The world is moving at a faster speed; competition, desire to achieve money and power have made lives more hectic and monotonous. There is hardly any time for leisure. But sometimes excessive stomach growling can be a symptom of digestive disorder or other health problems. Be it gastrointestinal disorder, constipation or so on. Therefore, you must consult your health care provider if it is accompanied by diarrhea, bloating etc. Rest all you need to do is to feed yourself whenever you feel hungry. Don’t remain empty since different types of acids are released when you feel hungry. And if not fed at the time, these various acids may react and may lead to intestinal problems.

There are times when you are in good shape but suddenly a striking punch of bulky flab starts peeping out from the least expected crannies of your body disfiguring your hour glass figure! It is what I had been traumatized with too. Believe me folks a tarnished figure is more painful than the arrival of wisdom tooth. So my tryst began that day when I saw those ugly and bulky love handles visible enough when I wore my skinny jeans and found it suddenly tight on the hips. It is pretty difficult to explain since my waist size was just the right only a little below those tardy pouches of fat fogged away my figure from an hour glass to a de-shaped one.

Though experts believe that love handles are all fat clogs which cannot be eradicated with exercises or diets but still you can mince out a few tactics to let them pass of. So to gain back your hour glass figure, I have a simple plan. If you want to join me, go through the tricks laid down here:

  • Brisk walking and biking are both good enough for you to let the love handles die a natural death. But this will also help tone your entire body and help you lose weight in general as well. At the same time doing any of these once in a while will definitely not help. So better adopt a steady flow of exercises every day to gain desired results.
  • Crunches that include weight will help you shrink the size of your hips. Using dumbbells is a good idea to target those ugly patches. Just hold the dumbbell stand straight and then bend your torso making it reach the floor slowly. Now use the abdominal muscles to come back to a straight position.
  • Lat pull down too can be a progressive mode of exercising for you. It will enhance the tonality of your physical structure and accentuate your body shape. It will help reduce your hips and widen your upper body. This exercise will surely help you reclaim your figure.

Tone Up Your Lower Back with Few Simple Exercises


The unsightly back fat adds pounds to your body weight and defiles your bodily appearance. It may seem weird to have pockets of fat on your back, but some people owing to genetics and lack of exercise do develop back fat. Getting rid of fat from some specific spots is quite difficult but with the help of the target oriented strength exercises mentioned below you can definitely tone your back and improve your overall appearance. These exercises are great to reduce back pain and can even furnish for you strong limbs.

Back extensions

Lie down straight on the floor placing both your hands sideways. Lift your head and upper body off the floor and form a comfortable arc with your back. Stay on at this position for at least 3-7 seconds and then return to your original position resting carefully on the floor.

Straight arms and legs lift

Recline straight on the mat facing downwards and stretch both your hands above your head forming a v-shape. Similarly stretch your legs in v-shape on the floor. Concentrating your balance on the mid-section on the floor, raise your head, arms and legs. Hold on in this position for 3-6 seconds and then rest back on the floor.

Diagonal arm and leg lift

Just like you performed the straight arms and leg lift, start the diagonal lift by lying on the mat facing downwards and stretch your arms and legs in v-shape. Then raise your left arm and right leg slightly above the ground, for a few moments and then return to lie on the floor. Repeat the exercise by raising the right arm and left leg.

Stability ball back extension

Lie on a stability ball with curled face down and your lower abdomen and pelvis on the ball. Rest your hands behind your head. Elevate your upper torso with your back straight and feet still at rest. Don’t strain your back; just remain in a straight pose without too much arch. Return back to your initial position.

If with these exercises, you ever experience back pain then better stop it right away. These exercises need to be incorporated in your regular fitness regimen and complemented with a sensible diet so as to get a trim and toned taut body. These simple exercises will blow a magic to the shape and appearance of your body doing away with the fat on your lower back.

Pregnancy, A Crucial Period in the Life of a Woman

Life begins with a single cell in the womb of a mother. Motherhood is the most beautiful part in the life of a woman and every woman aspires to experience it at least once in a lifetime. It is after your pregnancy is confirmed your wait begins for a period of nine months and ten days. But this period may vary at times.

The first time you discover you are pregnant your world takes a leap to another stage. The feeling of being pregnant encompasses you with a blend of emotions. But how to find out if one is pregnant? Missing a period, nausea, vomiting, tenderness in the breast, sore nipples, frequent urination, changes in taste and smell are some of the common symptoms in women during pregnancy. Giving birth to a life is not an easy task; it requires extra energy and strength. Therefore before you plan to get pregnant it is very essential to give oneself fully in body and mind to form and nurture the new life within.

For Mom-to be, it is of utmost importance to concentrate on a balanced diet. Include a variety of foods in your diet because at this stage the body requires more minerals and vitamins. Stress on the quality rather than the quantity. Include folic acid and iron. During pregnancy the body demands some extra calories to meet the needs of your growing baby therefore, it is essential to consume food rich in calorie.

In order to avoid constipation during pregnancy include lots of fiber in your diet. Take fruits, vegetables, whole wheat bread, cereals, brown rice and pulses. Not only this, add fluid to your diet or else increasing fiber without fluid will lead to constipation. Exercise regularly to regain your body shape after the baby is born. It even gives strength to the body to endure the labor stress.

But do avoid smoking and stay away from alcohol. It may lead to facial deformation and mental retardation in the baby.

Prenatal care is important both for the baby and the mother-to-be as well. Visit the physician regularly, the first examination should be within sixth to eight week. Follow the advice of the physician and visit him as prescribed. Make sure you go for prenatal tests comprising of blood tests, urine tests, cervical tests and one ultra sound at least.

Pregnancy is a stressful period, all you need is a little extra care- practice yoga, regular meditation, take rest, talk to your relatives and friends, listen to music, avoid activities that involve risk of falling or getting injured. And it is very vital that the husband be empathetic and supportive. After all, you are blessed with a life within you.
