Shortcuts to Once a Year Car Polishing

If you have a car and could not afford the expensive finish to avoid periodic car waxing/polishing, you need to protect the finish yourself. The movie Karate Kid romaticized the wax on, wax off operation, but it sure doesn't feel terribly romantic when you're in the middle of it! The good news - you only need to provide this protection once a year. Fortunately, there are shortcuts for the car polishing process. Not only will you protect the car's finish, you will increase its appearance and resale value. Here's a typical description of a person who might use the information in this lens: You like the look of a clean, polished car, but you don't obsess over every scratch, swirl, and imperfection. You want to get the job done yesterday. You probably hate the thought of car polishing and procrastinate every year, but know it needs to be done. You will notice that I suggest Nu Finish Polish for this task. Three reasons for this recommendation: it's inexpensive, recommended by Consumer Reports, and only requires a once per year application. Who wants to polish your car more than that! Let's get started with the proper materials and preparation. These comprise shortcuts #1 and #2 and are the most important.

So find the camera you use on vacation and start snapping the pup's expressions. Most dogs make excellent photography subjects. How Subaru Creates Genuine Customer Loyalty

This lens describes the process of how I magically transformed into a loyal Subaru customer. It's subtle but effective and it happens to many first-time Subaru buyers like myself. Since Subaru has replaced Honda as the Consumer Reports' manufacturer of the best cars, a lot more first-time buyers will fall under the Subaru spell. A Little History I counted the number of cars I've purchased in the past 40 years: six Toyotas in a row (Mark Corona II, 3 Corollas, Celica, Supra) a Nissan Pathfinder when the SUV rage first started a Honda Accord when I started commuting long distances on a daily basis an mid-life crisis Audi TT a Pontiac Grand Prix (highly rated by Consumer Reports) and a Subaru Forester (I wanted another SUV and the 2007 Forester was a favorite of guess what magazine). I've had the Subaru for 5 years. The others were kept for an average of 3.5 years. I already have my eye on another Subaru - when I get another car. Now what happened to change my habit of switching from car maker to car maker and turned this customer to the Subaru brand, most likely for life? Subaru builds customer loyalty from the ground up. The sections in this lens illustrate the creation and maintenance of Subaru customer loyalty using myself as an example: Building the Subaru Customer Loyalty Habit - The New Owner Reinforcing Subaru Customer Loyalty Part I - Frequent Communication Reinforcing Subaru Customer Loyalty Part II - Maintaining the Association Figuring Out How Customer Loyalty Works

Ten Cheap Tips to Keep Your Car Looking New

Hope your car doesn't look like the pic on the left! When I was detailing cars because I got laid off, someone had a dead cat in a box in the back seat. Didn't take long to locate the offfensive object! This lens lists 10 ways to keep your car looking new. In fact, it describes the 10 easiest, cheapest, and least time-consuming methods to do so. Why bother? Here's three good reasons why you want to keep your car looking new: Your car is an investment. It's up to you to make sure it's maintained according to the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule. But even if your car is well-maintained but looks, well, like a piece of junk, its value will decline. And when you sell it, you'll get a lot less for it. It's a matter of pride. I've had a Subara Forester for 5 years. Except for a few minor dings from unknow sources, it's in very good condition. A few days ago, I drove a friend to pick up her car after servicing. She said, "This car (the Forester) smells like it's brand new." And there's so little work involved to keep it smelling new! Your car's condition is a reflection of your work ethic. I know many people who would never get hired if prospective employees took a quick look at the condition of their car. A messy car reflects a disorganized mind (kinda like your desk at work).

Things to Do in Atlantic City NJ in the Spring

We drove the 3.5 hours to Atlantic City on Easter Sunday, my birthday. Early April is too cold for swimming (the people on the beach in the picture on the left aren't wearing bathing suits - see blown up pic below), but there's tons of stuff to do. Like find the best slot . . . Or the finest dining. Or entertainment on the boardwalk. Or shop til you drop. Or walk the boardwalk. People Walking on Jersey Shore Beach - Atlantic City in April This Atlantic City travelogue is about finding things to do despite the cool weather and the lack of formal entertainment. The only entertainment we could find was a Legends concert with legends we had no interest in. Things to do in Atlantic City NJ in the spring start with the hotel . . .

Made for TV Musicals - Glee versus Smash

I admittedly don't know much about today's TV shows except for Criminal Minds, Body of Proof, and The Mentalist. Do you sense a detective trend here? I do know I love the newest TV genre - made-for-TV musicals. A touch of comedy. A lot of drama. And Unbelievable Music! Of course the two that come to mind first are the newest show - SMASH - a kinda soap opera-like drama centered around the creation of a Marilyn Monroe Broadway musical. Critics rate Smash as a SMASH! The other has been around for awhile - Glee - the teen-age, high school mini series about the lives and loves of the Glee Club members. This show has an enormous following (they call themselves Gleeks). All that's informative, but what's the point of this lens? I'm interested in what people THINK: 1. Which show rates higher in your mind? 2. Who's your favorite singer? The shows certainly appeal to different audiences, but the theme is the same - great singers and dancers, great music!

Brother All In One Wireless Printer (MFC-J615W) - A BEST Buy

Why lucky? Did the standard research looking for an all in one (print, scan, copy, FAX) WIRELESS printer. Had to be wireless. Had to be all in one. And had to have separate ink cartridges for each color (much cheaper for ink). Walked into the PC Richard store and bargained for a Canon printer. Lucky thing, it wasn't in stock. I was headed to my favorite online store where I knew I could get it in a day. Then, on the way out, I almost tripped on stack of boxes of the Brother All In One WIRELESS Printer (MFC-J615W) with separate ink cartridges! And for less than dollarsignr90 (special sale item)! They usually sell for a little about dollarsignr130, but you can find bargins, especially if you buy the MFC-J615W at Amazon. Wow! Was it too good to be true? The answer to that question is discussed in this lens - a review of the Brother All In OneWireless Printer (MFC-J615W). See if it'll be a best buy for you!
