Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 Stroller Review

PegPeregoAriaTwin60/40Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
-Test Engineer Report-
Design flaw in brake system: When the stroller is fully loaded with 2 babies, and all four rear wheel brake gear teeth are not perfectly aligned to the locking pins, the brake locking mechanism will not engage/extend to the lock position, no matter how hard the user pulls on the brake cable. When this condition intermittently occurs, the user must lift all four rear wheels off the ground while pulling on the brake cable to allow the four rear wheels to rotate freely and independently of each other, simultaneously aligning each of the rear wheels gear teeth to the locking pins, which allows the brake mechanism to engage/extend to the lock position.Lifting all four rear wheels off the ground {while preventing the front wheels from rolling} is unacceptable for users that are not able to lift the weight of a fully loaded stroller, which is the weight of the stroller itself plus the weight of two babies plus the weight of any items in the cargo basket and diaper bags/items that are attached to the handle bars.

Zooper Boogie All Terrain Baby Stroller - Color: Silver Review

ZooperBoogieAllTerrainBabyStroller-Color:Silver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My son has loved this stroller from day one. We just took him to disneyland for the weekend (he is four months old), and he never complained about being in it, he even slept in it one night for about 7 hours! It is very plush and smooth and I LOVE that the front wheel can swivel or stay put. And the handle is adjustable which is great since my husband is so much taller then I am. It is simple to manuver. Has all accesories you coulde eveer need (except the cup holder which doesn't bother me).The part that I don't like about this is the weight, over 30 lbs! It is difficult to get up into the back of our suv, and takes up a ton of room (it's a good thing we got the suv and sold my sentra). It barely fits in my sisters car truck, and only does so while scraching the bumper in the process! It has also taken my husband and I a few months to get the hang of opening and closing it smoothly. The basket is all but impossible to access if the seat is reclined. If it weren't for the fact that my son LOVES this stroller and that I do to once it is out of the car and opened up, I would take it back. But I am keeping it for those days when I know we are going to be gone all day and I want Myles to be comfortable. For other shorter days, I am getting a lightweight stroller that I can just throw in and go. So if weight and space are not an issue for you, I would definitly reccommend this stroller! (I also love the fact that I never see anyone else with it, but always get compliments on it because it is so unique and different)

Safety 1st Travel System - Clemson Review

Like most products sold today, planned obsolescence is the key.Wheels, frame all show signs of early wear and tear.Hey, they don't make
'em like they used to!However, this is a safe, versatile stroller/car seat combo does the job. Like a fine race car, it doesn't respond well at low speeds.Nervous parents need to overcome the urge to start slow, as the wheels won't follow your lead.Go ahead, give it a push! There is plenty of room for packages and accessories and it is well balanced.Don't lose the manual, and register the product so that you are updated with any safety recalls.

Trendsport Lite Stroller Review

TrendsportLiteStroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
[...]
Trendsport lite is TRULY my favorite! Let me tell you why.

I have a really bad back and this stroller has changed my life. Although my Bugaboo is very light (about 14 pounds) there's nothing like this one (which is about 10 pounds). This stroller is SO easy. With one hand it EASILY folds and is so light for me to pick up and put in my trunk. This stroller has a snack tray to hold food and a parents tray to hold drinks, keys, cell phone etc. I also bought a mesh bag that I've hung from the handles (which I also love, there's nothing like one handed steering) to hold all my extra's. The basket is HUGE and believe me I load it up to the hilt. I also purchased for $10 an insulated cup and snack holder that straps on with velcro to the side of the stroller and that holds my son's cups really well and is in easy reach for him (got that at onestepahead.com). The breaks work great, the seat reclines, the canopy works great and it steers with perfection. Now, I don't want to steer you wrong - this stroller IS $40.00 so going on rough terrain like my isn't going to happen and is the seat plush - no it isn't I. My only complaint about this stroller is the seating position - it has two - reclining which is perfect and upright which is just a tad bit too upright - but works regardless (it's a slight mistep in an otherwise perfect body). On an every day basis THIS is my stroller of choice. This is the one that I use day in and day out and I have not had one problem whatsoever.

Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller - Black/Black Review

BabyJoggerCityEliteDoubleStroller-Black/Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
What a wonderful stroller! Everyone told me there is no perfect double stroller, but I think I have one pretty close to it. After months of research, I decided on the Baby Jogger City Elite because of the many reviews I read on how it's the easiest stroller to collapse and how it will fit through all doorways. Both are true!Collapsing this stroller is a 1 step process and SUPER easy. Most double strollers I tried took 2-3 steps to collapse and sometimes even required removing the tires. No thanks!I also love how easy it is to maneuver through mall stores. It's one of the more narrow strollers, so I'm able to get through clothing racks with no problem.Plus, it's a cinch to push!

The "City Elite" model is a stylish stroller, and I love it's curved, double shades and all black fabric.I read for a double stroller it's important to have 4 wheels to maintain balance (unless you are a jogger), so I'm happy with the 2 front tires. It's a sturdy stroller and my daughters are extremely comfortable in it.

I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone!

Eddie Bauer Tandem Montecito Stroller Review

EddieBauerTandemMontecitoStroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just purchased this stroller from Target and it was a snap to put together and folds down to a compact unit. It seems to be a very smart design-enough room for two kids but not the hulking masses that other tandem strollers can be; it manuevers well and even finds room for small storage beneath (though that could be a tad bigger) with side-access zippers and nifty storage in the hood.

It comes with a nice cup holder for the front child, but does not come with a snack tray or parent's cup as the add above appears to state (the box and instructions do not claim that these items are included). So, there are no cup holders offered for the parent or rear child, and watch out for the after-market add ons because the cross beams are thick and the one I just purchased can't reach around the beam (we'll have to buy larger screws).

In addition, the rear seat reclines, but does not pull forward to a very straight position, and I'm afraid that the front seat does not recline at all.

All in all though, this stroller fits the ticket more than any other I've found thus far-we don't use strollers often so I've been looking for a stroller easy enough to carry around in the back of my trunk and light enough to take with us on an all-day event that can accomodate both kids, should they both happen to want to sit at the same time.

Maclaren MX3 Stroller- Crimson Red(A122021) Review

MaclarenMX3Stroller-CrimsonRed(A122021)
Average Reviews:

I researched a lot for strollers before I bought one, and I don't know if my prefered stroller yet exists, but this one has brought disappointment.I particularly dislike the basket set up.It is too difficult to access. Also, the wheels are better than cheaper stollers, but I wish they were rubber rather than plastic, because it doesn't take the bumps as smoothly as I would like.I do like how easily it folds, though not as compactly as I had hoped--it won't fit well into my sedan's trunk.I love the handle and the way I can put my son in any weather and not worry about him getting wet or cold. Most days I absolutely love it-as long as I don't need to bring a drink or any bags.

Peg Perego 2006 Pliko P3 Classico MT Stroller Pattern: Toffee Review

PegPerego2006PlikoP3ClassicoMTStrollerPattern:Toffee
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
read wonderful reviews about this stroller and bought one. well the pros are yes you can reach the small basket underneath the seat while the seat is reclined (which it has to be to use the carrier for babies), but you have to access it from the front. the handles feel really cheap and wiggle in the bar (they are adjustable). the real down side to this stroller is when you sit the seat in the stroller. you have these two d ring things sticking out of the base of the seat that you have to snap the carrier onto. well you can line them up and go for it but believe me you miss more often than not and it takes a few tries before you can attach it. if the baby is sleeping this might just wake them up. at first i thought it was me but all my friends and husband have trouble, it is not a good system. then there are minor problems like the brake has to be lined up with the spokes or it wont lock ALL THE WAY, only it locks part way and you dont know that it is not locked all the way and i am sure you see the problem here. the pros are i used the harness with my nephew and i liked how they can lean front and explore but are still secure. it closes pretty easy and opens in a snap. there are many problems with the car seat that goes with it. i know you have to buy it separately but if you plan on using a carrier with this stroller you want the peg perego. attaching another carrier with thier system for attaching other carriers is scary. it is not really safe looking. the carriers fabric started to fray and as for the hood, you put it up and it slides right back down. it does not keep the sun or wind out of her face. it does not stay up at all. try this feature before spending the $250 on it. the stroller has a wonderful hood that closes all the way so i guess that works when the carrier is on the stroller.
i get a lot of compliments on the look and NAME of the stroller but just pushing it and feeling the extended handles wobble, and seeing the frayed seat and the hood that wont stay up, well i see $600 of plastic and wonder if my old graco that i kept kicking the wheel bar (me and my husband are both very tall) was all that bad.

Ergo Carrier Hawaiian Review

ErgoCarrierHawaiian
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love the Hawaiian print on this ERGO carrier! It is so much more interesting than the solid colors they usually provide. The ERGO has been a lifesaver for getting the baby in and out of the house, and for taking him... everywhere!I've carried my 20+ lb. baby for 2 hours at a time in the front carrying position with no back issues.I occasionally put him on my back and it is even more comfortable that way.It is a little harder to get him in and out of the back position compared to the front so I still use the front position more.I use it even if traveling 20 ft. from the front door to the car. It's so easy to strap him in since then I have both arms free to grab the diaper bag, lock the door, unlock the car, etc. and then pop him out of the carrier and into the carseat.I leave the waist strap on while I drive and then when I reach my destination, I can strap him back in and head out without any worries. He loves riding in the ERGO and he is a very high-energy baby!It took one or two times to get used to it for him, but since then he rides for over an hour without any fussing. And it's so much easier to get around than pushing a stroller. The lumbar/waist support is key and NEVER buy a baby carrier without that waist strap...it would kill your shoulders if all the weight of the baby was on those two shoulder straps.
I used a Moby carrier when my son was only a little newborn and then switched to the ERGO when he got bigger.I highly recommend this combination.Although the ERGO has an "infant insert" that you can buy, I am not fond of it.

Product Description:
The ERGO Baby Carrier's ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs. The ERGO also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent. In infancy, The ERGO with the Infant Insert (sold separately), supports your newborn like a baby sling while having both hands free to work. It can be worn on the front, back or hip position. Features: Recommended use from newborn (with additional Infant Insert sold separately) up to 40 lbs Can be worn on front, back or hip and easily shifted from one to the other. Comes with detailed, illustrated instructions. Adjusts for most sizes, waist circumference extends from 25 up to 43. Attached Sleeping Hood supports sleeping baby's head and expands with the growth of your child. Padded waist belt supports the lumbar area plus 1 thick padding in the shoulder straps. Provides continued support when a baby sling or other front carriers are no longer comfortable. Allows for freedom of movement because the parent and baby are like one. Convenient pocket on back of carrier with side zipper for easy access. 100% cotton canvas outside and 100% cotton poplin lining and hood. More secure than a hard-frame for baby hiking and walking.

Graco IPO Deluxe Stroller, Gemma Review

GracoIPODeluxeStroller,Gemma
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This stroller ended my very extensive, very picky stroller search.I was mentally prepared to spend 200+ for a nice, convenient stroller and was shocked to find everything I wanted in this model.I went to a local store that had them all in order to give them a hands on try.I investigated all the top brands - maclaren, peg perego, combi, etc.I held them up side by side. This is what I love about this one...
The easy of handling it is amazing - much better than the Combi (doesn't turn so easy).I can steer this stroller with one hand easily. The handles are comfy and a perfect height. They are higher than the standard (too low for anyone) stroller handles, but not too high for me (5ft4).Hubby is taller and they seem comfy for him too.
It reclines any way you want it.My 3 month old is more than comfortable in this stroller.I can recline it flat for diaper changes, just a little for him to see everything, or lay it back most of the way for naps.So many options.I had my 6 year old sit in it to make sure that it would hold in a fully upright position with an older child and it did great with her.I checked this because some reviewers seemed to have problems with this.
It has a flap that is sewn to the canopy. This flap wraps back behind the stroller. It keeps the sun from coming into the stroller from behind and still covers when reclined all the way back.It also has two nice deep pockets sewn into the flap that face out toward mommy.I love this.I can put my wallet, keys, and phone in there and have them all handy.I can't see it in the picture here, but mine has a nice, deep cup holder attached to the side - perfect for a water bottle. The basket can fit a large diaper bag if you put it in before you recline the back down too far. This isn't a problem because I can put the things I need at my fingertips in the back pockets of the flaps.
There is a five point harness and padded seat. The bottom edge of the seat can lay flat out for little ones or you can press two buttons and make the edge folds down for toddlers whose legs will hang over the edge.It seems like it would make sitting more comfy for an older child.
The best thing is the size.I have a small minivan and this stroller folds like an umbrella stroller typically does.It can go under kiddos feet if necessary and doesn't take up half my van like some models.
I purchased the Vegas patter and it is so cute - brown and tan.I am very happy with this purchase.

Baby Jogger City Classic Double Stroller Review

After buying 2 different double strollers and being MORE than unhappy with them, my husband and I finally gave in and spent the money on the Baby Jogger Classic double stroller. It's fabulous and worth every penny! I have a 3 1/2 yr old and 8 mo old and they both fit perfectly and happily in their stroller. I'm not a jogger but want that sporty look so this stroller is absolutely fantastic for me. It fits through door ways without needing to remove my boys. They can sit up or recline depending on their moods. No more using the sun shade for the baby when the toddler doesn't need it, they have their own. That's key in keeping little ones happy. I wish the basket was bigger but 9 out of 10 things isn't bad!!I will admit it's a little heavy to lift into my car but no pain no gain. I love this stroller and wish I would have just bought it before trying to make the inexpensive ones work!! **If you're NOT a jogger I would recommend this stroller over the BOB since they are the same price. My girlfriends all have trouble since it's so much wider!

Micralite Toro Active Stroller Review

MicraliteToroActiveStroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Words can't describe how happy I am that we bought the Toro over other strollers like the Bugaboo. We've discovered with time (our son is now eight months old) just how ideal the Toro has been for us.

Having said that, though, I don't think it's ideal for everyone, and in retrospect we were lucky to get the stroller that best fit our needs: parents who live in a small, city apartment with a tiny elevator, who navigate lots of pubic transportation, and who need to open, close, and store the stroller in any number of places fast and on the go.

PROS:
- Folds flat with nothing in the basket and locks into standing position and stands on it's own that way. Ideal for small spaces, hallways, or public places, like restaurants.
- Easy three-seat position for baby who wants to sit up or lie flat (after four months)
- Can buy attachment for car seats by Graco or another company (forget which one).
- Front wheels are wider and pull in when folding stroller. This allows us to get through narrow openings without taking our child out to fold up the stroller a bit. This has saved us, as our apartment elevator us so narrow no other stroller fits through it (we tried several). The stroller wasn't meant for this, but it works well to partially fold for narrow spaces.
- Hot colors and even hotter animal print liners
- Rides great
- Easy up and down stairs with the inflated tires -- not like a McClaren which is tough on this mom's arms.
- Awesome, awesome, awesome ease of folding (practically one-handed) and getting into/out of cars, etc.

CONS:
- Can't turn seat around to face you (though the carseat attachments are meant for facing you. But the regular seat for older babies is not).
- Handlebar is comfy, but it'd be nice if designed for another way to hold them (from underneath and not just over top)
- You can't put much weight on the back, or stroller tips over. The company is clear about this, but it's still a pain. Having said this, I've never found it to be that big of a deal. It never tips over with the baby in it, even if I have a full diaper bag and several shopping bags hanging there. And when I pull baby out, I make sure that only the diaper bag is hanging on the back and that the seat is lowered to recline, in which case it never tips over empty, either.
- Basket could be better, but it's not bad at all. I have no trouble getting shopping bags, purses, etc. in one side and down into it.
- no parasol attachment. This stinks, because the sun shade is very short. I bought one of those extra long ones to compensate, which doesn't attach well, but it works. I hope the company is working on this.
- The cross bar does not open or detach -- an annoyance when getting baby in or out, but not too big of one. Just a silly design.

Basically, the stroller has been a dream for us. We borrowed a friend's Bugaboo before getting our Toro, and we found it a nightmare to manage in the city and small apartment, especially getting in and out of cars -- ugh! Such a bear to break down each time. The Toro has been ideal for our needs, but I can't say it would be so for everyone. If you have space to store a bigger stroller and don't need to fold it up often, condsider other strollers. However, if you're on the go and need something cruise-y, cool, and easy to handle, this is your stroller.

Last note: If you get this stroller, the absolute best diaper bag is one of Fleurville's narrower bags -- it hooks perfectly onto the handlebars with its O-hooks. You can't cram it full of a million things, but it easily fits two bottles, food, dipes, wipes, formula or small pump, burp cloth and keys, ipod, etc. I have another larger diaper bag for big trips or days out, but this one is perfect for strolling.
