Therefore, one should use a Crest Strip product such as the entry-level system Classic Whitestrips Classic Whitestrips-Crest Dental Whitening System, 56 Strips, or a stronger product like Crest Whitestrips Premium Crest Whitestrips Premium- 7- Day Dental Whitening Formula System, 28 Strips before the Daily Multicare Formula with Tarar Inhibitor is used.

This product is used for just 5 minutes a day to maintain the whiteness of (previously) bleached teeth. (All the other Crest Whitestrip products advise a 30-minute treatment, once or twice a day protocol).There are virtually no side-effects, such as sensitive teeth, or "burned" gums, as the contact time is just 5 minutes. This system has a 6% hydrogen peroxide gel, the same as Crest Classic Whitestrips. A tartar inhibitor is included for those who form tartar easily.

An alternative to this product of daily bleaching maintenance is to use one of the original systems again, such as Classic Whitestrips for 1-2 weeks to restore the bleach white color of the teeth.

Crest White Strips come in as many as 7 different formulations, which can be quite confusing to the consumer. Please remember the key difference in all these products is the strength of the hydrogen peroxide gel, and of course the price. The higher the dose of hydrogen peroxide, the faster the bleaching result, and the most costly as well. Here is a quick summary of the products:

1. Crest White Strips Classic. This is Crest's first bleaching product, introduced in 2001. It has a 6% hydrogen peroxide gel, and is applied twice a day for 30 minutes for 14-days of treatment. It is still a very popular product, and perhaps offers the lowest number of side-effects.

2. Crest White Strips Premium came out in 2004. It is a 10% hydrogen peroxide gel, applied twice a day for 30 minutes each session, for 7-days of treatment. The 10% hydrogen peroxide strength offers a quicker bleaching result, but perhaps with more tooth and gum sensitivity.

3. Crest Pro Effects came out in 2008. It is another 10% hydrogen peroxide gel, but offers a 10-day treatment protocol - again, twice a day for 30 minutes each time.

4. Crest Advanced Seal is the latest product (February, 2009), and it also has a 10% hydrogen peroxide, twice a day, 30-minutes a day, 10-day treatment. The main advantage to this system is that the strip is more adherent to the teeth, and the user can talk, exercise, drive, be active, even drink fluids, with the strip in place. The other systems advise the user to be stationary for the 30-minute treatment time.

5. Daily Whitening Multicare is another 6% hydrogen peroxide gel strip. It is used just 5-minutes/day.The only difference between this product and the featured product is the lack of a tartar inhibitor.

In using any of the Crest bleaching products, please follow the specified instructions that come with each product.

Crest White Strip products work for the vast majority of people. Younger people with yellow stains seem to respond better than older people or those with gray stains. If you have severely stained teeth, especially those with tetracycline (an antibiotic) stain, the strips may not work well for you.

If you are not satisfied with the results and still want whiter teeth, you can then see your dentist for a more concentrated in-office form of bleaching (called "power bleaching").

I gave this product a 3-star rating, as I don't think the consumer needs a tartar-inhibitor in the bleaching agent. Normal everyday brushing and flossing should keep tartar away. Jim "Konedog" Koenig, DDS

It coudn't work as the seller (producer) say it does because it simply designed the way it can't perform properly. The currency can't go through the rubber brissles, so while there is light going through the wholes, the rubber brissles don't massage your scalp.
Also, Loren (one of the owners of Balkowitsch Enterprises) was rude and didn't want to discuss the deficiency of this product. I have to pay shipping cost out of pocket to return the merchandise.

We have a couple of dogs and cats, and as great as they are they aren't accident free...whether it knocking something over or getting sick, my carpet has definitely seen better days!
I'm in the process of using right now and I can already see a big difference!! I'm using a cleaning brush instead of a mop just so I can make sure I get the stains out and I really don't have to scrub that much! This stuff is great! It doesn't leave that soaked carpet that doesn't completely dry. I can tell that my husband is even impressed even though he won't come out and say it : )
I am very happy and would definitely recommend it!

Rug Doctor Mighty Pro Carpet Cleaner Review

(More customer reviews)Wow...did a pro just clean my carpet......On Saturday I cleaned my carpet not including the stairs because I'm missing a part of my Bissell steamer...I'll get the stairs later. The carpet was very dirty and a lot of dirt came up and overall looked pretty good for a standard home steamer.BTY it took H O U R S for the carpet to finally dry with a number of fans blowing in the room.But I still need to clean the stairs...mmmmm.

I saw an ad for $75.00 off of the Rug Doctor Mighty Pro Carpet Cleaner with attachment for cleaning stairs, after reading all the reviews it sounded like a good machine...I told myself....we will see...

So I designed to bit the bullet and pick one up at the local store, with the idea that if it didn't work well for me I could return it to the store.

Well on Sunday I re-cleaned the same carpet that I just cleaned the day before (with the Bissell) with the Rug Doctor Might Pro and............OMG......are you kidding me the dirt was un-believable that the Rug Doctor got out of my "CLEAN" carpet.

With a dog and family coming in and out all day our light color carpet get dirty fast, normally I just call a pro to come over and clean, man I'm sick of paying hundreds of dollars for the pro's to come in and clean the carpet and stairs...well through days are "O V E R" never again will I pay a pro to clean my carpet, this Rug Doctor Mighty Pro machine works great, easy to use and the set up...five minutes from box to cleaning...it's a no brainier...I'm impressed with this machine and it takes a lot to impress me.

I don't write many reviews but, I just needed to tell everyone about my experience with the rug doctor pro.

Others have said it's hard to know when the cleaning solution is gone...it's all in the sound, the machine will make a different sound to let you know when you need to add more cleaning solution, which goes in the bottom of the machine, the dirty tank sits on top and is easy to empty.I found myself filling the solution tank twice before I needed to empty the dirty tank.

This machine also came with a long hose and cleaning head attachment (Upholstery Kit) for cleaning stairs and tight spaces and car upholstery.The changeover was easy to do and the hose is long enough (12ft) to do ? the stairs from the top and the other ? from the bottom with room to spear, but I have to be honest with you...cleaning the stairs isn't easy, that's why the pro's charge per step...just do one at a time and soon they will be done. Drying time was cut in half with this machine which was very impressive, only took about 4-hours with fans blowing in the room for the carpet to dry completely. The Bissell and Hoover machines are no match to this machine.

Monday morning the carpet looks great my wife said it looks better than it did when the professional came in and cleaned the carpet...This Rug Doctor just paid for itself with the very first use...I will not be taking this back....

I now have a used Bissell cleaning machine for sale...cheap.....lol..:-)

Pros: Don't waste your money on the cheap brands, spend a little more on this machine, you'll be glad you did.
Cons: Little heavy but that's could be a good thing, more pressure on the carpet and a little loud.

Update: Transported to my mom's house with ease, cleaned her carpet and again better than a pro.

I would highly recommended this machine, cost a little more but worth every penny.Do your our research and read more review and you will agree that this machine out performs the other brands, hands down...good day!
