(More customer reviews)Terra-Fi 2 (TF2) is the closest to the original made by Teva, however it does not measure up. Original used thick Spider Rubber (similar to rock climbing) that was durable and stuck to anything, the TF2 has a thin layer which soon wears through.

Ankle strap has neoprene to cushion, here's where we separate the engineers from the users. Seems like a good idea, however the cushion maintains water and sweat and keeps grit under it which grinds against the skin. Bad idea. The original was simple nylon which might not have been as comfortable if you were walking around the house in them, but for serious users it dried out quickly and shed dirt.

Strapping system is good, however breaks easily. This is unacceptable if you are using them for serious hikes. Plastic which holds the three rear straps together is cheap.

When dealing w/ customer service for replacement I had to hound them and finally wrote to the head of Teva.This only took 3 letters and as many months for a reply, and what a reply..it's questionable if he graduated from high school.

Very sad that such an outstanding shoe and idea have become just another sandal to wear around the yard.

(More customer reviews)I bought this in preference to the 510 Impact. I tried the Impact and found it too dorky looking, and so padded as to be uncomfortable. This is definitely a better looking shoe - more like a skate-type shoe - and certainly less padded. The soul is pretty "sticky", though I don't think it's as sticky as a pair of 510 approach shoes I was riding with, until they totally fell apart (they were years old). The problem with the new trend of riding flat pedals with these sticky-souled shoes is that, while it works great in summer, in winter I've found the stickiness really drops off, and now my feet are sliding around more on the pedals. I haven't tried other sticky-souled shoes to know if they'd be any better. For what it's worth, the kind of socks you're wearing seem to make a difference. One recent ride I was wearing thin cycling socks and my feet ended up freezing. Temperature was around 27 or 28. Next ride, same temperature, I wore a pair of smart wool socks and my feet ended up super sweaty. I guess what that means is that these shoes aren't that breathable. Overall, this is a good pair of shoes, but not perfect.

(More customer reviews)I bought these sandals last summer in with yellow knotted straps and black foam.The Teva Mush Foam soon conformed to my feet nicely.The foam isn't too thick and is still very shock absorbent, so much more than a regular flip-flop. They also stay on my feet better than a regular flip flop, because the strap somewhat wraps around the foot, unlike a flip flop that you simply insert your foot into. They feel comfortable when walking on concrete or gravel surfaces, and on the beach.They also dry quickly, which is also nice for the beach. I wear these sandals all summer long (Arizona has long summers) to run errands and around the house and yard.The knots straps add a touch of cuteness to the sandals.This was the first Teva product I bought, and I now I'm a big fan.

Maybe a sandal with a strap that goes around the big toe will secure it on the foot a little better.One may consider the Teva Elina that has the toe strap. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5 star rating instead of a 4.Very comfortable sandal that is quick to slip on and wear all day.Highly recommended!

These are pretty thick inside your shoes but they squish down so that doesn't matter much. The only downside I noticed was that the material sticks to my socks. The insole should be a slippery material that doesn't stick to socks when trying to put your foot into the shoes. This problem is reduced with a little baby powder sprinkled into the shoe before putting it on.

He had been wearing a pair of Teva's work boots for years and wore them sooo much that they pretty much fell apart, but they held up for quite some time. The new shoes I purchased for him from Teva are built horrible.The price was good and I trusted the brand. They said they are for hiking and rock climbing, yet all my husband uses them for is work, standing and walking, nothing too strenuous by any means. After just barely a month of him wearing them the bottom tread starting coming apart and is now to where the tread looks like it will fall of any day, I was very disappointed knowing that Teva is usually a good brand. The look and style of the boot is attractive and we liked that about them, but just very dissapointed they didn't hold up for longer than a month! However he did contact the company and they will replace the shoes for free but we have to pay to ship the old ones back.
