(More customer reviews)I purchased a black
embroidered organic Ergo and realized later that it did not have a
pocket like other Ergos. I thus got the pouch off of Amazon. The
pouch is worth the money and it much more versatile than initially
anticipated. You can attach it to the front of the pack, the back
of the pack (waist straps) with velcro, or you can carry it with
the strap that comes with it. The strap itself is adjustable and
features a handy clip with which you can quickly attack and detach
the strap. Fantastic design. You have one zippered front pocket, an
open pocket behind that, then the main zippered pocket and a small
zippered compartment within that. I keep some doggy bags, my
wallet, my iphone, ipod, keys, a burp cloth, a pacifier, a pack of
kleenex and my rescue inhaler in it. There is room to spare, too.
It has turned into my "mommy purse." I keep it in whichever diaper
bag I am using and is the only thing I take with me if I have to
run a quick errand by myself. Definitely a great addition to the
Ergo pack or just on its own.

(More customer reviews)I couldn't agree
more with the other reviewers. I have used the older ventaire
bottles for my first daughter for almost 3 years without any
problems (they only started leaking at the end of 3 years after
thousands of washes). However the ventaire advanced bottles that I
had purchased for my little one are absolutely horrible, leak
almost every time. I would definitely go for the old type of
bottles.

these bottles. My daughter loves them, too. Here are the pros and
cons, and i think they are worth it.
Pros- Easy to clean
-Less gas
-Less spit up
-Less fussing
-they feel durable and of good quality
-angled bottle is good for preventing ear aches, which our baby is
prone to.
-Happier baby overall
Cons- Lots of pieces
-If not assembled correctly, they will leak. All you need to do is
run your finger over the bottom vent before filling and there are
no leaks.
- thick bottles, and you cant use them in the bottle warmer.
running them under hot water takes a while. i heat up formula in a

(More customer reviews)Children grow in
stages and as a consequence some toys are not forever, babies and
children simply outgrow them. The Tiny Love Activity Gym is one of
these types of toys.It won't keep a growing baby's attention for
even 12 months, but this limitation should be viewed as a feature
not as a deterrent to buying it.
The short duration of its usefulness is due to its intentional
design. The striking combinations of red, white and black have been
studied and proven to engage and stimulate babies in their early
months when their vision is still developing.
And we loved ours.It went through 2 children without strain and now
it has gone off to the neighbors newborn twins. It was easily washed
and simply great in providing fun for that must have
`belly-time'.
Summary:The Tiny Love Activity Gym has its place and function and
our babies loved it.It is for those wonderful, romance months when
your beautiful new baby is focussed on you and maybe a little bit
of his/her nearby environment.

(More customer reviews)The original
stroller purchased from Amazon.com suffered the same issue as
reviewed previously - a strong pull (in our case, to the left). The
pull occurred whether the front wheel was locked or not, and was
extremely annoying even while walking on paved surfaces.
Wheel Alignment 101:
The issue is most definitely NOT caused by the front wheel itself,
but rather a manufacturing defect in the frame of the stroller. The
front wheel pin attaches to a bracket that is welded to the
frame. This bracket was welded out of square, causing the pin to
angle (substantially) to the right of the stroller. The pin is
unfortunately not adjustable, and this angle is transferred to the
front wheel, causing it to push left while rolling.Just like on a
car, a cambered wheel will always cause a pull.
Now the good news:
I contacted BabyJogger and described the problem, and emailed them
pictures of the disassembled stroller to explain what I thought was
the cause. The problem wasn't news to them, but it sounded like my
suggestion to look at the wheel pin was. They sent me a complete
replacement the next week after verifying that the front pin was
square to the frame on the new stroller. The new stroller now rolls
straight and true.
There is still a small amount of turning play in the front wheel
when locked. This is necessary because it allows you to make small
adjustments in the tracking of the stroller while running. The
important thing is that it does not PULL, which is caused by camber
NOT a wobbling wheel.Wheels that wobble slightly or are out of
balance just cause vibration at high speeds. And trust me... you
don't run that fast.
Taking all of this into context, we really do love this stroller. It
is extremely well made of high quality materials. It is extremely
maneuverable and easy to push. The stroller holds more but folds
smaller than our old clunky stroller, and we wish we knew about
this one sooner. It really is a very well engineered stroller and we
are so glad our only complaint (the wheel pull) was resolved by
their fantastic customer service.I would have given this 5 stars if
we didn't have to deal with warranty replacement.Hopefully this is
a production run issue and not a quality control issue. Our first
Summit 360 was built in Feb-09 while the second was built in
May-09.

(More customer reviews)Our primary
complaints with the Tripp Trapp are:
- total cost is needlessly high ($350-$400 all in)
- fussy harness system is a PITA and gets in the way of removing
the cushion for cleaning.also, very poorly written instructions
make installing the accessory cushion with the harness a real
puzzle...
- you'll need to bust out an allen key to make any adjustments
whatsoever.this is inconvenience masquerading as a safety
feature.
- "accessory" cushions = $40 each.plan to buy several since
cushions need to be constantly washed...
- the "accessory" baby rail was recently updated/modified and the
one we received doesn't fit the chair that we purchased at the same
time... there is zero info about this on the Stokke site.in fact,
the product manual that came with the chair and the instructions
that came with the rail show TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT products WITH
THE EXACT SAME NAME.this is inexcusable.pay careful attention to
the design of the rail - make sure it fits your chair.the main
issue is the configuration of the center column that attaches to
the seat (curved vs. straight column) and the type of clip needed
to connect to your seat base.
- Stokke customer service is not open on weekends, and the website
is useless (98% marketing, 2% support - the updated product manual
found online fails to address the differences between the newer
chairs and accessories and older models - or the compatibility
issues therein).as a result, we were left hanging after a Saturday
AM assembly session.the premise of a "6M to teenager" chair is
wildly optimistic. I presume our daughter will be sitting in a
regular chair well before 6th grade...I can't imagine what child
will tolerate sitting in a baby seat past the age of 6...if you
plan to use this chair for an infant (6M+), the $40 baby rail
"accessory" is required (not optional).plan to spend another $40 or
so for at least one cushion just to get started, too.
on the other hand, the premise of a seat that promotes good social
interaction and table behavior is most welcome.since the basic
design of this product is almost 40 years old, it's surprising it
hasn't caught on...
too bad Stokke doesn't realize that "good design" must be part of
the entire value equation from purchase decision to end of
use.their approach to sell many required parts as "accessories" has
little to do with personalization - it's all about profit (or
perhaps the weak strategy of a US distributor - this product is
sold a bit differently in the EU).
sadly, the beauty of the original Kinderzeat was lost when the
product was adapted for the U.S market...
I recommend this product for engineers, elitists who will pay
someone else to handle assembly, and designerati who already have
their minds made up.

Stokke Tripp Trapp - Natural
Product Description:
If you did a double take looking at the picture, you're not alone -
the Stokke Tripp Trapp doesn't look like a regular highchair or
booster seat. That's because it's far more. A top seller in Europe
for years, the solid wood Tripp Trapp is designed to let your child
sit comfortably and securely at the family dining table, kitchen
counter, or computer desk - joining in the action just like a
grownup. Its unique design makes it incredibly stable. The seat and
footrest easily adjust higher or lower, growing with your child.
They also adjust horizontally, in and out from the chair's base, so
you can get just the right fit. And the chair's armless design
makes it safer for little climbers determined to get out by
themselves. A safety harness helps keep your child secure, but the
chair is made for kids who can sit well independently (around 18
months). The Tripp Trapp, manufactured in Norway, isn't just for
kids, either. As strong as it is versatile, the chair's seat can be
positioned at a perfect height for adults.

Genie in 1997 when I was pregnant with my first child, and used it
again in 1999 when I had my second.I just had my third child and
bought two refills, which I realize now don't fit into my Diaper
Genie.Although I noticed it said "Diaper Genie XL" on the package,
I didn't realize it was a new model, and I didn't know it wouldn't
fit the old ones too.I really think they should clearly state this
on the front of the package so that people don't get taken for a
ride. The new refill canister is only off by a fraction of an inch,
which leads me to believe that Playtex did this thinking they would
make more money by everybody going out to buy a new Diaper
Genie.Instead, I went out and bought a Diaper Champ from Baby
Trend. It works just as well as the Diaper Champ at controlling
odor, but it's easier to use (one-handed operation) and the biggest
plus is that it uses regular bags--no special liners to buy.Ha!Take
that, Playtex!

(More customer reviews)These are plain and
simply the best diapers on the market. I can't say nearly as much
for regular Pampers, Huggies, or even Luvs. We tried every brand
available when my son was born a size preemie - nothing would fit
on him, and everything leaked! We had our hospital guests running
out for us to find us preemie onsies, sleepers, and diapers. Then
we finally decided to try these, and they still fit him, no matter
what he's growing like at the time. They're super stretchy and the
softest diaper I've felt. Nothing scratchy touching the baby, and
since they stretch and fit comfortably snug no matter what, you
never have a pile of left over diapers that don't fit him anymore,
when they go up to a new size. They fit till the end, and they
overlap each other in size rage so there are no weird periods of
growth when he's an 'in-between' size. They are also SUPER
absorbant. We've changed more than one leak from Huggies, (regular)
Pampers, and Luvs and most of them were all from 'weird angle!'
accidents and the diapers were barely wet. With Swaddlers you go to
change the diaper and it's as heavy as a softball and you're just
flabberghasted. They pull everything away from his skin, and are
just plain and simple = wonderful.

(More customer reviews)We bought the
Deluxe Hip Hammock when they first came out. I chose the deluxe
over the regular hip hammock because I liked the fabric much
better. The regular has fleece fabric which I do not like. The
deluxe is less fuzzy. The deluxe also comes with a cell phone
pocket and a washing bag, but I don't really use those much. If you
like fleece or live somewhere that doesn't get too hot, then you
could save a considerable amount of money by getting the regular
version.
The first one that we had was part of the recall. I contacted
Playtex by e-mail and they sent me a bag to return it and then they
sent me a new Deluxe Hip Hammock. The whole process only took a
couple of weeks.
The Hip Hammock has worked pretty well for us. My son is very
active and will not sit in shopping carts or strollers. So I needed
a way to carry him while I am shopping and still be able to push a
cart. When we bought it he weighed around 20 pounds and we could
carry him for quite a while. We carried him all over Disney World
in it when he was 16 months old. However, now that he weighs more
than 25 pounds the amount of time that I can comfortably carry him
has gotten considerably shorter. Even though the carrier may put
some of the weight on your waist there is still some pressure on
your shoulder. It does not put the weight on your hip in the same
way that just carrying a baby on your hip does. Pulling the strap
tighter puts more of the weight on your hips, but if you pull it
too tight the shoulder strap rests on your neck which gets really
uncomfortable really quick. So, I have learned to make sure that
the strap is loose enough to stay on my shoulder. (Not too loose
though). The strap has a generous pad, but I think that it would be
improved by making the strap wider, perhaps enough to cup the
shoulder. Also, the pad has a tendency to twist around the wrong
way.
It is really easy to put on and take off. It takes less than a
minute and I have no problem doing it by myself. Make sure you read
the safety information. When not in use it rolls into a little
bundle with the help of the button and loop. It is small enough to
fit in a large diaper bag. I have always used small diaper bags, so
I usually used the key clip to clip it to something.
Overall it has proved really useful and I think worth the money. I
am looking forward to getting even more use out of it with my next
child. Just don't expect it to make your child weightless. It does
still put some strain on your shoulder. And don't expect it to be
usefull all the way to 35 pounds.

(More customer reviews)Be advised...many
of these reviews are for the OLD Diaper Genie, but the NEW Diaper
Genie works great!!My daughter is six and a half months old. After
fighting with the Neat Diaper Disposal System by Safety First (Way
too wasteful!!!)for six months, we decided upon the Diaper Genie
based on the recommendation of my cousin. We LOVE it!!The new
version is very easy to use.To refill it, you simply drop the
refill in, tie a knot in the bag, and you're ready to use
it.Disposing of a diaper couldn't be easier...you just push in a
diaper until it is between the clamps, close the lid, and turn the
wheel a couple of times (We have found four to be the 'Magic'
number.).I love how it 'sausages' the diapers into individual
portions of the bag.It keeps in odors as well as anything.Let's
face it...poop stinks.Any diaper disposal should be emptied at
least two to three times a week, or it will become unbearable.Be
advised, if you feed your baby anything other than breastmilk or
formula, use the Stage Two bags!!Emptying it is a cinch...just turn
the wheel an extra couple of times, push down the cutter button
while turning the wheel a half turn, turn the wheel until the
button pops up, open, and empty...EASY!!Unlike another reviewer, I
see no way that you could reach the blades that cut the bag. They
are covered for safety. (I tried every way I could think of before
writing this just to be sure.) Another hint of something I have
done is to apply restickable stickers to the Diaper Genie to match
my daughter's nursery. We used ones you can peel and reuse. They add
some 'glam' to an otherwise 'blah' diaper disposal.Overall, we love
the Diaper Genie, if you can love a diaper disposal. :)It works
great for us!!

(More customer reviews)I have been using
Playtex Bottles with liners since my second child was born. I must
say I loved the drop-ins until the expandable drop-ins came out.
When my 3rd child started using 8 oz, I started searching for an
alternative. I stumbled across these on Amazon and after some quick
math, realized that these liners priced at $5.99/free shipping for
140 liners were the absolute cheapest liners you could get. So I
had to try them. My aunts assured me that they were all that they
used with their children and it wasn't that bad. They really aren't
bad. In fact, there are some things I like better about them. I
love that if you squeeze the air out of these that there is no
chance of the liner popping off the ring and milk going everywhere.
I love the more compact packaging and that the liners can be pulled
easily out of the carton when needed. They do only go to 8 oz but I
have never had a baby to take more than 8 oz at one time. The only
flaw I can find is that it does take a few extra seconds to get the
liner in the bottle than a drop-in but for the perks I will live
with it.

(More customer reviews)The new Roundabout
50 is a very useful addition to the Britax line, if it matches what
you're looking for. It's a somewhat compact seat with the safety and
convenience features Britax offers (though with a couple
convenience feature changes).And it's Roundabout-level price makes
it a very good value, as a safe seat that will have a long useful
life.
The notable differences vs. the original Roundabout is that this
model can handle a child of up to 50 lbs, and up to 49 inches in
height.(The original Roundabout was 40 lbs and 40 inches.)Given
that a lot of children will outgrow the height of the chair before
they outgrow the weight, this provides another somewhat compact
option for parents, and lengthens the amount of time the chair is
useful.
By the way, this seat is a "Roundabout" only in concept - a
somewhat compact, moderately priced seat (compared to the rest of
the Britax line). It isn't physically a version of the original
Roundabout.Reportedly it's actually based on the Decathlon, and it
does have the same overall dimensions and weight and very similar
details like strap heights. (Though the Decathlon has the extra
HUGS padding and more pillows.)So you may want to read comments on
the Decathlon, too, if you're wanting more info on this new
model.
Other important differences relative to the earlier Roundabout:
- Larger (19.5 W x 27.5 H x 25.5 D vs. 18.5 W x 24.5 H x 24 D).
- Bigger seat area (9.5 D x 11.5 W, vs. 9 D x 11 W)
- Heavier (15.5 lbs vs. 13.1 lbs.), but still lighter than many
seats.
- Four harness slot heights, so seated shoulder height of 10.75"
(rear facing) to 16.25" (forward facing), vs. three heights with a
range of 10.5" to 15".
- Three buckle strap depths (2.4", 4.4", 6.4") rather than just one
(6.6").
There are a couple features the Roundabout had that you may miss
having on the Roundabout 50:
- The Roundabout 50 does not have the push button harness
adjustment, which many parents really (really) liked on the
original Roundabout.Instead it uses a lift lever.
- The Roundabout had built in belt lock offs, while the Roundabout
50 uses a locking clip.(We use the LATCH system on our own cars,
the lockoffs were nice because they were easy to use on rental
cars, but I imagine we'll adapt.)
I don't find any of these seats especially compact, though! We have
a large station wagon and the back seat is very crowded with two.So
you'll want to research how it fits in your specific car - since
this model is new, perhaps see what people say about the Decathlon
and your car.
We bought a 50 to use as our older child grows, and we'll use the
smaller original Roundabout for the younger child, to help a little
with the space in the back.
We did use another car seat (with a base and a detachable bucket)
for the first several months, because we found it easier to put a
newborn baby in the seat in the house and use that to carry her
around in that, than to try to use a seat permanently installed in
the car. So I can't say what it's like to use either of the
Roundabouts with a newborn.
And just a reminder to keep your child rear facing well past the
old 1 year / 20 lb guideline, if your circumstances make that at
all possible - a quick web search will give you the safety
facts. This larger seat will help somewhat with making that
possible.

Protection, which is a system composed of the rigid seat shell, the
deep side walls, and energy-absorbing foam lining the shell that
work together to distribute crash forces, shield from vehicle
intrusion, and contain the head, neck and body.
Superior 360-Degree Protection to Minimize the Risk of
Injury
In addition to side impact protection, the Roundabout 50 offers a
variety of superior crash force management features to keep your
child properly positioned and protected. First, the patented,
energy-absorbing Versa-Tether has staged-release tether webbing,
anchoring the top of the seat at two points to minimize forward
movement. For growing children, its tangle free, five-point harness
offers four harness heights and three buckle positions for a snug
and secure fit.
Superior Fit and Comfort Features
Whether children are watching the world go by or snuggling in for a
nap, they'll enjoy that the Roundabout 50 reclines in both the
forward and rear position. With additional features which include
high-density comfort foam for extra padding, and a plush cover set
with a matching belly pad for comfort, they'll always ride in style
and comfort.
Superior Ease-of-Use for Safety and Convenience
Packed with perks for parents, the Roundabout 50 makes it easy to
secure your child in the proper position without guesswork.
Premium, push-button lower LATCH connectors make for quick, simple,
and tight installation.
Additionally, a small contoured base ensures a tight installation
in all types of vehicle seats. Convenient holders keep harness
straps out of the way when you're placing your child in the seat,
and a front harness adjuster makes it easy to loosen and adjust the
harness system.
