(More customer reviews)First, While the instructions lookmisleading / confusing / wrong, they were not. The product is just slightly counter-intuitive in a couple of ways (the two rails are not coplanar, though one would assume they should be). The alignment of the whole setup is a little bit tedious but that's true with most machinery. The only thing that I would like to see improved in a future version is to see the legs use levelers instead of set screws.

That being said, the product, while not perfect, is very very very good. It cuts extremely well and a sliding table is so much better to use than a crosscut sled. The clamping could be improved (I'm thinking of a way to make this better myself) as well.

A note: I installed mine in the advised configuration (mounting to middle and rear bolt holes for the extension wing) but immediately deduced I would get more out of the setup by using the front and middle bolt holes. Keeping the fence in the normal configuration, I now can crosscut a 30" panel. My "with the fence at the back of the sled" cut capacity was reduced as a side effect but I have never found a need to even mount the fence to the back. I highly recommend going with this setup as well to anyone. There are many occasions where a 27 or a 24 inch crosscut is all you ned to finish the job and this does it.

So, in the real world, I would give this an 8.5-9/10.

E-Z Lift Cabinet Jack Review

(More customer reviews)I received my E-Z Lift Cabinet Jack on the job as I was installing cabients. The parts simply stack together, it took longer to remove it from the boxes than to assemble it. I already had the base cabinets in place so I set it up on the counter. The counter protection rails have a thick felt pad and also lock the wheels so it can't move. The inside corner upper was a little wobbly because half the weight hung off the platform, but once in place the micro adjustment screws on the bottom of the shelf allowed me to adjust the cabinet to level and shim where needed before screwing it to the wall. I moved the jack and set the next upper on it, raised it to the proper poistion, micro adjusted it, and screwed the face frames together and then screwed the new cabinet to the wall. The unit breaks down to four pieces for easy transport in less than a minute. It is a well made and engineered tool. It is especially suited to a cabinet installer working alone.

(More customer reviews)This is the first time I have ever wrote a review but I was so impressed with the quality of this item I felt it neccessary to share a few thoughts with others that might be shopping for a good set of forks.I did a lot of research before purchasing this item and found a lot of the available forks were made of pipe, tubing or light guage metal stock.I have a Kubota B2320 and have no doubt the bucket on my loader will bend before theses forks will.They are well built and will probably last the life of my tractor.I needed a slight modification and ended up contacting the factory which they were more than willing to do.There are less expensive products out there but the saying "you get what you pay for" is very true.This company also manufactures other products which can be utilized by a loader bucket and three point hitches.

(More customer reviews)Needed the ability to transport some pallet materials and also dig and carry some larger rocks in my property.Attached these to a John Deere 2210 tractor with the stock FEL. I had no problem lifting right up to the maximum my FEL will lift.The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that when applying lateral force they will tend to shift a bit / tilt.It didn't keep me from using them and they're a great value and a real nice upgrade to a stock Front end loader for a small utility tractor.

Add the snap-on stabilizer, and the leveling kit, and you have a fully rigged ladder. It does take a bit of mechanical skill to add the leveling kit, but otherwise this is a great ladder.

(More customer reviews)I like the looks of this light a lot. I use it in my office over my computer space. It is stylish in a high-tech way so it fits this setting well.

Pros
-It is amazingly skinny so it doesn't clutter the air space around your desk.
-Very little heat is generated which means you don't have to worry about burning your fingers when you adjust the light.
-The total weight of the lamp is minimal (a few pounds at most) so it easily clamps onto the end of my desk. The clamp itself is very tiny. This frees up more desk space.
-The light output is plenty adequate.

Cons
-The major negative is that the on/off buttons are located near the base which means you must reach all the way across your desk to access them especially if you use the clamp. If you have desk stuff in the way which is one of the reasons to use the clamp in the first place, then it is cumbersome. If the on/off switch were located near the LED's, this would make a much more user-friendly design. You do have the option of using the circular desk stand which would bring the on/off switch slightly closer to you but this takes up desk space.
-Price. Not outrageous but it certainly makes you think twice when you can get a perfectly adequate non-LED lamp for $100 less.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The on/off switch annoyance isn't that big a deal to me because my desk is relatively clean.

(More customer reviews)The Briggs and Stratton gas cans were originally modeled after the NATO/Jerry cans, and the overall welded construction of these is still superior to the Blitz made cans.The NATO style cans worked wonderfully with vented spouts that clamped on.Unfortunately the EPA bureaucrats just can't have that so they set about "correcting" the "shortcomings" of the gas can in America.

All gas cans and spouts made for the US now have to meet California "CARB" specs with antispill automatic shut off spouts, must have threaded attaching points for those nozzles instead of the clamp-on type, and 'child-proof' caps.The new spouts have pretty much all been problematic and difficult to use, even the ones made for these good quality cans, especially if you have an unusually positioned filler (like cars with the gas cap behind the license plate, or on top of the fender instead of on the side) since you have to override the 'automatic shut off' while manhandling a potentially heavy can.

Do yourself a favor and try to find the NATO style cans if you can, and if your state has not already banned them by adopting CARB requirements.The NATO cans and spouts work much, much better and are perfectly safe when used with common sense.They may still be available at outdoor/garden/power equipment stores in your area.

Rockler 9" Quick Release Workbench Vise Review

(More customer reviews)it is HEAVY, so be careful when fitting to the bottom of your bench. You would not want this landing on your foot.

Also, why can't Rockler include a few bolts??? If you don't have a stock of bolts at home, be prepared for a trip to the store. You'll need a set for fixing to the bench and another set for fixing the blocks to the vice jaws. It's amazing and annoying that these don't come with the vice.

On the positive side - the quick release mechanism is GREAT. Love it.

If you order this just be prepared to screw it down to were you are going to locate it.The clamp it comes with does not hold it down good enough. But it has four holes in the base part of the clamp housing. After trying to secure it to my computer desk with just the clamp I could see it needed help to hold it on so I put four screws in the base and it is solid now. It says you can use a screw in type fluorescent bulb but I tried that and the base of the fluorescent bulb is to wide for it to screw in far enough for it to make contact with the bottom of the socket and would not light up.Thank You Jack's Tool Shed for fast and efficient service.

(More customer reviews)I was in the market looking for a sturdy Miter Saw Work Bench for several months.I had looked at the Dewalt Bench several times, the extension rail adjustment felt loose.All of my power tools are Dewalt or Milwaukee, therefore the bench would definitely be one of the two.I guess it was mere luck that I found the bench on Amazon.I immediately ordered it, not to take a chance of them being out of stock.The bench is a little heavy but it is solid and sturdy.I plan to fashion a 90 degree eight inch angle metal end stop, to use when I am cutting several pieces of wood stock the same length.It would have been great if an end stop were included in the package.Like Milwaukee other products it is a great tool to have.

PEX 14" Combo Crimp Tool Review

(More customer reviews)Just began using this item for 1/2" PEX. I had to calibrate it out of the box, but that was simple. I had just one ring during my install that didn't 'feel' right when I crimped it and sure enough that was the only leaker I had. In other words, it is easy to get a feel for good/bad crimps with this easy to use tool once calibrated. Only complaint w/ the package is you get a "go" gauge, but not a "no-go" gauge like some other packages. It's 14" length can get you into trouble (but nice for the leverage it creates). I couldn't open up the tool wide enough when crimping a ring for a pedestal sink that was near the wall corner. Plan ahead and you can avoid this inconvenience.

(More customer reviews)For the price, this is a pretty good little light.

First, I purchased the similar but slightly cheaper Intermatic LT13 but it has the cheap twist-lock top that I hate and that always ends up coming off and on sitting on the side of my driveway.

The CL191 is stronger and more solid, and hardly more expensive at all.

The drawback of these cheap lights in general is that the small spike they come with is too short and a deer or anything brushing it could knock it over.

So, the trick that I like to think that I invented was to get a piece of rebar...3/8" I think, by about 2 feet long. Then drive it into the ground with a little single jack (mini sledge hammer). Then, ditch the spike that comes with this light and slip the stem of the fixture over the rebar. It fits perfectly and is a much stronger foundation for the light than the flimsy spike it comes with.

The light that this fixture puts out over the LT13 is much more even and pleasant, too.

Overall, if you're looking at this review, you're probably debating between this and the LT13 and I would definitely go for this one!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it IS a somewhat cheap light and not a perfect product because the stake it weak, but with my customization I think it's pretty solid.

(More customer reviews)i thought this would be an extremely handy gadget for building small models, but in fact as soon as i opened the packaging i suspected it would be useless.it is very cheaply and lamely made, and doesn't work at all - well it doesn't suction effectively at all, and the clamping parts are failry useless too.

too bad, as it would have been great and usually xacto is so realiable.

don't waste your money..
