(More customer reviews)I had set out to buy a tortoise frame version, and a black frame version of this STYLE of glasses, since 'back in the day' I had a nice pair of Clubber-style sunglasses which didn't last past 2004. I set out to find replacements, as I've said, in tortoise and black, even wishing that if the frame was solid, I might convince my optician to pop in my subscription lenses.
I ordered these tortoise frames (clear lenses) from this seller, and the black frame (dark lenses) from another seller.
These arrived in a nice drawstring bag, well protected in packaging. Yet right away I could see that they were too large, in regards to ACTUAL RayBan Clubbers, or even 1980s castoffs. I would estimate that they are 15% larger, and the metal lower rim of the frames just about touch my cheeks.
When the Black glasses arrived (from a different seller), they were even larger, like 20% larger, making me wonder if BOTH models are really meant for costume purposes only.
I've studied these tortoise frames and considered whether there'd be hope in re-sizing, downwards, the frames to make them 'wearable', because I really approve of the actual tortoise-esque parts of these frames. I'm not sure if the gold-tinted metal of these frames would hold up to any alteration or again, if they are worth it.
Trying to be fair to the manufacturer, I once again compared them to a just-bought pair of sunglasses in a very similar style and shape, and they simply are larger, width and height wise. I have an average size face and head, so perhaps people with longer and/or wider faces might not sense that the proportions are amiss.
Were these worth the ten smackers I paid for them? They claim to have uv400 protection, but I doubt I'll wear them outside, so... Overall, I'd have to say that I'm 3 out of 5 stars happy. Your mileage may vary.

When I received it the only worry I had was that it might have been counterfeit Ray ban lenses since it said made in china on the frames. But I looked into it and Ray Ban sells glasses that say either made in china or made in italy depending on where the lenses were made. so that put my concerns about the glasses to rest.

Metal frames are thin, elastic headband is cheap, lenses look cheap, and foam stuff around the edges is cheap.For my costume purpose it's ok, but these glasses are a $12 item at most and that's being generous.

If I had it to do over, I'd hit up Wal*Mart or a Dollar Store first..

Fit is nice. Venting holes are great and I have yet to have these fog up on me.Seem these would also be good as a standard pair of safety glasses.Fit didn't seem overly tight that they would become uncomfortable with extend wear. I recommend them for sure.

I purchased these thinking that the magnifying lens was bifocal or simply the entire lens itself. Instead the glasses only have a magnifying window the size of a nickel and are spaced too close together for my eyes to be able to focus. A week later I bought a magnifying "bugs eye" which works much better since my eyes don't have to squint to see through the tiny magnifying windows on these glasses.
