(More customer reviews)Buyers should consider the purchase of this product for the enclosure and an included free sub. The enclosure is great! Very hard, very heavy, high quality. You can actually get some good thumps with it being a shallow case! The subwoofer is OK. You aren't gonna shake the cars next to you with this thing, but hopefully people realize this considering the size (10"). It is very good for your standard volumes. I still have it in and am very happy with it. You can always replace the subwoofer later with a higher quality if you want (it IS user replaceable).
It says it requires you to cut a hole in the back panel that is on top of it, but I did not as I want to leave the car in as "stock" fashion as possible. This causes some vibrations from the back panel, but I put a small line of foam in between and it is fine now. Cannot even tell the sub is there without the car on. I put it in a 2006 Scion xB and it fits, but I cut a line of foam from the "Spare Tire" side to make it fit better. Only about half an inch which is just extras anyways.

(More customer reviews)It was really easy to put together and use.It was well packed - it emerged unscathed from a very scathed box.The steel seems thin until you relaize that it is just carrying bikes, not a trailor.It is strong enough and doesn't weigh a ton.

However...It comes in three main pieces that you bolt together.The resulting rack does exactly what it is supposed to.And it is solid.That's almost enough.The problem is that a thief must remove, at most, two bolts to steal your bikes.I used some Locktite on the bolts and cured that little failing.Now the bolts can't come out and the rack is about perfect.

About Allen Bike Racks
In 1967, after a few years of working on the aerospace technology for the Apollo missions, Dick Allen was out of a job. Government cutbacks led Allen, a Harvard-trained physicist, to transform his garage hobby into a new industry. (More customer reviews)The DW290 has saved me hours, scratch that, weeks of labor many scrapes and bruises, and tons of money on repairing my two cars.It turns even partially stripped nuts and bolts that haven't turned in 12 years.
Only rubber bushing shock mounted bolts refuse to budge with the DW290. The bushings absorb the impact so no torque to the hardware.More torque may help.
The documentation I received with the unit lacked content.No diagrams on torque versus time, how/when to maintain/repair, no parts manual.Impact wrench operation must be understood to perform to expectations.DeWalt.com promises to add Use and Care manuals to their website one of these days...
The DW290 has saved me: time, knuckle/arm injury and expense.It's given me lot's of confidence to take on almost any car repair.It's loud, works well, and DeWalt yellow so your neighbors know you are serious professional.
Advice: A complete set of Deep and Shallow, SAE and Metric, 1/2 inch impact sockets with extensions and swivels in a nice carrying case is the perfect accessory for the DW290.(I'd also recommend earplugs)

(More customer reviews)I bought this for use with my enclosed trailer and my Yamaha 250 dirt bike.When shopping for wheel chocks I found this listed from one manufacturer but multiple sources (eBay, Amazon etc).

The one thing that wasn't obvious is the fact that this chock is designed with a pivot mechanism that actually locks the tire.You roll the bike in, wrap the bar over the top of the tire, and then push back down on a lever.In the picture it shows all parts draped over the top of the tire, but the person taking the picture didn't set it up properly.

The positive clamping action really works well, though you have to play with it a bit to get the right amount of tension.I now use no straps on the front of the bike at all, rather this chock on the front and a strap on each side at the back.The bike holds rock steady with this arrangement.

(More customer reviews)This is awesome! One drawback, the directions are a little confusing. There are two sets, one in the little pamphlet, another in the form of stickers on the actual product. One says charge 12 hours before using, the other says 48 hours. One says, for jump-starting, connect directly to the battery, the other says connect as you would to another car (red cable to red terminal, black cable to a non-moving metal part of the engine or "ground"). I did it connecting to a ground and that worked. It also said let sit for five minutes before starting your engine, but I tried it right away and that also worked fine.

BUT WAIT, this is the amazing part. I bought this for a relatively crappy car that may or may not have an electrical leak, but it's mostly a secondary car that I don't drive often enough anyway. Within a number of weeks, I have used this thing THREE TIMES without charging.Again, directions say charge immediately after each jump, but THREE TIMES. And the little guage on the side of it STILL says 100% ready charge, and the light still turns on bright and everything....... WOW

Also, you don't have to lug it inside and plug it in to recharge. If you're worried you can plug it in to the cigarette lighter and recharge it while you drive, so it'll be ready next time you park. But again, I did not do this, 3 times WITHOUT charging and still at 100% (Course, I followed the 48 hour instructions, so I started at about 110-115% charge... probably should have mentioned that sooner :p )

Bottom line: works exactly as advertised. Is cheap compared to other brands. Definitely worth every penny.

They did charge me shipping for 25 lbs, even though it actually weighs 15 lbs, but still worth it.

We got a melt in early March, I handed it to my husband to put it on the trailer and he came back in and said "where are the keys?"There were no keys to this thing. I would expect the keys would have been taped to the lock but they werent.I contacted the company with several emails to get a set of keys but they NEVER RESPONDED. So all we got is a very expensive door stop.PFFFFFFT.Lousy company who deserves to go belly up in this economy because they dont care about their customer.

(More customer reviews)CCI makes a fine set of four replacement hubcaps for 15 inch wheels; these are exactly what I wanted when a couple of hubcaps recently went "AWOL" from my 2004 Toyota Corolla. They fit on well without too much difficulty and they just plain look and feel well made.

PROS:
1)The whole set of 4 is actually cheaper than buying a single replacement hubcap directly from a Toyota service shop
2)You won't waste the day rummaging for somewhat usable hubcaps at the junkyard or a rock-bottom priced hubcap yard
3)Easy installation--they pop right on (get a friend to help with this if you're not too strong)
4)The set of 4 makes all your hubcaps look alike

CONS:
1)These are not "genuine" Toyota parts although I don't see how this matters
2)They don't have the Toyota symbol in the middle of the hubcap--but again, I don't see how this really matters

BOTTOM LINE:

These hubcaps will serve you well and spare you the outlandish expense of buying just one or two hubcaps directly from a Toyota shop. They are well made and I recommend them. They should last quite a long time and they can fit onto any car tire that is 15 inches.

It grabs a hold of my 17" wheel on my Triumph Daytona and it nearly got stuck in it. The tire bearly hits the floor of the chock. It doesn't quite give you a great feeling of security. Like I said; Could be better.

(More customer reviews)This Milwaukee 18 volt impact wrench is unreal!!!!!!
I have owned it for three months now and I have yet to find
its limmit. Tire lugg nuts are a joke evan on a 18 wheeler!
I have driven 3/4 inch by 10 inch long lag bolts with no pilot
holes, straight thru 4x6 beams into stucco and thru the wall studs no problem!!! Yes I said with no pilot holes.
And just for fun I drove a one inch by 12 inch long lag bolt into
the end of a pressure treated 4x6, with ease.
I removed a rusted 7/8 inch nut that was imposssible to do by hand. The tool is big and heavy no doubt about it but not too
big or too heavy. It does have excellent ballance and is extremley rugged. This much power in a tool does have its down
side, after removeing 4 tires and replacing them the battery is
showing signs of fatigue and after 4 of the 3/4 inch by 10 inch
lag bolts the battery is dead. (those are huge bolts)
If you do this kind of thing often your better off with a corded
impact gun. But I have found the cordless to be very handy.
If the tool stands the test of time its a huge winner!!!!!!
