(More customer reviews)I'm very surprised to read negative reviews because we have found this to be a beautiful and surprisingly durable skirt. My 3 year old has dragged it through the dirt while playing outside, spilled juice, etc. on it, and even wore it through potty training with a few accidents...none more worse for the wear. It's not machine washable, but I have just hand washed it with warm water. At first it is wrinkled, but once it is worn again or hangs awhile the wrinkles disappear and it's as good as new.

The colors are so pretty and the way the skirt flows and blows in the wind means my daughter chooses it more often than any of her other dress up clothes. I'm actually thinking of buying another in a different color, mainly so when she has a friend over they can both put one on!

My only complaint is that the waist is really big on her, and I bought the toddler size. It might be nice if there was some adjustability to the waist, or maybe they need more than two sizes of this item because I noticed that others complained of the waist on theirs being too small instead. But she will grow into it, and I'm sure it will last.

(More customer reviews)I'm OK with Barbie, I really am.But she can be sort of one dimensional.And Bratz have always been banned from our home, that is definitely not going to change.So I was very pleased when I came across these dolls a few weeks ago while shopping for my 8 year old daughter.They're cute without being boring, they're clothes are more like those I'd allow my own daughter to actually wear and they're hip enough for my daughter to be interested in them.

I like the accessories that can be purchase to play with these dolls because they are creative (allowing your child to color, wipe off and recolor them) so I feel like I'm getting a good bargain for my money.They're as well made as a Barbie doll too, so if you're child takes care of them, who knows, maybe someday (a LONG LONG time from now), your grandchildren will love them too.

(More customer reviews)My daughter has played with the 80's version of the Calico Critters at Grandma's from age 3 on up, and was delighted when she received this mouse family for her birthday.She loves imaginative play and has made a beautiful homemade shoebox house for her little mice, including furniture made from household odds and ends.She is getting her brother another Critter family for his 5th birthday so their families can be neighbors.
These are wonderful toys, very cute and well-made.Their arms and legs move, and their little outfits are adorable.The only difficulty we've had so far is in tying the tiny outfit ties when they come undone (such as the baby twins' miniscule outfits that are tied with tiny bows).They are quite durable, just as the 80's versions were (and are).I highly recommend them for any child who has a good imagination and who loves pretend play with families.

This dress was made by another manufacturer and one layer of this dress is made of paper-like material instead of nice fabric and the dress had a strong chemical smell. I threw it away.

(More customer reviews)I'm not sure what Juicy Couture means; I've seen the brand shopping in high-end department stores and on the backsides of rich kids hanging around in the malls, so I'm sure it's some kind of darwinian offshoot of Tommy Hilfiger, Baby Phat and other luxury brands that came before them. To be fair, it's high-quality stuff, but until now I haven't been able to justify the expense of anything from this brand, no matter how "juicy" it is. However, now that they've branched out into Barbie, they're in my territory, and so I've added this set to my collection.

This set is a vast improvement over the first clownish-looking pair in brightly colored jogging suits. The dresses and jewelry are much more appropriate to the theme and the price point, and and it's all very top-notch, as you would expect JC to be. These dolls are a nightmare to debox and unless you want to display them in a certain way, I would suggest you leave them NRFB.

But if you do want to play with them, don't be afraid of them. You only get one life and you only get so much time, and if ripping those dolls out and playing with them is how you enjoy them, I say go for it. In fact, the black dress on the blonde is known to stain the doll, so sometimes taking something out to play with it can be a good thing.

Life is short. Play hard-- whether the boxes can stand it or not. :-)They're YOUR dolls. Play with them they way YOU want to play.

(More customer reviews)Well first of all, the DVD is pretty weird.I've talked to a number of my friends who have bought this, and I've written to Hasbro and have gotten nothing more than an automated response, so I'm convinced this is not a defect.It's just weird.When you stick the DVD in, there is no menu.Try pressing "play" and see if that helps.It takes persistence and patience, but eventually it will play.Don't interrupt it, or you'll have to start all over again.It's only a few minutes long, so you can wait.

Just a note: there are NO captions, in case you or your child is deaf.I'm deaf, so this affected me.

This video was put together in about the same way I used to throw together last minute reports when I found out I had a paper due in the morning, and I hadn't done anything on it yet.If your child is 3, she might like it.If she's 4 or older, get her the MLP videos from 2003-2007 (which I might add DO have closed captioning).

Really, you're paying for the pony and accessories.Mainly the durability of the accessories.The pony looks cheap, though she has a lovely smile and a cute tail.If your child has never seen another My Little Pony before, she'll probably just love this one and all the 2008 ones that match her, which, by the way, all come in the same pose.She IS pretty.I can't deny that.But her face somehow reminds me of that of a live pony who hasn't had enough to eat over the winter.

The clothes are an interesting thick rubbery plastic-ish material, and they do not break easily.They can be taken off and on, as well as exchanged between any of the other 2008 ponies that are made with the same pose.Yes, the kids can do it themselves, and probably won't even break them.

Of course, Hasbro hasn't given up the tensile hair idea yet.Keep this away from anything that caries an electrical charge.Not that it's dangerous, but it will just mess up your pony's hair.There's no magnet in the foot any more, so you can walk your pony all over your laptop if you wish without damaging the laptop, but the tensile hair will just sort of reach towards the screen.

If you put her shoes on, she will stand much taller than the ponies around her, so I generally keep her shoes off.The kids can take the shoes on and off all they want, and they fit the other ponies too (again, as long as they're from the 2008 line in the same pose .. the accessories do NOT fit ANY ponies from ANY previous line).

(More customer reviews)Crayola Fabric Crayons contain a kind of dye, Disperse Dye, which works well when ironed onto all synthetic fibers such as polyester, but washes right out of natural fibers such as cotton.

Just give your children some paper and these transfer crayons, and have them draw and color their own pictures. It's best to color fairly heavily, brushing off any crumbs. The colors will look quite dull on the paper, but don't worry. After an adult irons the pictures onto any synthetic fabric, the colors will be bright and pretty, and the designs will be permanent and machine washable.

For best results, select a white 100% synthetic fabric with a smooth weave, such as polyester satin or nylon taffeta. Any synthetic fiber will do - polyester, triacetate, acrylic, or nylon - but avoid modacrylic and polypropylene because they will shrink under the heat of the iron. Blends which contain at least 50% polyester or nylon will also work, but the colors will not be as bright. Avoid fabric made of 100% cotton, rayon, linen, silk, or wool, unless you are transferring a design that you want to wash out later.

Don't confuse these fabric crayons with ordinary wax-based Crayola crayons for paper! They look so much alike that you may need to be careful to keep the fabric crayons out of the box of regular crayons.

(More customer reviews)i bought one for my niece this christmas. i was worried she'd be too young for it (at only 7 months) but she loves it! we have to hold onto while she sits on him but she's getting really good at bouncing and taking steps with him supporting her. it'll be great for her while she grows and learns to walk and eventually can bounce on her own.

it's really nice soft rubber...feels nice, doesn't smell weird or anything.
i got the white which i can see getting scuffed and dirty easily but it's just so cute!
