How do you hook up speakers to the lg tv model: 32lf11?

I have gone to multiple best buy helpers and no one has given me an answer that doesn't require a +$100 receiver. For some reason the tv only has an audio in and no audio out. Any suggestions?

TV's don't typically have audio outs because they are TVs. Good speakers have speaker wires and there is no place on normal TVs to connect the speaker wire to. So a receiver is the only way to connect a speaker to a TV.
