AMG versions of the Mercedes Benz SL 600.
Played only a small role in the AMG versions. From 1993, the
Mercedes-AMG Mercedes Benz SL 600 offered at 60 to six liters of
M119-eight. He stood until 1998, officially in the Mercedes-price

Motor and Engine of the Mercedes Benz SL 600
The R129 was consistently six-, eight-and twelve-cylinder engine
offered. At the beginning there were 300 SL 300 SL-24 and the 500
SL in the price lists.
From 1992 it was then the first twelve-cylinder engine in the
Mercedes Benz SL 600, the SL 600 is available. Gradually, the
Mercedes Benz SL 600 was the more modern V6 and V8 engines from the
S-Class. They had dual ignition and three valves per cylinder.

Innovations of the Mercedes Benz SL 600
At the Mercedes Benz SL 600 was used for the first time, an
automatic roll bar, which is lowered quickly in the event of a
rollover, within 0.3 seconds.
Another safety feature is the A-pillars, which are largely kink in
the event of a rollover. New was the integral seats, where the belt
and the headrest is integrated into the seat. They offer much
better side than the previously used seats. As of September 1989

Technology of the Mercedes Benz SL 600
TheMercedes Benz SL 600 uses in separate and shorter, but not for
reasons of stability of lighter body substantially parallel to each
of the drives built Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the first S-Class
(W140), then its successor S-Class (W220). Since the construction
of the Mercedes Benz SL 600 (typically including the R129) is
considerably longer ranges than the corresponding sedans, when it
came to R129 a model transition with partial change of drive.
Here, the transition from the traditional four-valve six-cylinder
in the new three-valve V6 engine was that much cheaper to produce
significantly in the frontal impact and are safer. Even in the
eight-cylinders was changed from four-to three-valve technology of
the Mercedes Benz SL 600.

The Mercedes Mercedes Benz SL 600 is a roadster, a two-seater
sports car. He belongs to the SL-Class from Mercedes-Benz.
The Mercedes R129 was produced as a successor to the R107 of 1989
to 2001. In 2001 he was replaced by R230. During the long
construction period, the last model, the Mercedes nomenclature, so
