Recently there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of moisturizing body wash products available on the market, especially for men. On my last trip to the grocery store I found myself in the personal care section and decided to give one of the Old Spice Body Washes a try. With all of the commercials that have everybody talking I figured why not give it a shot to see if it lives up to the hype.

One of the selling points for the Old Spice Red Zone products is that there new eight hour scent technology. There are quite a few different scents to choose from like, After Hours, Swagger and Show Time. I decided to give the Swagger fragrance a try. When you are trying to decide what fragrance you may want to try, I would suggest opening each type and giving them a good smell because the names that they have chosen are not a clear indicator of their smell.

Even though I shower earlier in the day when I got home I hopped in the shower with a strange sense of excitement over trying out a new Old Spice body wash. I guess I got caught up in all the hype from the commercials that they had been promoting heavily on TV. Once I got in the shower and got ready to use the Old Spice body wash I opened the bottle and poured some on my luffa and began to lather up. After making sure to apply the body wash to my entire body I began to rinse it away. It did seem like it took a little bit extra effort to fully remove the soap but overall I felt clean, fresh and smelled great when I got out of the shower and dried off.

Once I was done of the shower and got dressed and went about my day and even though my wife thought I was crazy I kept asking her to smell me to see if the claims of the eight hour scent technology were justified. The first time I asked her to smell me was about an hour later and she said that I still smelled great. After about four hours since I got out of the shower I asked her to smell me again. She said that while she could still smell the scent she thought that it wasn't as strong. Finally after about eight hours I asked her again to perform the smell test and she stated that there was still a hint of the aroma but for the most part it had dissipated completely.
