San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, is an interesting city with a
rich history. San Juan is an important economic center in Puerto
Rico and also a popular destination for tourists. San Juan is also
a major seaport located along Puerto Rico's northeastern coastline
and San Juan is a busy passenger cruise port. One of the best known
sections of San Juan is referred to as Old San Juan with its
cobblestone streets, shops and restaurants, the historic forts,
Paseo de la Princesa walkway,different plazas such as the town
square Plaza de Armas, the Plaza de Colón with a statue of
Christopher Columbus, Plaza de San Jose with a statue of Ponce de
León, the San Juan Gate, the Capitol Building of Puerto Rico, and
much more. Another popular tourist section is the Condado area with
beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, hotels, condominiums, restaurants,
nightlife, gaming, shopping, water sports, and more. Some other
popular beach areas are Isla Verde and Ocean Park. There is lots
