(More customer reviews)I have used this product for 13 years now and love it!The location I bought it from at that time has stopped carrying this product so I now order it on line.I highly recommend this product to anyone that has spots on clothes from everything, grease, inkpen, lipstick, mustard, blood, etc.It has removed so many spots over the years.Be very careful with some dark colors like blues test an area first.But just so you know I use it on blacks all the time and no fading just on some blues be careful.all other colors are excellent results also.Hope this product helps you as much as it has helped me.

(More customer reviews)We love these carpet tiles and they have saved the day for our basement remodel.They do not have a highly sticky back so they can be taken up and easily replaced.This worked great for us when our basement flooded.We took the squares out and dried them in the sun and then put them back.They are treated so there has been no mildew or smell and they still stay in place just as if they did when new.The adhesive is not a "glue down" type it is a special backing that grips the subfloor and keeps the tile in place.After a few vacumings the lines between the tiles virtually disappear.The carpet is excellent for a basement, recreation room, office, but is not the same appearance of a high grade installed carpet.

I called Polyseamseal, and their tech guy said this product WILL NOT WORK around tubs or showers, even though their
Datasheet says, and I quote: "recommended for sealing around bathtubs" . . . "shower stalls" . . .etc.

They sent me 2 tubes of their "ever bright" silicone product to replace this blankety blank stuff for free, with an apology, but "nuthin" else

(More customer reviews)I use Lexel for glass on glass mosaics and for gluing together anything that I used to use clear silicone for.If you can be patient and wait for the item to cure for a full two weeks, you will not be dissapointed.It is so clear, it's unbelievable.I don't have problems with the glue clogging up the end of the tube because I wrap the entire tube in plastic wrap between uses.This keeps the air out.The tube should be used within a year of purchase for best quality.

(More customer reviews)I just installed about 500 sq ft of hardwood floor and used floor muffler.While it is a bit of a chore to get it to lay flat (use some flooring pieces at each end as weights) it does go down fairly easily.Get a friend to help you lay it down - keeping everything straight can be a challenge by yourself.

Pros
- Quiet, the floor makes no noise
- The film strip and built in adhesive are a big help - no taping necessary on longitudinal seams - you will need to tape it together on butt seams
- GREAT customer service.I e-mailed them at 8pm one evening thinking I would get my questions answered sometime in the next few weeks.At 8:15pm that same evening I had my answers.

Cons
- AWFUL instructions

Here are the instructions I used with help from the company:
The film side is the side with the wide pink stripe and the narrow blue stripe.
The pink stripe unfolds to double its width - this lets you lay down a strip next to it without a gap.The blue stripe is the adhesive strip - remove the blue to expose the adhesive - then stick it down to the pink that you unfolded on the other piece.
The instructions also say to lay down only what you are immediately covering with flooring.This is next to impossible to do if you lay it down perpendicular to the flooring (as you should).Lay it all down at once.It is tough as nails and provided you are not wearing cleats, you will not tear it.If you are worried, you can lay down some hardboard to walk on - that will protect the underlayment.

Suggestion - buy enough so you do not have to join pieces for length.It is much easier to keep things straight when all of the seams run one way.

Henkel 828471 PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive, 10.2-Ounce Review

(More customer reviews)Wear gloves before using this, or its going to be hard to get off your hands. PL Construction adhesive is great stuff, the king of glues. It will create bonds that are probably stronger than the material you are gluing. It will stick to almost anything except some plastics (Styrofoam and ABS are the some examples, but few glues can bond these materials because of their properties.). It is weather and temperature proof. Wood, metal, masonry and rubber are just some of the materials you can marry. It is very good at bonding dissimilar materials.

The stuff kind of expands slightly into a brownish/amber colored shelled hard substance. I assume this reaction helps work the product deep in the molecular structure of what is being bonded. The product allows 30 minutes of time to adjust your work pieces, and starts curing rapidly afterward. It seems to cure on contact with air and probably moisture.

I've used this to repair my figure skates, which have held up for years. I've also glued a car window to the internal bracket, so it can obviously withstand temperature extremes and force. I would suggest scuffing glass before using this product.Cleans up with alcohol, but I wouldn't want to get it on clothes.

I'm taking a star off because of storage. Store this stuff by creating a large bubble of the product above the tube. If you don't do this you will ruin the tube. They should sell the product in smaller tubes, but even that would be difficult to store. Its inexpensive too, even if used once or twice its a good deal.
