(More customer reviews)I make my living cleaning houses.I have used many sources to keep me organized (tote bags, plastic caddy, crates), however, everything usually becomes too small or completely disorganized.This little rolling bag keeps me on top of things.The little pockets on the outside is quite handy keeping all my tools and gadgets readily available for my reach.I also keep sponges in a cup out there to keep everything else dry in the bag.

I also make a point of rolling the bag indoors so it is easy for me to move room to room (and not outside.)The handles are nice when I need to move things from the car to the house and vice versa.

This is a house cleaner's "wish list" item.I love my rolling bag.This one gets a 5 star from me.

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old is really too old for this but she still likes it anyways.This is the newer version which has the base you set it upon to charge it (opposed to plugging it in), which is nice for safety reasons, but can be knocked off easily.It also has the smart timer which means that it shuts off after a certain amount of time with out having to do any thing which allows it to last longer between charges.Pink is a medium glow, orange is a low glow, and green is a bright glow (from my experience).Love it!

(More customer reviews)Versatile Ladder, Adjusts to 7 positions as a step ladder which can be climbed on both sides, 8 extension ladder heights, 6 stairway ladder positions (one side is adjusted longer than the other side) and can be separated into two step ladders with a board ran between them for 3 Scaffold heights.
Will fit into most car trunks when folded up, dimensions are 56"L by 8"H by 24"W. Is sturdy with 300lb rating and the neighbors are curious about how the ladder works. Basically you do not need both a stepladder and extension ladder, works as both. Also when folded up it takes up little room not like my 18ft extension ladder that has to be hung up in my garage and a pain to get out of the garage if my truck is parked there. Another great thing is the ladder can be adjusted to the right height, which makes it easier to get on and off my roof.
If a ladder can be fun to use this one is, can be adjusted to cover many different job situations which standard ladders just can not do.

I like them up more but these are still fine for most walkways. The heads even fit 10 year older model posts with the three tabe twist on design.

(More customer reviews)Recently I almost bought a wheelbarrow to use in my lawn and garden, but I changed my mind at the last second; I remembered all the reasons I resented my last wheelbarrow (flat tires, tipping over on uneven/steep terrain, killed my back, etc.), and I just didn't want to go through that again.

Then I saw an interesting alternative at Lowes.It was a Duraworx brand cart -- a giant, yellow, "metal" made-in-China wagon.I can't find the same product here on Amazon (or even on Lowes' website), but Amazon sells something that looks very similar Grizzly H0771 Folding Side Garden Wagon.Sadly it was complete and utter G A R B A G E.One of the pot-metal axle braces broke as I was assembling it, and I ended up returning it to Lowes the same day I bought it.Luckily it broke early on instead of a month later when I was hauling something heavy -- and undoubtedly wouldn't have known where the receipt was for returning it.

With all that as a backdrop, I began looking for something that wasn't a wheelbarrow or a crappy wagon, and would still be useful for hauling things around the yard.The big-box home improvement stores had a ridiculously narrow selection, and they were all traditional wheelbarrows or crappy wagons.So I decided to see what the small mom & pop hardware store (Aubuchon Hardware actually) down the street had.That's where I came across the 6 cu ft Loadumper.

I could go on and on with this circumlocution for the rest of the review, but how about a change of pace?I'll just say how I feel about the Loadumper in as few words as possible:

Pros:
-----
- Extremely lightweight, yet sturdy
- Very useful capacity (6 cu ft)
- Back friendly: no bending and lifting as with a wheelbarrow
- You can push it or pull it -- one-handed if you desire
- Very easy to tilt basin and fully dump out contents
- It came pre-assembled

Cons:
-----
- Pricey: about twice the cost of a 6 cu ft wheelbarrow
- Wheels might go flat one day:)

I can't comment on the long-term durability, since I've only owned it a short while.But it seems quite well built, and it has handled heavy loads just fine so far.It's an absolute pleasure to push/pull around the yard...particularly compared to a wheelbarrow.

I wanted to share this review in case there were others out there on the fence about wheelbarrow vs wagon vs cart.I highly recommend the Loadumper.If you live in New England, you might be able to check your local Aubuchon Hardware store to get a feel for the product in person.

(More customer reviews)Finally got my log splitter hooked up and running.It was a bit painful to find the hoses and get the right connections for my tractor.I ran it for about 5 hours this weekend and it works great!I have it connected to my JD2320 compact utility tractor and I only came across one piece of cherry that I couldn't split, (which contained a large cross branch in it).I split maple, cherry, apple, pine, you name it, we have it and this machine went through it smooth and efficient.Some of the pieces were logs over 16 inches diameter and I would split them once and then roll over and split the other way to make the first split.It worked great, don't limit yourself by the description of only being able to split smaller stuff!Tractor has plenty of power and being able to split both ways definitely is a great benefit to make the job faster.I would recommend that the top bracket be reinforced a little more as mine is a little bent from the torque on the big pieces.I straightened it out, but does make me concerned for the long term.Definitely recommend this as a great addition to any home wood burning/cutting people.

(More customer reviews)I have had these nail guns for several years.I purchased the set without the staple gun for $299.This is an incredible bargain and you will find thousands of uses for these nail guns.I use the 18 gauge nailer the most to assist with glue ups.I have never had a jam with any PC nail gun that I use.(knock on wood)The compressor is a little loud for my tastes.If you will use this in an enclosed area like a basement, I suggest making a cabinet for it to muffle the sound.Fine Woodworking magazine - Tools & Shops annual issue- on page 106 gives an illustration of how to make one.It works.

December 7, 2008 Update: I have used my compressor for endless hours. I drain the compressor before and after each use. I have yet to experience any problems after all these years.

Update: 1-9-09: I still am completely satisfied with this tool kit. I have yet to have any problems from the compressor or nail guns.

BUT if they get wet, throw them out, they no longer compress enough to hold the form long enough to be inserted into the ear canal. Just ordered my umteenth box of 100. Hammer Driver/Drill:Definitely the star of the combo kit!Powerful performance (550 in./lbs. of torque). Solid design, comfortable rubber molded handle aids operation, and rubberized trigger and convenient direction/lock-off switch add to ease of use.It is heavier than most 18-volt models though. Includes nice keyless chuck, 24 clutch settings, two speed ranges, and very well designed mode-change collar for three operating modes. Long bits can be stored on board.

Reciprocating Saw:Cuts quickly and smoothly with a relatively low level of vibration. This is unquestionably a tough, effective saw, capable of most any job. Body design increases grip and control, large variable speed trigger fits naturally in hand. Top mounted thumb switch works very well to switch between two speed ranges or to lock trigger. The quick-locking, steel blade-clamp system makes for fast and easy tool-free blade changing.

Circular Saw:Smooth, powerful and well balanced. Nice rubber overmold on handles and well placed lock-off switch and trigger. Bevel adjustment works well, but depth adjustment sometimes sticks. Well-designed shoe. Excellent blade brake. On board blade change wrench.

Batteries and Charger:A little known bonus is that the batteries are actually 20-volt (5 cells of 4 volts each). The tools and charger work with both Lithium-Ion and NiCad batteries. Batteries maintain full strength until power runs out. The fuel gauge on the batteries is especially helpful. Batteries fully charged in 1 hour.

Work Light: Nice swivel head with a bright bulb.

Carrying Case:Hard molded plastic with exact fit for tools, batteries and charger.

(More customer reviews)Almost 40 years ago it was my job to write a technical description of a small Chinese lathe that my employer wanted to offer for sale. I was impressed with the technical skill and workmanship of that first Chinese machine tool offered in North America.
Now I am the owner ofa shiny new Chinese combo lathe / mill from Grizzly.
My new machine arrived with much more than was advertised. It has a quick change lathe spindle nose instead of the far more common bolt on style chuck mount.
Included with the lathe was a 3 jaw & 4 jaw chuck plus a face plate whereas most of the similar small lathes offered today come with one bolt on 3 jaw chuck. To round out the chucks there was also a face plate!
When I dug a bit deeper into the lathe accessories I also found a quick change tool post.The tool carriers are grooved for boring bars too.
Although this is a small hobby lathe the tool system can accommodate 1/2" square tools.
When I setup the mill I found it was equipped with a quick change Colet set and a milling vice too!
Does this machine have any down sides? Yes. Are they major? Well, not exactly.
The G0516 is not a geared head lathe. It requires shifting the V belt for spindle speed changes. The new belt is really tight and hard to shift from one groove to the next. Back gearing is by a cogged belt, no gear changes on the spindle.
Feed changes and thread cutting requires mounting different gears. Some of the gear changes provide a bit of a challenge. Thread cutting to a shoulder requires skill and patience (there is no thread dial or spindle brake).
From the very first lathes with automatic feeds/ thread cutting, fitting of the shaft support has been a challenge for the machine fitters. My machine is no exception, the shaft support is misaligned. Winding the carriage to the far right causes the feed screw to bind in the half nut base.
The milling head and column are well made and run well. Removing the installed drill chuck required the application of brute force. Seems this is not unusual, someone else wailed about the problem of removing the drill chuck in another forum. Anyone wishing to precision bore a deep hole would be wise to carry out a careful perpendicular alignment of the milling column. My machine has no indication of any alignment checks by the builder and there is no accuracy certificate with the machine.
Overall I am pleased with the design and craftsmanship of this hobby machine.
I feel it is well worth themodest cost.
One word of caution. This is a heavy piece of equipment. It requires care and forethought before attempting to move it from the solid wood crate to a final resting place. It also needs to be bolted down, albeit the maker has neglected to provide bolt down dimensions!. I used a chain hoist , wood wedges and a counter balance cable between the hoist chain and the end of the lathe bed to keep things on a even keel while hoisting.
I know I will have many hours of pleasure from my new toy!
