Who was the first Salem Witch? Was it Tituba? Or was it one
of the nineteen men and women, all having been convicted of
witchcraft, that were carted to Gallows Hill, a barren slope near
Salem Village, for hanging. They where believed to have sold
themselves to the Evil One, and that he gave them power to harm
other people. And what made them more dangerous was the fact that
they did not need to go near people to harm them, but could do evil
at a distance by thinking wicked thoughts, or saying wicked words.
