To some people
he's a basketball demi-god, while to others he is the most
hated man in NBA today, but whatever you want to think or say
about him LeBron James is hard to ignore.
The kid from
Akron, Ohio first attracted attention when he was in high
school and when, in 2002 he won the Gatorade National Player of
the Year his now famous nickname was first coined - King James.
And ever since then the name LeBron James has become not only a
household name in the US but across the world as well.
But it was not
until 2010 and King James was about to become a free agent for
the first time that he really began to attract the kind of
negative reactions from some fans that he does today. On any
given day if you check LeBron James' Twitter the negative
comments directed his way often outnumber the positive -
especially true after the Miami Heat lost Game 7 of the 2011
NBA Finals - and the crown they had promised to bring to South
Beach - to the upstart Dallas Mavericks.
Why all the
hate for a player who some feel may be better than the great
Michael Jordan? Partly because of his decision to leave the
Cleveland Cavaliers, essentially his hometown team, for the
glamor of the Miami Heat and partly because of the way he made
that choice. In the summer of 2010 Lebron James told the world
that he would announce his choice of team on a live ESPN TV
special "The Decision".
His intentions
were probably good, the money raised would got to the Boys and
Girls Club of America, a cause close to his heart. It was just
the flashy, maybe arrogant, way he did it that evoked all the
ire of these who were not even Cleveland fans.
"The Decision"
was a bad idea from the beginning but apparently no one warned
LeBron about that. Mark Cuban, the outspoken owner of the
Dallas Mavericks called the show "the big gets public
humiliation in history" and ex NBA superstar turned analyst
Charles Barkley a 'punk move" claiming "That was torture. I
want that hour back in my life". The entire city of Cleveland
seemed to turn against their former favorite son overnight, not
so much for the fact he was leaving them to head to the beach
but for the way he announced his intentions to the
world.
The failure of
the Big Three - James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh - to beat the
veteran Mavs did little to make things better. But Lebron does
not seem to care too much. He is still the biggest star in the
NBA today, Lebron James' Twitter has 2.4 million followers and
counting, his talent is nothing anyone questions and his best
years are certainly yet to come. Despite all of the haters, it
is still good to be King James.

These are the Power Rankings for the NBA's best free agents
available for the upcoming season. Teams are officially allowed
to sign free agents on December 9th, while the NBA season will
begin on December 25th.

1. Marc Gasol - Many expect the Grizzlies to
match any offer that Gasol gets, however he is clearly the top
player on the market and should have no problems finding teams
who want to invest in a young and talented center.
2. Nene - He was undervalued during his time in Denver. He will
now get the chance to see that many teams value talented big
men which will make it hard for the Nuggets to keep the
offensively gifted Brazilian.
3. David West - He was the Robin to Chris Paul's Batman. CP3
looked to him often as West can shoot from anywhere on the
floor and will make a solid addition to any team.
4. Jamal Crawford - He was playing behind Joe Johnson during
his time in Atlanta, but has shown the ability to score points
in bunches and should provide a boost to any squad looking for
some outside shooting.
5. Tyson Chandler - It was no coincidence that Dallas was
finally able to break through and win the NBA Championship once
they found a true center. His skills came out in the Lakers
series and made life very difficult for Pau Gasol and Andrew
Bynum.
6. Tayshaun Prince - Prince may have become a forgotten man
with the Piston's struggles over the last few years, but the
athletic lefty can still guard the opponent's best player while
providing his usual slashing/outside shooting skills.
7. Carl Landry - The former Purdue Boilermaker has worked his
way into becoming a solid low post presence for NBA teams
looking to add some offensive punch. He has been traded 3 times
over the last 2 years, but is finally looking to cash in and
become a stable force for the right team.
8. Wilson Chandler - While he is still under contract to play
in China, the versatile swingman proved his worth after getting
traded from New York to Denver in the Carmelo Anthony deal. He
has provided constant energy on both offense and defense ever
since he was drafted into the league.
9. J.J. Barea - Say what you want about the undersized guard,
but the guy can score and played a key role in helping the
Dallas Mavericks win their first ever NBA Championship.
10. Jason Richardson - While he is not the same player he once
was in Golden State, J-Rich can still shoot the 3 and provide
scoring to teams looking for a shooting guard.
11. Chuck Hayes - Never known as a flashy player, Hayes can
rebound and play defense with the best of them. He was a
tremendous asset for the Houston Rockets last year and always
seems to be in the right place at the right time.
12. Thaddeus Young - Another lefty swingman who can play both
offense and defense at a high energy level. He is looking for
the opportunity to become a full-time player and there are sure
to be some teams willing to give him that chance.
13. Kris Humphries - Known more for his failed marriage with
Kim Kardashian than his basketball skills, the former
University of Minnesota product was a double-double machine
down the stretch for New Jersey last season. He provides size
and strength to teams looking to upgrade their front court.
14. Tracy McGrady - T-Mac showed last season that he still has
something left in the tank. He is likely looking to join a
championship contender and the Chicago Bulls come to mind as a
potential suitor to pair with Derrick Rose in the
backcourt.
15. Samuel Dalembert - Dalembert has already been linked to
joining the Miami Heat as they can use a lengthy center to
control the glass and block shots. He should have other suitors
as well as the talented Haitian can control the paint with his
defense.
16. Vince Carter - Also not the player he once was, Vince is
still capable of scoring 30 points a game on any given night.
He needs to find the right situation where his offensive skills
will overshadow his tendency to force contested shots.
17. Shannon Brown - The former Proviso East star and Michigan
State Spartan has never been known for his lack of potential.
He will likely look for a chance to start, while finally
escaping the shadow of Kobe Bryant. Brown has really developed
his game over the last few years and should find teams willing
to give him that chance.
18. Caron Butler - He was starting to find his groove again
before going down with an injury last year for Dallas. Rumor is
he is hoping to resign with the Mavs and should land a one year
deal to help regain his value.
19. Grant Hill - The suddenly durable forward showed that he
can still provide a steady presence as he did for Phoenix last
year. His veteran presence is something teams will look for
when handing out contracts in the next few weeks.
20. Chase Budinger - The former volleyball star really came
into his own last season with the Houston Rockets. His outside
shooting and athleticism will have plenty of teams looking to
add him to their roster.

Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies team was established in 1995 in
Vancouver, British Columbia along with the Toronto Raptors as
part of the NBA's expansion to Canada. It was relocated to
Memphis in 2001. Nickname Grizzlies was chosen after the original
name Mounties was abandoned following objections by the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police and the name was kept upon moving to
Memphis.
The team logo is a snarling Grizzly's face in two shades of
blue with yellow eyes. One of its stars is Spanish Paul Gasol who
was originally drafted by the Atlanta hawks in 2001 but was
traded to the Memphis Grizzlies where he played 7 seasons and won
the Rookie of the Year award in his first season with the
Grizzlies. He now plays for the Lakers.
The team colors are dark blue, powder blue and yellow. The
Grizzlies sport a jersey in white for home games and blue for
road games, both with light blue linings on the side.
Miami Heat
Miami once played home to an ABA team known as the
Floridians, and got its first NBA team in 1988 as part of a
two-phase expansion that also included Orlando Magic, the
Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets. It got its name
after a contest where Flamingos was in close second. It made a
major step in acquiring superstar center Shaquille O'Neal on July
4, 2004. Another important team player is Alonzo Mourning, who is
simply known as "Zo". Zo has earned NBA Defensive Player of The
Year Award twice and is always placed on the NBA All-defensive
team. He made a comeback after undergoing a kidney transplant.
The franchise won its first NBA title in the 2005-2006 NBA season
against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Heats home uniform is in white and the road uniform is
in black. The team also sports an alternate red jersey, which was
introduced during the 2001-2002 season, and is the unofficial
Heat road uniform during the NBA Playoffs. They are also the only
NBA team to place the NBA logo on the right shoulder instead of
having it on the left.

The 2011–12 NBA season, the 66th season of the National
Basketball Association (NBA), will officially begin with the
signing of a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between
the owners of all 30 NBA teams and the NBA's players. The
previous CBA, which was ratified in 2005, expired at 12:01 AM EDT
on July 1, 2011, resulting in a lockout.
The lockout ended on November 26 when a tentative deal was
reached. The season will officially begin once the players,
formerly represented by the National Basketball Players Association, and
the NBA owners ratify the deal. It will be shortened from the
normal 82 games to 66, because of the two months of inactivity.
The season will begin on December 25, 2011 and end on May 1,
2012.

The 1969 NBA
Season was a transitional period in the league. The
league had been dominated for years by the likes of the
Boston Celtics, led by Bill Russell. Russell had at
this point and the league was ready to move on with new
stars taking the lead. The Celtics had won the previous
two championships, but with the loss of Russell they
were certainly at a disadvantage in the 1969-70
season.
The league
was ready for a new team to step up and take the lead.
The New York Knicks appeared to be up to the challenge in
that season. The Knicks were led by Willis Reed. Reed was
the league MVP that season and led the Knicks to the best
record in the National Basketball
Association.
The Knicks
bested the Milwaukee Bucks by winning 60 games on the
season while only losing 22 games. The Milwaukee Bucks
were second in the league in victories at 56. While the
Bucks were not the top team in the league, they were
certainly a dangerous one. The Bucks were led by former
UCLA star Lew Alcindor.
Lew Alcindor
is better known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to most people.
Alcindor was a rookie on a Bucks team that was only 2
years old, but they certainly made a lot of improvement
over the previous season in which they won 27 games.
Abdul-Jabbar was 2nd in the league in scoring, 3 in
rebounds and 7th in the league in field goal percentage
on the season.
The Baltimore
Bullets were the 3rd best team in the league, winning 50
games. This meant that the Eastern Division had the top
three teams in the NBA within their division. The last
team in the playoff picture for the season would be the
Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers finished with a record of
42-40 on the season.
The
non-playoff teams in the Eastern Division were the
Cincinnati Royals, Boston Celtics and the Detroit
Pistons. The Royals managed to win 36 games. The Celtics
saw a large downfall with the departure of Bill Russell
and were only able to reel in 34 victories on the season.
The Pistons were the worst team in the conference with 31
victories.
The Western
Division was won by the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks led the
Western Division with a 48-34 record. The next best team
in the West was the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers were
led by the top scorer in the NBA, Jerry West. The Lakers
had been the losers to the Celtics many times in previous
years and saw the absence of Russell from the Celtics as
a chance for them to jump to the top of the
league.
The Phoenix
Suns and Chicago Bulls were the last two playoff teams,
making the playoffs with sub .500 records of 39-43. The
Seattle SuperSonics, San Francisco Warriors and San Diego
Rockets were the three teams in the conference that did
not make the playoffs.
The Lakers did
indeed make it to the finals again, but once again they
fell short of the NBA Championship. The Knicks would take
the Championship with a 4-3 series victory in the
Finals.

There's a global fight going on between businesses,
organizations, and even sports bodies over the new playing field
that is China. In the realm of sports, the stakes are higher than
ever as profits back home are declining and China is proving to
be a dream new untapped market filled with enthusiastic sports
lovers.
The NBA over the past 20 years has slowly been laying the
groundwork for entrance and eventually expansion into China. When
David Stern first came to China, he was standing outside of the
Chinese CCTV headquarters basically paying the Chinese to display
recorded version of their basketball games.
These past 2 years, things have really picked up and the
NBA is already fast taking over the lives of the all-elusive
18-35 middle class.
Announcement of NBA China entity, opening 12 NBA caliber
stadiums in China, NBA branded reality TV shows on Chinese TV,
plans to open 2000 NBA branded retail shops, and more have
already taken place. Partnerships with global and local
enterprises are speeding up the NBA's domination over its
competitors.
With the NBA struggling mightily back home on it's home
soil - this kind of boost is exactly what was needed. THere has
been speculation going around that the NBA could be headed for
another lockout in the 2011 season with player wages spiralling
out of control in light of the current world financial weather
downturn.
What's in store for the future of the NBA in the Middle
Kingdom? NBA's ambitious plans could well mean securing the last
untapped market in the world as well as the prize of most popular
sport in the world. Nike and Adidas have already seen their sales
increase many fold and the NBA is bound to see similar
success.
China is claimed to have over 300 million basketball fans -
basketball in Shanghai, basketball in Beijing, is as loved as
basketball in New York. But how will the NBA make it all work.
Currently there are more questions than are answers - so it is
most certainly an area that will be exciting to cover.

NBA players are some of the most admired people in our
society. As basketball fans, we tune in nightly to see these
incredible athletes do what they do best. Getting an autograph
from your favorite NBA player can be an incredibly exciting
experience. Many kids (and adults as well) would love nothing
more than to own a unique piece of autographed memorabilia signed
by their favorite player. For example, I am a huge Kobe Bryant
fan and have been since his debut. I have had the pleasure of
owning quite a few Kobe Bryant autographs, and these pieces will
be passed down to my children when the time is right.
When trying to obtain an autograph from your favorite NBA
player, there are a few different approaches you can take. The
first, and most favored approach is to acquire the autograph in
person. Obviously, this is the most exciting way to get the
signature, as you not only get to meet the player, but you know
that the autograph cannot be fake. When trying to obtain the
autograph in person, the best thing to do is to either try and
get to the game early or stay late after the game, in order to
catch the player either arriving or leaving the stadium. It is
important to make sure that you have the item you want signed
ready to go, as well as having a pen or sharpie handy for the
athlete to use. It is always important to be respectful when
asking for a signature!
Another way of obtaining an autograph is to mail the item
to the athlete. This often works best will small items such as
basketball cards. I have had some success mailing the item to the
stadium where the athlete plays. You can also try to see if the
player has a fan club or personal website. Often, there is
information there of where you can send an item to be signed.
When sending things through the mail, it is best to send a self
addressed stamped envelope for the item to be returned easily to
you.
Finally, the easiest way to acquire an autograph is to buy
one either online or at memorabilia shops or shows. Although this
can get expensive, you don't have to go through the trouble of
trying to get the item signed in person or through the mail.
Often, these items come with a certificate of authenticity so you
know that the signature is real. I would highly discourage buying
any piece of memorabilia that doesn't come with a certificate of
authenticity.
The information above should help you when trying to get an
autograph from your favorite NBA player. As always, use personal
judgment as to which method works best for you.

The first dynasty to emerge within the NBA following the 1949
merger of the BAA and NBL was that of the Minneapolis Lakers, who
won five NBA championship titles in six years spanning 1948-1954,
led by center George Mikan, now a legend within the sport.
The next dynasty to emerge within the NBA, during the years
spanning 1957-1969, were the Boston Celtics, competing in twelve
Finals series during that period and winning eleven NBA
championship titles within those thirteen years alone - with
eight of them as consecutive wins from 1959-1966. Leading the
team to its legendary victories were coach Red Auerbach and
players Bill Russell and John Havlicek.
In years absent of NBA dynasties and rivalries upon which fans
can direct their fervor and support, NBA Finals fail to draw
nearly as much attention as in pique years. In the 1970's, eight
different teams succeeded in winning NBA championship titles, and
fan fervor waned temporarily. It grew heated once again, however,
as a rivalry surfaced during the 1980's between the Lakers (led
by Magic Johnson) and the Celtics (led by Larry Bird), both
leading players having entered the league the year before,
carrying over their widely-viewed college basketball rivalry from
their respective teams, Michigan State University and Indiana
State University. Magic Johnson made an even bigger name for
himself when playing in his first NBA Finals in 1980, the
conclusion of his first season in the professional league, and
leading his team to victory after having to play every position
on the court during game six after an injury that took star
player Kareem Abdul Jabbar out of the game, scoring 42 points
contributing to his teams win during his first championship.
Throughout the decade either one or both of the rivaling teams
competed in the Finals - the Lakers won the title five times
(1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, and 1988) and the Celtics won the titles
three times (1981, 1984, and 1986). In 1984, the Celtics and the
Lakers contested one another in the NBA Finals for the first time
since 1969, and the match-up drew the largest NBA game television
audience in the history of the championship. The Celtics emerged
as the victors in a close competing, winning four games to three.
During the 1985 NBA Finals, during the first game of the playoffs
- remembered as the "Memorial Day Massacre" - the Celtics set the
still-standing record of 148 points as the highest point total by
a team in the NBA Finals. However, the Lakers won the
championship title that year in six games, the Celtics losing the
sixth and final game on their home court for the first and only
time in their playoff history.
At the conclusion of the Lakers-Celtics rivalry of the 1980's,
emerged the Chicago Bulls dynasty, spanning 1991-1998, winning
six championships during that eight year period, led by Phil
Jackson as coach and by legendary player Michael Jordan, along
with notables Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. (The only two
losses had been suffered during the two years, 1994 and 1995,
when Michael Jordan temporarily left the team and the sport to
pursue a baseball career instead. During the years he had played
for the Bulls in the play-offs, he had been honored as the
recipient of the Finals MVP rel=nofollow
[http://www.visualawards.com]sports award after each game.) He
returned and began again leading the team to victory in the 1996
play-offs, and continued until the end of the 1998-1999 season.
At the start of the 1999 basketball season, however, Phil Jackson
retired from his position as coach, and the majority of the
teams' strongest players left as well, Michael Jordan and Scottie
Pippen included, effectively ending the team's dynasty and strong
performance record. Since that team's dynasty, the Los Angeles
Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs have dominated the NBA Finals,
winning more titles than any other team combined during the
period since 1999. Each year from 1999-2010, the NBA Finals have
featured either or both of the Los Angeles Lakers (led by Kobe
Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal) or the San Antonio Spurs (led by Tim
Duncan). In 2008, the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers
contested the championship title for the eleventh time in the
history of the playoffs - the first time since 1987 - with the
Celtics emerging victorious in six games, marking their
record-setting 17th NBA Championship. In 2010, they met on the
court for the playoffs once again, this time with the Lakers
emerging victorious, inching upon the Celtics' most titles
record, with this marking their 16th NBA Championship win.

The demo is short, maybe ten minutes long if that. I barely
learned the controls. Luckily I wrote them down. I did play the
NBA 2K12 demo on my Xbox 360, Controls: LT-dribble/shoot, LB-pick
control, LS-move player, RS-shot stick, RT-sprint, RB-icon pass,
Y-post up, B-fake pass, A-pass, X-shot. The controls weren't bad.
They were responsive regarding game play and did what they were
suppose to do. The demo being short had more to do with me not
playing well. That is until I just started throwing up jumpers
with Dirk Nowitzki lol.
After you press start from the main menu screen your immediately
shown a cut scene of superstars from the Miami Heat and Dallas
Mavericks. I didn't get to choose a team or anything. I was just
thrust into the game after the cut scene ended. I ended up with
Dallas. The pre game spectacle was nice from a visual standpoint
using special effects and swooping camera angles to make it seem
like live TV. As soon as the game started I was immediately
impressed and disappointed.
I was impressed by NBA 2K12's fluid visuals and real life
animations on each player. What I wasn't impressed with was the
sound design. No commentators and the sound effects sound
unrealistic. The players faces on close inspection looked like
waxed dummies with a zombified dead look. Completely emotionless
player faces in NBA 2K12. That and the demo being short are the
worst aspects I can take away from the this game. The music in
the demo wasn't very good either.
As far as the actual match went it was Dallas versus Miami like
in the Finals. I was Dallas. Early on I was trying to do way too
much. I finally realized what Dallas did in real life. Just let
Dirk shoot jumpers and that is what I did. Dirk couldn't miss. I
hit two 3's and three 2's. I hit the last 2 with like a second
left in the short demo and won. All my shots were taken with Dirk
Nowitzki and he didn't miss once. I was even hitting jumpers off
balance fade always like Dirk does in real life. It was fun but
short lived. You only play one short quarter then the game
abruptly ends. You're then shown a promo page of all the full
game features that are in NBA 2K12. And that was it for the demo.
Thanks for reading. http://videogames-source.com/

The Employment Outlook today is tough for many people.
According to The United States Labor Department, the average
medium yearly salary is anywhere from $40,00 to $65,000.
Depending on where you live, and your occupation. With two adults
working, it's just enough to pay the rent, cars, insurance etc.
But what if you earned a multi-million dollar salary, like many
of our professional athletes. The NBA Teams are in a battle, a
game of tug of war. This battle is between The Owners, and The
Players. There are no real rules, and neither side is budging, as
the season is slowly slipping by. With pre-season games canceled,
and no agreement, Commissioner Stern now has kept his promise to
cancel the first two weeks of regular season play. All NBA games,
now canceled until November 14. Los Angeles Lakers, Derek Fisher
is the Players Union President, and has been quoted saying that,
"the players are not playing basketball because we are on strike,
we are not playing because, The Owners have locked us out." The
1998-1999 NBA season was reduced to only 50 games. This was a
strike. An agreement was not reached until January 1999. This
Lockout could be as long. Some are saying there may not be a
season at all.
While most NBA players make million dollar salaries, not
all can afford to go an entire year without a paycheck. Rashard
Lewis, Kobe Bryant, Paul Gasol, are some of the highest paid
players. Lewis has a contract that pays him $118 million over six
years. While there are plenty of players that are close to the
minimum salary of $473,000. With that said, NBA Players are still
in a far better position than the thousands of hourly workers
that depend on the NBA's 6-month season. They are the workers
that are employed at the arenas. Security, ushers, parking lot
attendants, and restaurant employees. Most arenas are surrounded
by hotels and restaurants that depend upon the basketball
patrons. Orlando Florida, may be home to Disney World, and a hot
vacation spot, but Orlando will feel the pinch as well. Last
minute details are stalled for the NBA's 2012 All Star Games. The
Games, are set to be hosted by Orlando Magic in their new Amway
Arena. The All Star Games cover an entire week of games and
events mainly held at Amway. Final decisions may be on hold.
So what are some of the players doing? Le Bron James was spotted
playing football at his old High School in Akron, St. Vincent-St.
Mary's. James had been reported talking to The NFL. This is not
true. Kobe Bryant has been linked to rumors that he may sign a
contract in Italy. Many Fans really do not have much sympathy for
the Players or Owners. Together they provide a great and exciting
basketball season, but to be unable to come to an agreement may
be a matter of greed. Many people are asking, How did the
salaries of professional athletes get so out of hand?
The NBA players are employees of their respective teams, and
owners. So why, you may ask, do they want 53% of all ticket
revenues? A 50/50 split is not good enough. They want to make
more than their bosses. Overpaid players cut into franchise
profits, and hurt the basketball business as a whole. Wizard
Rashard Lewis was quoted as saying that. " I'm willing to
sacrifice my salary to get a fair deal". In summary, both parties
do agree on one fact. Nobody will be making any money, if nobody
is playing basketball. It will be interesting to see the final
results, and if we will learn anything from this.

Superheroes are so cool. They can fly. That's pretty cool. They
can shoot sticky web-like substances from their hands. They have
steel fingers that spring out from the hands with the flick of a
wrist. Supercool! But these days superheros are even cooler. No
way! How is that possible? Not only do they have superpowers, the
new age superheroes have tons of money and drive awesome cars.
Heck, they even use state of the art jetpacks. I mean, come on!
How cool is Iron Man? And this Batman guy, he is the coolest cat,
I mean bat, of them all. Have you seen his car?
It is no wonder then, that Bruce Wayne has been immortalized by a
pair of Kobe Bryant shoes. For the last 3 years Nike has dropped
a colorway of the Kobe signature sneaker line that is
appropriately titled the "Dark Knight". Released along side a
pair of his archnemisis, the joker (who, by the way is also very
cool), the Dark Knight has been blessed with his very own Kobe
shoe since 2008. 1 additional model and colorway has already
released with another on it's way. The Kobe IV, V, VI all use
black, silver, and neptune blue to create the coolest colorway
ever seen on a pair of Kobe Bryant shoes. The king of Gotham City
deserves nothing less.
In 2008, the Kobe IV "Dark Knight" was released to rave reviews.
The comfort, stability and most importantly, the colorway, were
one of the coolest pair of kicks to ever hit the market. Due to
the success of the Kobe IV "Dark Knight", Nike released the Kobe
V "Dark Knight" the following year. Perhaps the best looking shoe
of the series, it features a black upper, silver accents, and a
clear translucent outsole. Nothing is cooler on a pair of
basketball kicks than a translucent outsole. Cold-blooded! The
accents of grey on the heel tab and Swoosh along with the dark,
speckled two-toned laces are perfect in representing, the Dark
Knight. The laces are what truly makes this shoe cool. Black
laces speckled with Neptune blue may seem like a small detail.
Wrong! Small details as true sneakerheads know are what makes a
shoe special.
A new colorway of the Kobe VI is on its way and is strikingly
similar to the Dark Knight's of the past. Although it has not
been officially tagged as this years Dark Knight, the resemblance
to the last two year's editions is uncanny. The upper is a
snakeskin textured black tone accompanied by a Neptune blue
Swoosh and featuring silver accents on the heel cup. Sound
familiar?
Bruce Wayne, what a cool dude. Money, cars, and all kinds of cool
body gear. It only makes sense then, that the Kobe Dark Knight
editions would be some of the coolest Nike shoes for basketball.
Not as cool as the Batman, but pretty damn cool.

strongest Western League team. For the second round playoffs are

well but until there are a lot of players got injuries. Odom and
Walton are serious injured. Lakers record has plummeted, and
ultimately forced into the playoffs. But they were easily
defended by Suns, and stopped in the first round of playoffs.
2007-2008, this is an amazing season for Lakers for they make an
intelligent transaction with Brown and Mark Gasol, he is Pau
Gasol, an all-star player. Coupled with the growing maturity of
the young center "little shark" - Andrew Bynum, and super star
Kobe Bryant stable performance. The second key player Lamar Odom,
they can play for the championship once again. After the regular
season, regular season MVP Kobe Bryant was elected. In the first
round of playoffs, they beat Nuggets easily with 4-0. 4:2 beat
Jazz which is the team of Deron - Williams and Carlos Boozer. And
4-1 won the last championship owner Spurs. And this time they
were defeated by the old enemy Celtics combined by tri-giants in
the 2007-2008 season, with many experts were optimistic about the
situation.
2008-2009 season, the team played well, scored the final 65
regular-season win. In the All-Star contest, "OK" is elected as
the MVP. In the first round of playoffs, they easily defeated

The particular Morris Podollof “MVP” award… exactly what
it means and whom justifies it
If you believe MVP a person imagine Stat stuffers via the prior
like his / her airness Michael Jordan and the amazing Earvin
“Magic” Johnson. Because the game has progressed so contain the
young people who have centered the actual little league in the
last several years. Earning an MVP towards the end of your time
solidifies your recipient as being one of the best in order to
ever engage in the actual activity. That prize seemed to be
referred to as following first chief executive in the
Nationwide Basketball game Organization Mr. Morris Podollof a
good iconic body in the historical past from the sport.
To find out a MVP we've got compromised a listing of the
very best nominees and also why is each a contender. Making use
of any method according to record stats, personality qualities
as well as precisely what each person provides intended to be
able to their own staff in the 2010-2011 period.
Approaching MVP malfunction: D-rose, KB24
BEST 5 Prospects 2010-2011 Frequent Period MVP: L. James
#23 Lebron James SF 6’8 260lb
Adore them or perhaps loathe him, LBJ can be a rare
natural talent and will also be one of the best participants in
the category with regard to decades ahead. 2010-2011 has become
a questionable time of year for Lebron as well as the Heat
crew, a season stuffed with glimpses regarding greatness and
instances regarding overall relapse. But all in all, this
particular team can be a serious contender and it has the many
resources in order to earn the trophy, a big total of credit
score provides to visit James for that team’s achievement.
Lebron’s only drop could be the way this individual deals with
the mass media, that comments he tends to make, as well as
larger then this globe self confidence that creates them
therefore prosperous as well as belittled while doing so. James
offers resided upward to all the buzz regarding effectiveness
since he signed up with the actual league inside 03' as any
child directly out of high the school, he's got constantly
offered large figures year after year and this season was no
diverse.
Figures: 10/10
PPG:26.6
APG:6.9
RPG:7.5
Price to help group: 9/10
- A multi-positional athlete, James runs the point, can easily
protect 3-4 roles and contains great instincts about offense,
especially when they strikes the backboard and rips lower the
rim. The particular addition involving James has enhanced the
overall engage in of the Heat drastically this season. Along
with Dwayne Wade he compensates certainly one of deadliest
mixtures in all regarding basketball game.
Poise: 6.5/10
- Lebron offers obtained negative advertising just about all
year, which has broken their public impression and lead inside
shedding a big amount of help coming from their fan-base. I
want to pin the consequence on the particular press in making
your man seem poor, yet his public remarks, evaporating
functions as well as methods occasionally are a basis for
problem. I’m not necessarily expressing Lebron’s a poor guy, He
or she is a good basketball gamer along with possibly a
pleasant man throughout living, however their the latest press
attention hasn’t been recently glorious regarding him or her or
even his team.

Among the younger six footers of the Los Angeles Lakers
are Sasha Vujacic and Luke Walton. Both are promising
basketball players who, even early in their careers, have the
potential to further improve the sales of Lakers tickets and
help the team win the championship title. Here are some little
known details about Vujacic and Walton.
Sasha Vujacic
Aleksander “Saša" Vujacic plays point guard or shooting
guard for the Los Angeles Lakers and is recognized for his
jersey number 18. Vujacic is Slovenian, born on March 8, 1984
in Maribor, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia. This 6'7" player is a
son of a coach of a basketball team in Montenegro.

Vujacic used to play with the Snaidero Udine, a basketball club
in Italy. He started playing for the club when he was 16 years
old. He also used to be a member of a Slovenian junior team.
Vujacic joined the NBA in 2004 as the 27th overall pick
of the Los Angeles Lakers. His best performances during his NBA
career include a three-point shot that led Lakers to winning
against the Utah Jazz during the 2005-06 season. Another is his
clutch shot that ended the 13-game winning streak of the Dallas
Mavericks.
Vujacic has various nicknames including one given by Coach Phil
Jackson, “the 11 am shooter." The said nickname is given to
Vujacic because he performs well during practices but hardly
does the same in the games. Another nickname of Vujacic is “the
Machine" because of his skill in successfully shooting on and
beyond the arc on most of his attempts.

Luke Walton
Luke Theodore Walton is a small forward for the Los
Angeles Lakers and holds jersey number 4. He was born on March
28, 1980 in San Diego, California to Hall of Famer, Bill
Walton, and his wife Susie. Luke Walton has three brothers,
Adam, Nathan and Chris, all of them are signified in Walton's
right arm four-skeleton tattoo.
Walton was already familiar with basketball mechanics as
a young boy since his father played for the Portland Trail
Blazers. When he went to school in the University of San Diego
High School, Walton learned techniques from Bill himself. After
high school, Walton proceeded to the University of Arizona for
college where he majored in family studies and played for the
Wildcats. Finally, in 2003 after college graduation, Walton was
selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Draft as the 32nd
overall pick. Since then, Walton has been with the team,
improving most during the 2006-07 season.

Because of his performance in the 2006-07
season, Walton was able to get a great deal with the Lakers--a
six-year $30 million contract, based on his potential.
Unfortunately, he was unable to live up to the expectations the
following year. Nevertheless, Walton is known in the NBA and by
NBA experts as one of the best in basketball timing,
positioning, and teamwork. He also has excellent skills in
passing, although he often passes to his teammates more than he
shoots.

title for the 2008-2009 season. Get seat reservations when you

When you have got that bar discussion if Mitch Richmond
or Robert Horry belongs within the Hall-of-Fame, keep in mind
that answer is in all probability no. Many once certain-hearth
Famers aren't guaranteed anymore, not after Dominique Wilkins,
9-time all-star and former slam-dunk champ was skipped from the
Hall last year. Gary Payton is in the same boat as Wilkins, and
may not get into Springfield as quickly as he would possibly
have hoped. However why exactly did Wilkins get skipped?
Let's get one issue straight: the NBA encompasses a
Hall-of-Fame system might just be worse than Baseball's. For
some reason, there's no "NBA Hall-of-Fame"; instead we get the
Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame . The distinction in this
politically correct age that we live in is that nobody provides
a damn regarding any basketball Hall, alternative than the one
that the execs go in to. Now all factions of basketball greats
go into just one Hall-of-Fame, therefore we tend to notice some
other stars, if solely by accident.
It's a tight idea on paper, but you recognize it is a failure
when Dominique Wilkins does not get in. The most bizarre
portion of the Hall inductees is that they elect in everyone,
even players who played within the Europe leagues. In fact,
Wilkins played in the European leagues, however I suppose that
was missed somehow in the voting. Why precisely ought to we
care regarding non-American athletes-I'm pretty certain they do
not care about us. Tell me how a man named Drazen Dalipagic can
get in, and Dominique Wilkins cannot?
Casual fans can say that he might not deserve to urge in as a
result of he never won a ring. In fact, that argument must be
nullified when you sit down and notice that Darko Milicic,
Isaiah Rider and Tyrone Lue all have rings. Are you going to
award a guy who's the 12th man on a championship team
additional than a nice player who stuck with one lousy team? If
you probably did, then welcome to the Hall Will Purdue.
There is however one possible possibility that Wilkins isn't
inducted in Springfield right now: he didn't end with a legacy.
Reggie Miller did not win a title, but he was nice up to his
final playoff appearance. That is why he's a ton safer to
induce in than Dominique or Gary Payton. 'Nique finished his
career very sloppily. In his final 4 seasons, Wilkins played
for 5 groups over a span of 6 years. Dominique missed the
entire 95-96 and 97-98 seasons, taking part in time in Europe
when he wasn't interested in different teams offers. Whereas
his stats were just as nice with the Clippers, Celtics and
Spurs as they were with Atlanta, fans simply couldn't get over
him in a very Magic jersey.
Payton is that the same. His career basically ended when
he left Seattle. Spending his last years with the Greenbacks,
Lakers, Celtics and Heat isn't any legacy. He too didn't win a
hoop, though we have a tendency to'll have to wait and see on
this year. I'd like to determine him get in, but not before
Dominique Wilkins, the human highlight film, gets in.
