At the time the rescue boat arrived, the woman appeared conscious in the water of the port side of the vessel. The Wenatchee had been on course from Seattle to Bainbridge Island at about the halfway point when a "Man Overboard" was sounded followed by "This is not a drill". The crew responded expediently, reversed the ferry and located the woman. I would estimate the time between the announcement and rescue at 15-20 minutes total.
