How Can I Be Sure If My Laptop Is Free Of Trojans And Viruses?

Well like 6 months ago my computer got alot of trojans and other viruses. Well last month and this month i decided to get rid of them. Last month i downloaded malwarebytes and superantispywareboth free versions. Then i did a full scans and got rid of the viruses. Then yesterday i did a full scan with malwarebytes and found some trojans and i got rid of them. Then today i did a full scan with superantispyware but it just found adware tracking cookies. Does this mean it got rid of the viruses Also my windows security center cant turn on. Do i still have virusesI did this all from safe mode by the way.
