he pees like a fountain during his sleep!The regular Huggies Pull-ups and the Pampers Easy-ups would leak every single night.I'd have to wash the sheets EVERY DAY.And sometimes he's wake up in the middle of the night screaming "Help me!All wet!!" and I'd have to change the sheets & his pull-up during the night.But I did not want to put him back in regular diapers at night.

Finally, I saw this new product and ordered immediately.I'm glad I did, because we have not had any leaks at all since we've been using these for overnights.My son loves the Buzz lightyear design and he can easily take them off himself in the morning.Best of all, I no longer have to wash the sheets every day, or change wet clothing anymore because his clothes & the sheets stay dry ALL night.

These are extremely absorbant.Somebody has needed to make this product for a long time!Way to go Huggies!!!

As a previous buyer said, I keep the lysol wipes nearby. When you empty it, it doesn't empty 100%. I always go after with a wipe so as to keep the bathroom from smelling of urine.

For my son, they are the only diapers that work well--no leaking ever, while Pampers were a sieve for him and were driving us crazy. We also had problems with other brands. However, I know other parents with the opposite problem--Pampers work well while Huggies leak. It's all just based on the shape of your particular child. I apparently have a Huggies child and nothing else will do. He is very slender and maybe that's why. Maybe Pampers are better for stockier kids. I don't know. Anyway, just wanted to throw in my two cents about Huggies since they are the wonder diaper for us.

I ordered two so that when there are accidents I can throw one in the wash and easily replace it with the other one quite quickly.My daughter has eczema and allergies; however, this product has not bothered her one bit, it's quite soft to the touch.The backing is lined and we haven't had any accidents that pad didn't absorb (it's quite large on her twin bed).The pad stays in place well, but we do have to tuck it in a little bit each night to ensure a tight fit (no biggie).I would recommend it to anyone that has accidents while sleeping... I think this would also be great if you have a little one in diapers who leaks.Thank goodness we no longer have to replace all the sheets when she has an accident.I highly recomment this product!

(More customer reviews)Oh, the joys of potty training.... Giving birth was easier than toilet training my boy. I won't go into woes, suffice to say, my freakishly stubborn child is trained during the day. Now, if I can get him to stay dry at the night, I'll be a happy camper. This product has changed over the years, and in my opinion, it's better today. To be clear, I am reviewing the Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants with Learning Designs. The reason I specify that is because Kimberly-Clark is distributing a new product called Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants with Wetness Liner. I'm not certain that pull-ups actually facilitate potty training, although there's no question that these pants helped to reduce my need for Extra-Strength Tylenol.

I think the reason why pull-ups in general don't encourage toilet training is mostly due to the absorbency. They don't allow children to feel wet, so why would they be persuaded to use the potty. It's just like a glorified diaper that pulls up. After 3-months of trying to train my son with big-boy underwear, and trainers I finally gave into pull-ups.My son thinks these are cool because he can pull them up, and down by himself.

We had several nighttime disasters, so I picked up a box of Pampers Easy-Ups. They are more absorbent than the Huggies brand; however, the tare-away sides annoy me. When Procter & Gamble introduced the Feel 'n Learn Advanced Trainers I was encouraged, but they were disappointing as well. Therefore, I went back to Huggies, and today they are my brand of choice. We only use these at night now, and I've learned to limit my son's liquid intake at night. If William's had an excessive amount of water throughout the day I either double up, or wake him up during the night and have him use the toilet, otherwise I'll wake up to a soggy bed.

Do the learning designs work? Yes, in fact, they do fade when wet, but I think the front indicators are insignificant. On the other hand, children aren't in the habit of looking down at their crotch. Therefore, unless their shorts are off, they're not aware the designs have faded unless they're told. With the introduction of the star designs on the inside of the pants, my son is able to see them, and he knows if they fade. He'll tell me in the morning that all his stars are gone. The Toy Story learning designs used to feature glow-in-the-dark indicators, and my son loved to dance around, and see the planets move before he doned his jammies. He misses the glow-in-the-dark planets.

I think my son had too many life adjustments when I first started training, which slowed his progress. Ultimately real underwear, potty incentive, and lots of patience trained my boy. The Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants with Learning Designs certainly made my life easier, although I don't think they support toilet training per se.
