Some of the instructions said to breathe deeply, and some said to breathe normally.I chose to breathe deeply, because I wanted it to work quickly to see if it would relieve my congestion.

A few days after starting to use it, I started experiencing severe symptoms of what I would later learn was high blood pressure.I usually had quite normal BP, and was shocked to see that it was in the high range.My doctor wanted to put me on meds, but I first wanted to see whether stopping the salt inhaler would work.

I purchased a blood pressure gauge and started monitoring my BP several times a day.Within a week of stopping this inhaler, my BP plummeted back to well within normal range.

The outside of the box says "100% Natural & Safe," but this item was evidently unsafe for me to use.The box also states that the "amount of salt is so small it does not affect blood pressure..."I'm skeptical.

My advice: if you really want to use this thing, don't inhale too strongly, and make sure you monitor your blood pressure as you use it.

Tazo's Passion Herbal Infusion is a somewhat tart, deep, flavorful (hibiscus-y tasting) tea. It is not berry-like in taste, although it is red in color. It's difficult to describe what hibiscus tastes like, but I find it a most pleasant taste. My husband says it tastes like pomegranate to him. Although Passion contains licorice root it is not sweet.

The ingredients in Passion are: hibiscus flowers, natural tropical flavors, citric acid, orange peel, licorice root, cinnamon bark, rose hips, lemongrass and red poppy. It is caffeine-free!

Tazo is an interesting company that makes only super premium teas. They are socially responsible, based in Portland, and have the motto, "The Reincarnation of Tea". Tazo is owned by Starbucks. Their web site is fun and quirky, with a Zen-type focus, definitely worth checking out. It is unclear, though, from their web site, how many of their ingredients are organic or kosher, and they do use some "natural flavors" in their teas--this wording seems a little vague for a super premium tea.

On the paper tea packet, Tazo writes, "A tantalizing deep red tea made from hibiscus flowers, exotic herbs and natural tropical flavors." On their web site, Tazo describes the flavor profile of Passion as "berry, juicy, wine-like, merlot, sweet, earthy, dense". Tazo describes the aroma as "sweet, juicy, red fruits".

I would rate this tea, and Tazo in general, as very good---better than premium teas like Stash or Celestial Seasonings---but not as good as other teas such as Numi, which is why Tazo Passion gets only four stars.

Prestige Medical Sprague Stethoscope Review

(More customer reviews)I like the Sprague-Rappaport style stethoscopes personally - I like the multitude of attachments they come with, I like the heavier weight (they just feel more durable to me somehow), and if they fit the ears well, they can be comfortable enough for my usage as a nursing student. My local uniform shop only carries Littmanns and Prestige Medical so when I was shopping for an inexpensive yet effective stethoscope (stethoscopes often wander away during hospital clinicals!), I was confined to this Prestige (I didn't really like the Light version of the Sprague FWIW). I do recommend this stethoscope to students and nurses with one caveat: the first one I bought didn't really transmit sounds very well. I looked online for ways to test a stethoscope and one site said to switch to the bell attachment, place the bell on the skin surface and then quickly remove it. The user should feel a difference in pressure in his/her ears if the internal mechanism's seal is airtight and thus an effective transmitter of sound. The first steth did not do this very well at all. I exchanged it for another of the same exact model (although a different tube color) and the new stethoscope was great - it passed this test with flying colors. So your mileage may vary, but if you can try out different individual stethoscopes, do so to compare them. Or if you order one through Amazon and it doesn't meet your expectations, exchange it with them; Amazon is really good about returns ans exchanges.

Overall, the new steth is more than adequate for my rookie ears; I can hear my lab partner's heart sounds at all five points at the anterior, lung sounds are clear, and bowel sounds are easily detectable. Some people do not like the double tubing because it causes extraneous noise artifacts. While this is true to a degree, the user can quickly learn to figure out what is 'junk' noise and what is important during auscultation.

The multiple accessories that this stethoscope comes with increase its versatility, especially to the student - I have a bell for infants, and a bell and diaphragm for peds as well as for adults. That's great for my various clinical rotations I have coming up.

The stethoscope is pretty comfortable for me to use - I like the softer 'default' ear tips that it ships with, though you get a choice of two others as well.

The low price of this model coupled with it's versatility make it a good choice, in my opinion. Many of the professional nurses at my hospital this semester use this stethoscope, so that should say something about its effectiveness and durability. And for somebody like me who puts things down and forgets them: the scope is priced so that if I DID lose it, I wouldn't be to broken up over it.

QuickTime 7.0 is a beta version program and they have not worked out all the bugs yet with different software programs. They are working on this and you should expect to find a downloadable driver here soon to correct this problem.
That being said, it seems like (from the review just below mine) the Quicktime problem is "solved" now with the newest Quicktime update. NEVER trust a beta (wink).

It's here and definitely worth the wait. I am enjoying Wisdom Quest even more than The Passage. While I took pleasure in the latest installment first as a game, I now use Wisdom Quest in Guided mode as an ongoing "energy training" tool.

I am very pleased to have worked my way up to the extra hard level in just a month -- enjoying both the challenge and the accomplishment. I am sure I will return to game mode again in the future. It is always a pleasure to retreat to The Wild Divine.

Wisdom Quest builds on skills and characters in the original Wild Divine -The Passage. While some of the many new features include 360 degree panning, guided activity mode (a click and pick selection of some of the more popular events) and LEVELS of difficult (Thank you Wild Divine!), the biggest improvement in my mind is the scope of the adventure.

There is so much more to explore. The details seem richer, the vistas broader and the journey more expansive. Most of us were thrilled with the original Wild Divine and Wisdom Quest is definitely a worthwhile successor. There is more to do, new mentors to meet and old friends to reacquaint with. Help is available along the way for asking and if you really miss something an optional fairy will give you some hints.

The thing is...Because I feel more energy, I don't feel like to eat breakfast and makes me more hungry around 3-4pm - ish. So, I ended up with eating more for dinner and gained weight. Becuase I have sleep disorder, I could not take another pill that late afternoon (it has caffeine).

(More customer reviews)My SC-560 took over six weeks to arrive, too, and I wonder if it was due to high demand following a glowing review of the model in "Prevention" magazine.That review was what inspired me to get this particular scale, and I doubt I was the only one.

This scale gives you so much more information than just your weight (in increments of 0.2 pounds); it displays body fat percentage, body water percentage, and estimated daily caloric requirement to maintain your current weight.This may be too much info for some people who just want a quick weight reading, although it does that, too.

The reason I am not rating the scale more highly is that I find the LCD display a bit small for comfortable reading.The "low/normal/moderate/high" indicator is practically invisible.Also, the scale would not work for me at first -- I was on the verge of calling Homedics customer service when I thought to remove the 9-volt battery and reinstall it, after which it seemed to work just fine.Finally, I find the "Ideal" weight and caloric requirement that the scale suggests to be confusing.I feel I could stand to lose a few pounds yet it tells me I should be heavier than I am.Hmmmmm.....

If you want this model, the price here at Amazon is by far the best I found anywhere online.

It did not do much for me.
You have to take at least 6 medium-sized pills a day (you can aplit 3 day/3 evening), for months (at least 2 months) to hope to see even small gains.
And for most of us, I fear, small gains will be all you'll see.
Every little bit helps with hypertension, I suppose, but decent diet and exercise will go a lot further a lot quicker for of us.

By the way, some sites pushing this give hints -- or more -- about a "happy" side benefit from L-Arginine of increased libido -- or more. Alas, I can't confirm (emphasis on firm) that either.

Bottom line: By all means, give it a try; just keep in mind that your mileage may vary.

(More customer reviews)I can't recommend the Stresseraser highly enough. I bought it because I sometimes have trouble sleeping and have high blood pressure. I have had it six months and use it twice a day: when I wake up and just before I go to sleep. When I insert my finger in the side of the unit my breathing is all over the place. After a few minutes it begins to smooth out and eventually is very regular. For the rest of the day I have more energy and react more calmly to the events of work and home.

I've become very interested in how this works and can't find a lot of information. Certainly, it is very close to yoga and meditation techniques. But I find it easier to use and it helps me focus more quickly. They've kind of turned it into a video game by awarding points for the right type of breathing. It takes me about 8 minutes to earn the 30 points necessary to produce a relaxing result. I try to do about 100 points a day.

Here's another interesting little tip: the stresseraser is great for golf. I use it before every round. It helps my mind stay connected during my swing rather than just kind of blacking out halfway through.

I think this thing is revolutionary and worth every penny you spend on it. But one little note of caution, you still have to sit down, be still and use it. If you're always on the phone, always with one eye on TV or email, it can't do the impossible. But if you give it a chance, maybe it will help you become a more relaxed and effective person.
