(More customer reviews)I knew this watch was black, however I was unprepared to see how black it really is! All of the hands are black, the dial is black, the only things visible are the numbers and the date window. It is so black that it is nearly impossible to read the time!! Unless you are under bright sunlight or have a flashlight handy, telling the time is a chore. And forget about using the chrono feature to measure time. The chrono hands are hard to see and the subdial markings are downright impossible to read. Aside from that I will say that the watch is nice looking and has a good build. If I were going to a Versace fashion show, this is what I would want to wear. Wearing it anywhere else is just plain ridiculous. This pretentious timepiece is going back to the merchant.

(More customer reviews)Digital or analogue, I have had all kinds of watches in my life. I'm retired military and I'm a diver. After I got this watch, I put my other watches in a drawer. I can easily read it in any light, seconds included.
It stays on time for extended periods, it stands up to abuse well and with the orange glowing index dot I can operate the bezel in total darkness. The one minute clicks on the bezel are also very helpful. It's not fancy but it works great. the tritium dims about ten years out, but that's a small price to pay for the incredible brightness earlier on.

(More customer reviews)Well I finally got my watch today and all I can say is WOW!This is my first real diver and I can truly see why people like these things so much.Fist off it's got a nice size and weight to it, compared to my Invicta Speedy Reserve it's no where as bulky (I wear the speedy when I want to do some light weight training) and just a bit smaller.The case measures about 43mm and the crown sticks out another 5mm plus the unidirectional bezel over hangs the case little over a mm on each side so all together it's about 49mm in width. Height is 15mm and length is about 52mm, the solid SS band is 22mm wide and dose not taper.

I really enjoy the looks of this piece, it's very clean and classic looking.There isn't anything style wise that makes this watch just stand out and for me that's actually a good thing since I live in a crappy crime ridden city.(Say that 5 times real fast.) The red bezel is a nice deep matte cherry color and the face isn't white as described on all the websites.It's more of a light gray and the hands/numbers/markers are light green so they stand out from the background and are easy to read at a glance.The red second hand is nice and I like these on almost any sport watch but the best thing is the friggin' hour/min hands!These things glow like no tomorrow.I wore the watch out of the box for maybe a few minutes in a semi sun lit room and when I went into my storage room to get my tools to size it the hands were just blazing!I haven't tested how long they hold their lume yet but I think it'll be reasonable.

The SS bracelet is attached to the lugs with crews and seems pretty solid with good smoothieness to the inside (yeah... that's a word).So far it hasn't pulled or pinched any hair or skin.There are some polished parts on the watch like the outer edge of the bezel, the crown and two links running down the length of the band but I kinda like it.I also figure once the band starts to show some wear I'll just brush those links to hide it.The only flaw I can find is that there seems to be a small fleck or spot on the inside of the crystal near the 7 marker.It's so small that I can't really tell what it is so I'll try not to obsess about it.Over all it seems well made and for the price I paid I'm happy as a pig without swine flu (Yeah I went there).

(More customer reviews)Right out of the box it just felt cheap and uncomfortable, but we kept the Christmas gift anyway and waited for some summer swimming and scuba diving.Thus the January 31 deadline for returning it came and went.The first time my wife wore this watch in the swimming pool, it came out with moisture inside.Good thing we didn't rely it to time a dive to 100 feet below the surface!

Perhaps this was just a lemon, but honestly I didn't like it even before the leak.It doesn't live up to the picture or the specs.

(More customer reviews)Pros: Tritium -glow is very bright with MB-Microtec technology (note: Smith and Wesson and some other use Tritium technology from Canada and it doesn't compareto MB-Microtec).
Solid construction - Saphyirre glass, and stainless steel case/bezel
Swiss accuracy - compare to atomic clock over 1 week - right on time.
Scratch resistant - I'm a 10 year veteran of this brand and the face will not scratch!!!

Cons: Watch is big and heavy. With PU band it doesn't feel secure.

I replaced the band with a Zulu 4 ring nylon watchband and it looks and feels great!!!

I am a big fan of Luminox having bought the original Navy Seal 3001 about 10 years ago followed by a fancier Ultimate Field Series.I have never had a problem with this brand and I'm rough on my watches. My Original 3001 still is as accurate as day 1 and glows just as brightly as when I first took it out of the box!!

People who know them, pick up on them right away. They are scarce, and hard to get. That is why if you can get one at jeweler retail $7500, you are lucky.

You can be around people who wear Rolexes, and the sophisticated ones notice it right off the get go. Walk into any jewelry store, and the counter people notice it as you walk in. Its a rush.

Did you know that Rolex prohibits sales people from wearing a Daytona in their stores because customers become angry when they notice them, and find out how few of them are allocated to a store. The waiting list goes to their better customers, and can take years to move up.

If you like the watch, bite the bullet,
and buy it. Otherwise you will waste time, and money waiting to find one.

(More customer reviews)True watch lovers need to take a close look at this brand! I don't think there is a more rugged watch out there for the price. The guy who started the company is a former professional surfer and his watches are built to withstand the extraordinary demands of this sport.

I purchased this watch as a gift to myself last Christmas to replace a 20 year-old Seiko whose stem could no longer withstand the constant time changes associated with business travel. It arrive prior to the estimated delivery date and was expertly packaged and encased in a very distinctive presentation "box".

This is my everyday watch and I'm known to be rather rough on my watches. To date, there are only a few minor scratches on the bracelet to report. Perhaps more importantly, I continue to get a kick out of it every time I check the time. It is a large, very heavy watch, yet comfortable. The icing on the cake - you don't see these watches on every other wrist. In short, I love this watch!

It has good water resistance and can be programmed to have two different time zones. However the best part is the back lighting. It illuminates the entire face very well without sacrificing any of the clarity of the watch face; very nice indeed. I highly recommend this affordable device!

(More customer reviews)After 3 unsatisfactory experiences with Invicta watches in the <$300 price range, I decided it was worth posting some feedback about the Immersion Stream watch, which Ive had for a while now. First, it's a very good deal for the $69.99 I paid; I always thought the $250 list price was realistic (Unlike some exaggerated "list" prices). Next, this is the real thing, not just a watch styled like a dive watch; Immersion specializes in dive watches. Timekeeping functions are basic, e.g. only time/date, but IMHO it's the little details that give it style and quality: Screw down crown with a crown protector; effective double locking clasp for the band; the unidirectional rotating bezel has firm click stops; water resistance to 660ft; quality metal finish, and it's a nice touch the way they have the Immersion name in the side of the case. Time keeping is very accurate. It's personal of course, but I like: the size (just about right, not really bulky or ridiculously oversized); the subtle and classy "sun ray" pattern dial; the use of dial accent colors, and the overall rather distinctive and well proportioned design. At this price point, I think Immersion is much better than Invicta or Casio dive watches, both of which I've had and would not buy again. I liked the Stream design enough to have them in a couple of dial colors and band types.
