Omega Women's 1572.30.00 Constellation Quartz Small
Watch
Product Description:
Blending classic timepiece design with refined European style, this
Omega Constellation women's watch offers graceful lines and a
medium-sized width. Part of the Cindy Crawford My Choice
collection, this fully silver watch offers an appealing balance of
luxury, durability, and precision (with its Swiss quartz watch
movement). Its highly polished stainless steel case is topped by a
brushed bezel that features engraved Roman numerals in black and
curved claw accents at 3 and 9 o'clock. The silver stainless steel
bracelet band flows seamlessly from the case and is slightly
tapered. It's composed of alternating wide links and contrasting
thin bands, and is joined by a secure push-button safety clasp.
The white dial background also includes silver-tone Dauphine hands,
thin baton hour markers, and small minute indexes. Other features
include a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire
crystal, a distinctive Cabochon crown, and water resistance to 30
meters (99 feet) The watch case measures 25.5mm (1 inch) across and
8mm (0.31 inches) deep.
The Omega Story
The Omega watch story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt
began hand assembling key-wound precision pocket watches from parts
supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds,
in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name
didn't appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed away and
his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul
and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with
glamorous screen and sports stars--the Omega Seamaster is famous
for being the watch of choice for James Bond--with current
ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player
Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe.
But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega
Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all
manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all
of the U.S. space agency's severe tests, including passing grades
for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18
to +93 degrees Celsius. The greatest moment in the Speedmaster's
history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded
man's first steps on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11
mission. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new
movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega movement is tested on
the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests
are conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance
and vibration-resistance.

(More customer reviews)I've been seeing
ads for the Movado museum watch since the 80s and thought it always
looked beautiful although I'd never seen it in person. I finally
bought this one online. It turned out to be quite a disappointment.
It's a nice looking watch but it's cheaply made. It feels flimsy
when you hold it in your hand, the leather strap is too short and I
have to keep mine on the largest opening, and the buckle broke
immediately the very first time I put the watch on. I would not buy
again...
BTW, I now see that this watch is listed for $450 on Amazon?!?!?! I
paid somehwere between $150 and $180 from Amazon in early 2007. At
that price it was an OK watch. At $450, this watch is a total rip
off -- defiantely not worth that!!!

(More customer reviews)It's a fantastic
watch with a classic look and feel. Not as big as most of the
seamaster line, it looks great against a good suit or tux. Even
though it is smaller it has a more refined feel than a Tag, Edox,
or Breitling.

accurate timepiece is as comfortable negotiating deals in the
boardroom as it is navigating the breaking seas. Definitively
masculine in design, it features a mid-sized, round silver
stainless steel watch case with a rhodium-plated finish that blends
brushed and polished surfaces and measures 38mm (1.50 inches)
wide.
It features a slightly raised, highly polished bezel that frames a

that have undergone precision tests and received a certificate from
the official COSC (Control Officile Suisse de Chronometers)
regulatory organization that rigorously tests and certifies (or

Automatic Watch Movement
An automatic watch is self-winding, and its movement has a reserve
that must be at least partially filled prior to being worn. This is
done by shaking and winding the timepiece manually. In order for an
automatic timepiece to keep a reserve, it must be worn daily for 8
hours of active wear. This watch as a 44-hour power reserve.

(More customer reviews)This watch looks
great.. it isn't as big as a lot of the popular watches out there
now, the face pretty slim, which is good for me because I have
smaller wrists.People are surprised that it doesn't cost more, it
gets a lot of compliments. The band is leather, so it isn't as
durable as some other bands would be.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this
watch as a reward to myself. I was impressed by a few things, the
value, the quality of workmanship and the overall stunning
appearance.
First off, you have to love the price, I looked at a few higher end
watches in an Authorized Dealer store, and not a single watch
(including this Omega was under ($2500). I purchased this Omega,
the 2253.80 for just under $1600 with express shipping. You can buy
the Quartz version (Omega 2265.80 I believe) for only $1300, I
think it is better to buy this higher quality self winding version.
It is small difference in price, and I think in the long run is a
wise decision. Should the day come when you want or need to sell
it, self winding/automatic watches have a much higher resale value
than Quartz. I see this watch as more of a wearable investment
rather than a watch, sort of like fine art. You can buy a decent
cheapo watch for $100 or 200 but you just won't get a lifetime or
more of use.
The workmanship on this watch is great, everything is topnotch. The
crown is designed well, the band is nice, not cheap looking, and
the hands are easy to read, unlike some of the more modern designs.
The locking clasp is perfect, as with all Omegas. Omega presents it
to you beautifully, the case is red leather, and the ID/chronometer
cards are held in a white leather portfolio-style case
The watch itself is stunning. It is sophisticated, somewhat
conservative but with a modern flair. It compliments a dress suit,
business casual, or even just a t-shirt. The bezel/face is the
perfect size for any size wrist. 35mm is slightly on the smaller
side for a men's watch, but I have large wrists (8") and it is just
the right size. Some of the larger watches, are just too large and
bulky to wear, this Omega is perfect. It is sturdy, but not heavy,
and is perfect for almost any occasion.
Finally, my gripes. These are barely worth mentioning, but a review
would not be complete without mentioning the negatives of a
products. First, Amazon did a sub-par job packaging it for
shipment. It did have bubble wrap, but the box was too short for
Omega's box so there was a significant bulge. Once you open the
box, you will most likely notice there is some black smudging on
the thing holding the watch in Omega's beautiful leather/velvet-y
case. This is yet again, Amazon's fault. They put a bar code
sticker to identify the watch, and the ink rubs off.
My conclusion, if you are in the market for a watch that will get
you attention and snob appeal look elsewhere (diamond/gold Rolex).
This watch, while unique, and stunning isn't going to get average
people to look at you. Only people that know about the quality of
watches, or are somewhat keen on good things will know to identify
it. You can walk into a bar with gold Rolex and heads will turn.
Whether or not you want that attention is probably determined by
some sort of self loathing or the need for attention.
If you are looking for a high-quality time piece that has value and
style this is the perfect gift for the one you love, or yourself. I
personally own a Rolex Stainless Submariner, Tug Heuer, and a
Citizen Eco-Drive and this Omega is my favorite watch.

(More customer reviews)The last sport
watch you'll ever need to buy.
This review refers to the Model 2218.50, XL version (45 mm case)
with steel bracelet. The opinions of the movement, adjustment and
reliability are also applicable to the model with rubber strap and
leather / lizard strap.
This is a hefty timepiece, it weighs 9+ ounces (over half a pound),
it feels and exudes quality and is bound to illicit a glance and a
double take. The domed double anti glare sapphire crystal is super
sharp and sometimes hard to determine it is even there.
The exterior is a combination of brushed and polished stainless
steel, most notably the trademark Omega horns are this blended
finish.
The screw down crown is adorned with the Omega logo and easy to
open, the first position enables manual winding for a power boost,
the helium escape valve at 10:00 is adorned with the periodic
symbol "He".
Clockwise turns of the crown in second position adjusts the date
forward, the date can't be adjusted backwards. Time adjustment is
easy and rapid; no adjustment for seconds is available.
The unidirectional bezel rotates counter clockwise 120 clicks and
lines up perfectly with every second marker, the solid feel of the
rotation is nothing less than you'd expect from an Omega.
The luminescent material of this watch is a glow magnet, just a few
seconds exposure to sunlight or held close to a lamp will turn the
face of this watch into a lighthouse! Combined with the chrome and
split bezel hands of the subdials and this timepiece can be used as
a signal mirror for low flying aircraft.
The Omega 3313 movement is identical to their 3303 movement except
the 3313 has the co-axial escapement, this is the same movement
inside the Omega DeVille and will be used in future models.
The accuracy of this watch is only surpassed by my Omega SeaMaster
Quartz 300 2221.80, my Quartz Omega never loses or gains a second
and the PO gains less than 5 seconds a week. The days I don't wear
it, I spend 60 seconds winding it and store it standing vertically
for optimum movement.
The bracelet includes the scuba extension of all SeaMasters, but
has no convenience pins for rapid adjustment or for bodily weight
fluctuation. It releases easily with the double release pins and
feels confidently closed when clasped.
I've performed testing of the power reserve, it continues to
function about 43 hours with a full wind.
The watch can also function with a running chronograph for over 40
hours on a full wind, that is impressive.
Overall, I'd recommend this watch for anyone who wants an exquisite
sport timepiece which isn't out of place at a formal, like all of
the Omegas made before it; I expect this watch to endure for my
grandchildren and their grandchildren.

(More customer reviews)A watch for the
collector who prizes the ideosyncratic.
Omega has created a quirky day/date automatic (a big deal in the
watch world) that isn't the price of an automobile. All automatics
are a little less exact than quartz as far as timekeeping goes, but
my speedmaster only gains about two minutes per month, and since I
like using it, I don't mind re-setting it from time to time.
The actual user manual is on-line, very specific and clear about
the controls.
But if you have no fascination with the art of watchmaking and the
"complications" of authentic, quality Swiss watchwork, go with a
quartz; it's less "work"...

Omega Men's 3222.80.00 Speedmaster Day-Date
Automatic Chronometer Chronograph Watch
Product Description:
Add a true classic to your timepiece collection with the amazingly
precise and rugged Omega Speedmaster day-and-date men's watch
(model 3222.80.00), the latest generation that first started with
the timepiece designed for NASA in the 1960s. It features the Omega
3606 caliber automatic movement, which has been certified as a
chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control). Only
3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are
"chronometer-certified." To achieve this highly coveted
certification, the movements are subjected to numerous tests over a
period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at
three different temperatures.
The watch also includes a central chronograph hand with 30-minute
and 12-hour subdial totalizers, 24-hour subdial, and day and month
windows. The large, round watch measures 39mm wide (1.54 inches)
and 15mm thick (0.59 inches), and it's topped by a blue-plated
bezel with tachymeter readings. The blue dial background has a
circular Geneva wave pattern, luminous silver-tone hands, luminous
tipped stick hour markers, and small second indexes. It's completed
by a silver stainless steel link bracelet band that offers polished
highlights, which is joined by a secure, push-button clasp. Other
features include a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed
sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters (330
feet)--offering protection from accidental splashes as well
suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational
diving.

How to Use a Tachymeter
A tachymeter is an instrument for measuring speed. It is a
chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read off in
kilometers per hour based on 1000 meters distance. For example, the
chronograph indicates that the distance of one kilometer has been
covered in 30 seconds. The corresponding point on the tachymeter
scale indicates 120, and thus the speed is 120km per hour.

cheap watch for vacation use that would be able to take swimming
and hiking use and could be washed off if it got messed up. Found
this watch for 45 bucks - plus it has a fairly accurate compass
which I always carry when hiking. Has a fabric strap its good to
100 meters and is plastic body. The perfect combination plus it
does have a nite readable face. Also has fairly big numbers which I
can read w/o glasses. Perfect. And it's a Timex, what more could

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch
from Amazon and am very satisfied with it. Came in spankin new with
everything included except for the international warranty card
which Amazon keeps. Checked the serial with Omega HQ in Switzerland
and was verified of an authentic watch. For the price, it does make
it worthwhile to own. This watch always sells out at Amazon so if
its available buy it soon or else you will have to wait for over a
month or two for it to be in stock again. I was about to buy it
from an authorized dealer but the 2yr warranty &substantial
price difference convinced me to buy it from Amazon.
Get it and you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it.

Omega Men's 2594.52.00 Seamaster 300M Automatic
Chronometer Chronograph Watch
Product Description:
Set sail with confidence and style to points unknown with this
classic Omega Seamaster stainless steel men's automatic chronometer
watch, a highly accurate timepiece that also includes a powerful
chronograph, which offers 12-hour, 30 minute and 1/10 second
subdials. It's also a great diving watch, with water resistance to
300 meters (984 feet). Definitively masculine in design, it
features a large, round silver brushed stainless steel watch case
that measures 41mm (1.61 inches) wide.
It's topped by a durable aluminum unidirectional bezel in black,
which is engraved with a silver graduated scale usable for the
calculation of diving time. It frames a black dial background with
luminous silver Dauphine hands and thick baton dial markers. Other
features include a 42-hour power reserve, screw-in caseback,
screw-locked crown, and scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed
sapphire crystal. It's completed by a silver stainless steel link
bracelet band that offers polished highlights, which is joined by a
secure deployment buckle. This adjustable band measures 7 inches in
length.
Originally created in the 1750s, the first chronometers were clocks
that were accurateenough to calculate the longitude of a ship's
position. Today, the chronometer label is bestowed upon timepieces
that have undergone precision tests and received a certificate from
the official COSC (Control Officile Suisse de Chronometers)
regulatory organization that rigorously tests and certifies (or
fails) watch movements for chronometer status.

(More customer reviews)I purchased my
Omega Speedmaster Professional almost 38 years ago and still wear
it today.I spent $375 to have it overhauled a few months ago as I
could not bear to part with it.In 1969 I was in a bunker on top of
a hill northeast of Khe Sanh(the siege was long over)and saw an ad
in TIME for the watch that went to the moon. While on R&R in
Hong Kong a month later I purchased it and have never regretted
it.I timed 'flash to burst' artillery observations, timed officer
candidates' performance on conditioning runs, timed photo processes
in a darkroom, timed my wife's contractions during childbirth,
timed radio and tv advertising scripts and use it to keep time
while I am cooking.Always a faithful reminder of all that I have
been through and ready to go for decades more, I plan to leave it
to my first-born grandson when I pass away.

Omega Men's 3573.50.00 Speedmaster Professional
Mechanical Chronograph Watch
Product Description:
Large and in charge, this Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow stainless
steel automatic men's' watch boldly announces its presence, as
comfortable negotiating deals in the boardroom as it is racing
desert rallies or navigating the breaking seas. This highly
accurate timepiece is a replica of the famous manual-winding
chronograph timepiece that was used during the first landing on the
moon in 1969. It includes a chronograph with small seconds,
30-minute, and 12-hour subdials. Definitively masculine in design,
it features a large, round silver stainless steel watch case with a
rhodium-plated finish that blends brushed and polished surfaces and
measures 41mm (1.61 inches) wide and 11.5mm (0.45 inches) deep.
The highly polished silver bezel includes tachymeter markings in
black, and it frames a deep black dial background with large,
luminous hands (with seconds hand) and baton dial markers in silver
tone. Other features include a clear sapphire back,
scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal, and
water resistance to meters feet (330 feet). It's completed by a
silver stainless steel link bracelet band that offers polished
highlights, which is joined by a secure, push-button clasp.
This watch as a 48-hour power reserve.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this
watch 1 year ago. I purchased it for 1 reason only,, I needed a
very rough (within 3-10 degrees) north reading. I needed this for
work (IM a forester) and yes I know the limitations of this tool..
It never worked correctly. well maybe for the first 2 weeks. Be
prepared to calibrate this several times a day.
After the first 2 weeks it was consistently off by 30-90 and as
much as 180 degrees. So much so that I could never trust it.
I thought it was broke, So i sent it in for repair, 8-12 weeks
later it is returned.. Actually its a different watch and
@1!model.
This one is even more broken. Its stuck on East Permanently.
Word of advice. Buy this watch if you want a time piece and want to
appear to have a compass on your wrist.
If you want a compass to Use for even the most rudimentary
direction finding. Buy a $10 key chain compass.
And defiantly don't expect Timex to send you a repaired watch.
For me this was a $200 learning experience, Its going on Ebay for
$5 to start... maybe some fool wants a Compass looking
Timepiece

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch
because of the larger LCD display panel- hoping it would be easier
to read the date than the models with a smaller LCD panel. Alas-
while the display panel is bigger than most, it is used to display
two lines of data. For example: Hours and minutes on the top line
and seconds on the second line. The top line characters are about
3mm high, while the second line has about 2mm characters- making
reading no easier than most other display types. The display is
certainly not as sharp and clear as shown in the picture. The face
is silver color and the hands are chrome making the reading a bit
difficult in some light conditions. The hands are not luminous but
rather cut away where other watches usually have a luminous band.
The full face lights up with a greenish light that stays on just
two seconds. The hands show well with this light, but the LCD
display is not as well illuminated. There is no sweep second hand,
but you can display seconds as one option on the LCD panel. The
minute hand steps ahead by 1/3 minute every 20 seconds. The outer
perimeter of the dial is ringed with a silver plastic ring that
contains minute markings and grey triangles at each five minute
point. This rather cheap looking ring does not rotate.
The watch is 13mm thick (about 1/2 inch) and 43mm(1 11/16")wide.
The band appears to be well made and sturdy but I havent worn it to
assess long term durability.
In use, the watch sync'd easily from Connecticut. You can set your
home city time zone to control the analog hands and a second time
zone on the LCD panel. Changing the home city designation causesthe
hands to power themselves around to the proper time- Impressive!
The watch is battery powered with a claimed two year battery life.
It has five alarms including a snooze and a count down alarm and a
icon to show signal strength. The watch uses Module 2735 and you
can download the instruction sheet at Casio.com under that number.
All in all it's a lot of technology for the money, but I think
there are better looking Casio watches available.

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch
because I needed a new one and because I was curious about how
pressure varies during airplane flights. So far I like all the
features of this watch. It tells time quite accurately, is very easy
to read in various conditions, and many of its features are
intuitive. So far it also seems to be fairly rugged, which was a
concern, though for under $100, I am not too concerned, as long as
it lasts a few years.
Note that if you are serious about using the altimeter, you must
know an accurate starting altitude (to with 10 feet) or the
barometric pressue when you start your hike.Otherwise, the watch
has no chance of giving accurate altitude readings. In climates that
have very frequent pressure changes, you'll need a topographical
map or wireless access to the Internet to recalibrate during your
hike.
