Most reviews left by buyers on Amazon.com and other gadget review sites were positive, largely because of the sturdy and quality built and performance of the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT In-Dash DVD Multimedia AV Receiver.  When testing this multimedia system, we found that it actually has tons of customizable features including themes and has extended capabilities of playing media files including playing DiVX files and MP4 videos.  Note that to play video files, you must have parking brake engaged, but audio files and radio will play just fine.  Buyers may have to buy separate installation kits that match their vehicles, they typically retail for $35 on Amazon.com.
