The USB cord that I purchased was listed EXACTLY for the camera but, when I got the USB cable, it DID NOT FIT!! Totally unsatisfied with the my purchase.

Does not fit Lumix FZ150

I ordered this after speaking to an Amazon customer service person about problems I was having with the original Panasonic USB cable. He told me this would work with the FZ150, but it doesn’t. It doesn’t fit the socket. I bought another product on Amazon that works perfectly: “Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 USB Cable – USB Computer Cord for Lumix DMC-FZ150.” It’s better than the original cable.
Hard to rate a product I couldn’t use, but it was supposed to work with the FZ150 and it doesn’t.

broken almost immediately

the manual warns the wire to the connector is a weak point and that you should not put any stress on it. i had been testing it for a couple of days and was careful not to stress it, however it came apart in my hand and now the camera will not work. my impression in the first couple of days is there is a good bit of distortion on the edges of the image as you might expect in a small wide angle lens. the low light seems to be pretty good with the limited testing i was able to try. the keys were sticky right out of the box and i had some issues just moving between screens. it is funny that it seems to have been an attempt to do a high quality product with for example a high quality lemo type connector, but poorly put together. i am in the process of trying to repair the connector and if sucessful will update this review accordingly.

Easy to use, good quality.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R8WUUIE02KOSR This video was made using the 335BLK goggles. These were easy to use. The quality of the goggles are good. The quality of the camera is mediocre (about as expected for the price). I would like to see an upgraded version with a better lens and sensor at twice the price. Even in the brightest conditions some color and detail are lost. The image quality from the GoPro is better but the Liquid Image goggles are more convenient and easier to use.

The buttons are simple and intuitive. The lcd/led diplay inside the goggles was slightly out of my field of vision so I needed to pull them away from my head to see if I was recording or in standby.

These use a micro SD card which is a plus but they use a non-standard USB cable to charge. It’s not mini nor micro and that is a drawback.

Overall they are worth every penny. I expect good things from this company in the future and can’t wait to test more of their stuff.

awesome – takes spectacular video the way you see it

An awesome camera that takes fantastic video the way you see it, not as a spectator.

Like the other reviewer, I bought the camera to film horse jumping and trail riding. It’s unique and superior to GoPro in that it’s view is at your eye level, so the camera is not looking off into the distant horizon when you are looking at, for instance, the jump right in front of you. Also, there is no need for a helmet or mounting hardware – all you need are the goggles.

It works and takes spectacular video (at first on my old PC, the fps seemed low, but on an up-to-date computer it’s phenomenal!!) The fps is slightly higher than video from a Canon Powershot. It was able to take well over an hour of footage on the included battery, with the included 4gb micro disk. The maker also, with foresight and consideration, included an adapter for the micro disk to slip into a regular scan disk. The plug and play works instantly even on XP (if the system is up to date). And, the super wide angle really does record just about everything your eyes can see – removing the impression of a box or frame during playback.

The cons aren’t too big – there is only one goggle size, and for a woman’s smaller face, it felt like it was crushing my nose and cheekbones, which also made it uncomfortable to breathe. The goggles aren’t that heavy, and I think if the size was smaller, it would be very comfortable. And the device compartments and controls feel cheap and easy to break. The on/off button and the video/camera toggle button feel very spongy, and I wasn’t ever sure I was really quite pressing it until the camera beeped. The latch over the card and connector compartment is brittle plastic hinged to a slim metal bar that feels destined to snap off long before the camera dies. And, there is no way to eject the battery (although you can charge it using the USB connector without removing it). If it ever needs replacing, tweezers and a few fervent prayers will be necessary.

I love this camera, and plan to take it all over the place.

GREAT Video Quality

I bought these video cam goggles to take with me on a horseback riding adventure. I didn’t want to mount something on my helmet because I would be wearing the helmet cam for 8-10 hours a day and I thought a mounted model would cause my neck to hurt after a while. These goggles worked perfect! If I wanted to wear them I could or I could just pull them down and let them hang on my neck. While riding difficult terrain, it only took me a split second to activate the camera. I just had to reach up and push a button. Turning the video off was just as easy. The film quality is phenomenal. Even my geek friends (who aren’t easily impressed) commented on how great the video is. You can check it out here. [...]
This video cam also takes nice still photos. I did notice however, when it got warmer outside, I would sweat under the goggles. They are most comfortable in cold and cool weather.

Lightweight and easy to use but . . .

But, it doesn’t work well in low light conditions, and the zoom is electronic and not optical, so when using it, the results are grainy. It works well when using it at the widest angle for both photos and videos. Good battery life, and in combination with a 4GB SD Memory Card, is a pretty good combination to keep in the car, or handy in case something unexpected happens.

Great Memory

Mustek DV526L 6-in-1 Multi-Functional Camera
This small camborder is great. Others I looked at only took 1G memory cards or smaller. This one will take an 8G card (or smaller). Info not in litature nor manual. Called tech support (1-408-387-6571).
Its my first 6 in 1 camera/camcorder and I love it already. Never seems to run out of memory(just batteries). I have discovered recharging them seems to be best.

Do not buy from mustek!!!

Do not buy anything from Mustek!!! When the product gives you problems, the companies phone number is long distance and know matter what option you pick, you will get the same individual (apparently the only individual who works there) and he will tell you that policy is that the warranty no longer covers the product. He will not allow you to speak with a supervisor and you will be stuck with a product that does not work. They only care about selling the product, not making sure it works and Walmart even says they are nolonger carrying there products!

Great if at a lower price

Amazon ran a very short special on this item, and I got it for way below the listed price.
At what I paid for it, I’m extremely happy with the item. Video quality is phenomenal, it picks up audio just right, it looks rugged and easy to use. I would, however, not pay full price fort his device.

Any cons that I can find, is that there isn’t any sort of frame stabilizing technology, so you either learn to hold it steady, use a tripod, or just put up with overly shaky video.

Great recorder except for the sound

I bought this so that I would have a video recorder that I could fit in my shirt pocket. I also use it to send short family videos to family members. It takes great videos but the sound could be better. I will take it on any trip I go on. I have a digital camera that also takes video but it is a lot bigger than the Vado so it is a hassle to take with me. I am very happy with my purchase.

It is very easy to operate and it is very easy to load videos to a computer.
