Greetings and welcome, everyone!
It is good to be back providing a little positive motivation and uplift to you good people. It has been a rather interesting year attempting to get this video blog started again, but I am back and ready to give you some Balance in your life.
Today, we are discussing the reading challenge I am involved in this year. I am dedicated to reading 12 books this year, one book a month and am off to a great started.
Thus far, I have read or am reading:
January – “Harvard Business Review on Entrepreneurship”
February – “Pitch Anything” by Oren Klaff
Let me know in the comments below or on the Facebook page. Looking forward to connecting with you!

Greetings Good People,
The big day is almost here. Today marked the last day of training. The next time I run will be in the 26.2 mile marathon. You would think I would be very excited for training to be over, but the truth is I have become so use to running everyday and reporting to you it is going to seem funny.
Nevertheless, I have done the time pounding the pavement and the big pay off of achieving a life goal is ahead of me. Check out the video, get fired up with me, and hopefully you will start checking off life goals in the near future as well.
First in the Mind, then in Reality!

If you don’t have a plan, then you are really trying to sabotage your goals and dreams. It doesn’t matter if what you are pursuing is personal, public, even financial, you need to have a plan. Everyone needs a blueprint to follow and they are venturing to a place where they have never been before. It will help set you up for the success you desire.
I am not going to try to convince you that you need to have a plan today. That is something that should go without being contested. However, I am going to tell you you need to follow that plan, even when things don’t seem to be going right. You must follow that plan, when you don’t feel like putting in the work. You must follow that plan, even when you are down.
There may come a time when
you recognize the isn’t working and it is time for a change. That
is fine. Make the change. Just because you change your plan
doesn’t mean it failed. In fact, you should look at things a bit
differently. If you change your plan, you are recognizing one way
that won’t work towards getting you closer to your goals and
dreams. This is necessary to remove the obstacle out of your way.
Therefore, you should be proud when you find something that isn’t
working because it gives you the opportunity to replace it with
something, a plan, that does and will work. If it falls short
again, then change it again, but don’t give up. Don’t quit. Keep
fighting and following your plan.
On those days when you are a bit hazy, a bit depressed, a bit down, you have to still follow your plan. Let’s say you have a plan or goal to pay of your credit card debt. You are trying to cut money from your budget at every corner, but this one particular day you are a bit down. You are say and not feeling like yourself.
Don’t allow this temporary feeling to hold you back from achieving that goal of eliminating your credit car debt. Don’t allow this depression to force you into buying that extra cup of coffee at lunch, splurging on a cab ride when you said you would walk, hit the local bars after work for a drink, or dash to the shopping mall for some retail therapy.
You cannot allow these temporary droughts in your life to get you off your path of success.
You must remember the that the flower that follows the sun does so even on cloudy days.
This is your cloudy day. This is the day that is holding you back. Doubt and anxiety is creeping into your mindset, but you cannot allow this to get you off track. You must follow your plan. You must follow the sun, so you can blossom into the full beauty and potential you know you are capable.

As you may have seen from our previous post, FreddieTaylor.com has joined the Yakezie Challenge. The personal finance network of bloggers is amazing, but the members have taken things one step further.
This fall, we have organized into smaller teams where will will focus our efforts and help promote one another. I have decided to join Team #5, so things should get even more interesting around here.
These fall teams gives the members a change to associate with different bloggers that they may not have associated with in the past. It is a chance to get close with another group of wonderful people and promote them in the process.
Being this is a complete new blog, the opportunity to work with a group of bloggers like this is wonderful. I am looking forward to it and will do my best to help promote all of them.
Below is the list of bloggers on my Fall Team this year. Take a moment to visit each one of them, learn from their experiences, and enjoy their blogs in the process.

Greetings Blog Family,
The time has come for me to join the Yakezie family. Yakezie is a group of personal finance bloggers dedicated to selflessly helping others promote their websites and blogs. It is a wonderful network of entrepreneurs and blogreneurs. Over the last few months, I have had a great time networking with them, learning, and growing with some of my other websites.
I have been wanting to add FreddieTaylor.com to the network, but had a few hesitations. My main hesitation is the post requirements to be in the group. They ask for each member to post at least twice a week to be in Yakezie. Since I do video post mostly, I don’t really post more than once a week, but I am ready to take it to the next level. At the very least, I will do written post to hit the requirements, but I am ready and excited.
This is a great question. I am a
motivational speaker. However, once you step back and think about
it you see the great connection. In order to build your wealth
and strengthen your personal finance, you need to be motivated.
This will be my major aim on this site to show you the
motivational side of wealth.
In fact, this is going to be my slogan for the site. By providing weekly motivation, I hope to drive the Yaskezie nation to the next level. Public speaking is something I love to do and feel that I am pretty good at it.
Don’t worry, the site won’t be too preachy. I want to bring in real world examples from life as I strive to expand wealth in my world that goes beyond just financial, but incorporate personal growth, health, experience and lifestyle. By increasing your experience and growth in these areas, it will make you more likely to achieve your personal finance goals.
This journey is going to be a fun one. Hopefully, I can position myself as the motivational master of the Yakezie network and drive many of you to succeed and reach all of your personal finance goals. Haven’t discovered many blogs in the network with this niche, so it might turn out to be something special for me.
As of today’s day, my Alexa ranking is 1,395,325. Since this will be my third blog in the Yakezie family, I have become rather good at dropping these Alexa rankings. However, getting my Alexa ranking below the 200K marker isn’t may main goal.
My main goal is to develop my skills as a speaker and presenter to provide quality motivation for the readership and the Yakezie family to grow.
With that said, I am ready to get started and am excited at the challenge. I have long thought my speaking could take front and center in my life, but I have not focused enough time and energy in making this dream a reality. Now is the time and this is the group.
Yakezie!
