Paranormal Anomalies Captured by Video Surveillance – #1

Manager’s office at Plastics Factory. Dark room with hidden infrared camera placed to catch suspected illegal computer access. Hundreds of thousands of security cameras are placed in homes, warehouses, stores, offices, hotels, factories, or anywhere the possibility of criminal misconduct exists. Could some of these same cameras record and archive Supernatural Occurances, Ghosts, Poltergiests, or other unexplainable phenomena? I am now convinced that they can and on rare occassions do record paranormal activity. I wasn’t a believer until a close friend of over 25 years recently changed my mind by sharing video clips of unexplainable and sometimes sensational occurances caught on security cameras. He is the owner of a security company which installs and maintains security systems and surveillance cameras. He has reviewed hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of surveillance video for clients, and over the past 30 years has amassed a collection of other worldly occurances caught on camera. Recently sharing this with me, I naturally wanted others to see these phenomenal recordings. I asked that I be allowed to place them on my YouTube channel, and he agreed with the stipulation that he, his company, and clients all remain anonymous. All of this footage was recorded in Ohio. Most of the footage is shot in near or complete darkness with infrared cameras. Quality varies greatly as technology continues to improve. Please note that while some subtle anomalies may be lost in the

Common Home Security Complaints When Using a Security Monitoring Service

By Adriana J Noton

As common home security complaints can be based on contractual obligations, service, design, implementation or response time by authorities or company representatives, one may want to ask a number of questions before ordering or having a security system installed. For, while such products and services can provide a great deal of comfort and security, often individuals also have some common complaints about such security monitoring services. So, before accepting any free security system offer, signing any contract or having a system installed, one needs to read over the contract carefully, including any fine print. For, details like automatic renewals, length of monitoring service, transferability to other services and additional fees are often located within such areas of a contract.

As such, the most common complaints are often related to an automatic renewal of a security contract, receiving a quote for hundreds or thousands of dollars after one has been presented with a free alarm system. However, one of the most common complaints is that of response time to an alarm by local authorities or company representatives. So, before buying or having such a system installed, one need verify that the company has a good record in such regard.

So, before accepting any free security alarm offers or having such a system installed, one may want to ask a number of questions regarding such complaints. For, then and only then, can individuals know the truth about a security company, the products being offered and the ongoing service which such a company provides. In addition, one may want to read a variety of reviews related to different security companies operating in the area in which one resides. For, only when one knows that such monitoring is going to be successful in providing security to both residents and property can one feel safe while using such a service.

Although, if one is using a reputable alarm company, often such issues can be taken care of on an immediate basis. Still, it is not much good to have an alarm system, if one is not contacted when such an alarm goes off. In addition, if one is planning on moving to a new area in which a different monitoring service is required, one may want to wait until such a move is complete before having a security system installed as often such security systems are non-transferable.

However, if one is planning on staying in the home for some time, often such systems can both increase property value and lower homeowners insurance premiums. As such, whether for a discount on insurance or simply to assure one is safe both while at home and away, such a system can be an excellent investment. Of course, the most important aspect of any security system is the safety of residents inside the home along with any valuable property one wishes to protect.

In addition, when signing up for such a service, one may want to read through all contractual information a few times so as to not have any surprise subscription renewals or service calls in the future. For, often such companies automatically build in an automatic renewal when it comes to such security services. So, while such automatic renewals may work for some with large amounts open on a credit or debit card, others often use prepaid cards or cards which have reached a spending limit.

As such, individuals can often be surprised to find a large charge on their credit card bill or discover their system monitoring has been canceled due to a rejection of payment by the bank who issued the card. After which, if the home is broken into, although an alarm may sound, no one at the monitoring station may know an alarm is sounding. However, if one contacts the alarm company as soon as one is notified of either a rejected charge, or what one believes to be an unauthorized charge, often one can work out such issues accordingly.

To this end, while there are a few common home security complaints about various home security systems and the time it can take officials to respond, such systems can still be a great investment. For, not only when working properly do alarm systems and monitoring services provide protection to individuals and property, one can also increase property value while lowering insurance rates. So, while safety and security are important aspects of owning a home security system, so too are other benefits which one can often gain when installing a home security system.

What Internet Security Does Your Business Need?

By Derek Rogers

One of the main reasons why Internet security is necessary in a large company is because that there should be one sort of monitoring system which filters, audits, monitors and makes a record of all the Internet uses which has been done right across the organisation. This is definitely not Big Brother being arbitrary and autocratic just for the heck of it, this is just for the safety of the company.

It does not matter whether you are monitoring or managing your employees, or using an ISP network or a Telco filtering service, the idea is to make sure that your security service provider can provide you with excellent and fail proof security. It also allows there to be a central administrator who can manage the network, as well as control and monitor the security as well as the Internet usage of the computers in your company.

The necessity of making sure that the computers in any network are not threatened by Internet hackers, viruses and malware, is one of the top priorities of every farseeing businessperson. They also need to make sure that the network environment is adequately and securely protected. That can only be done by making sure that every single malicious Internet application and service, which can damage your computer in the form of spyware, viruses and malware are blocked off at the onset itself. Any sort of infiltration of these malicious applications is best checked at the very outset by a good security protection system within the computer.

There are still many online users who are unaware that downloading files can cause you to face a lot of hassles in the matter of inappropriate, copyrighted as well as illegal web content which might appear upon your network. Apart from this, phishing mail as well as spyware is quite capable of broadcasting your confidential and supposedly secure information all over the Internet. For example, one junk mail, clicked accidentally can get hold of your address book and send all your clients a phishing letter pertaining to be from your e-mail address. So your business needs to make sure that the Internet security is such that such activities do not occur within and from your computer.

Downloading from peer to peer sites out there are one of the main reasons why a virus infects one computer and from there it can go to every single computer in the network. Some of these viruses are capable of sending all your information to other computers, while others are even worse and can cause a complete systems breakdown and shutdown of every single computer on your network. This means that you have to look for a good Internet security system and solution, which can prevent this from ever happening.

Of course it is always very sensible to backup all your important files and information on a remote access server and site, just in case. Good security systems are going to preserve all your network resources, while taking care of any sort of infection from affecting your network or computer system with tailor-made hosted filtering services at really affordable prices.

Extreme Home Security With Outdoor Wireless Security Cameras, Etc.

By Nahshon Roberts

These days your home and family can never be too safe from intruders and from accidents waiting to happen. The surest way to protect yourself and your family is to outfit your home with smoke detection alarms and indoor and outdoor wireless security cameras.

Home Security Shouldn’t Wait

When it comes to home security, homeowners go for bugler alarms, smoke detection devices and indoor and outdoor wireless security cameras. This potent cache of home and family protection gadgets can put to rest your apprehensions over intruders and accidents. With several options available to suit your budget why should you delay securing the safety of your loved ones and your home?

Delaying to secure the safety of your home and family may end in tragedy, and that would be too late. No amount of amount of money can justify the loss. Since you cannot predict what will happen today and tomorrow, it’s better to be ready and have the peace of mind from knowing your home is equipped with indoor and outdoor wireless security cameras, fire alarms, and that all windows and doors have sturdy locks.

What is extreme about indoor and outdoor wireless security cameras? These cameras work non-stop to record detected motion. An intruder can be caught on an outdoor camera while he still lurking out there. Inside the home, your security cameras can catch him rifling through your drawers and while he is at it, you can alert the police or 911. If your spouse and your kids are at home, you can alert them to get out of the house fast.

Why Outdoor Home Security?

Your indoor surveillance is good enough but having outdoor wireless security cameras trebles your sense of security. Why not? It’s simple. These cameras are built to withstand all weather conditions and can capture images even in poor illumination. Before thieves can get in, you are alerted by these cameras! This is a hundred times better than dealing with an intruder indoors, right?

Any would-be intruder has to find a way to get in a house. They’ll case the front yard, check out the obstacles in the backyard and note those low windows where they can easily clamber over to reach the living room. But if you have outdoor wireless security cameras blatantly displayed or hidden, you got an ace up your sleeve.

Another thing; children love to play in the front yard. Checking on them while you are cooking or doing the dishes will be convenient than rushing outdoors every minute to check on them. These cameras can protect your car from vandals and carnappers and a nosey neighbor won’t dare be caught lurking in the bushes when he thinks you’re not looking.

Don’t Slacken on Home Security

Depending on your security needs, you can opt for pan/tilt camera, infrared cameras, or fixed cameras. Perhaps you want the whole neighborhood to know you have a house guard 24/7 or you want hidden cameras to lure miscreants into complacency and believe you’re a greenhorn when it comes to home security.

Increasing your home security has no minuses, only pluses. It won’t cost an arm and a leg to secure your home but it will cost you a fortune to replace what you have lost to thieves or fire. Better go the extreme when it comes to home security than be sorry later for lack of outdoor wireless security cameras.

In Business There is no Such Thing as Job Security!

By Lou Martiniano

There are very few people that make it to thirty years and even fewer that want to do that with the same business whether it be a small business or a large business. It seems to be more advantageous to change companies every few years to get that raise or promotion or better job.

Don’t get me wrong, workers used to be secure in the knowledge that their company would still be there and so would their pension. Then came mergers, companies buying each other and some of those Wall Street money grubbers buying companies and then selling off components, causing many people to lose their jobs, while the grubbers and the CEO’s where making millions.

So what is a person suppose to do? It appears more and more that YOU will have to be responsible for yourself! What does that mean? It means that you will have to depend on yourself to make the money you require for your freedom without depending on the “man”.

Now in previous articles I have written about small business failures and the insecurity of going into business for yourself. With a failure rate of 96% over 10 years it is hard to justify going into business for yourself unless you have a line of products that can guarantee you a residual income for a very long time.

Here is an example of residual income? That is income that is yours every week, month or year for a fairly lengthy time. Suppose you are an appliance sales person, you will get a one time commission on the sale price of that item. If you sell none or don’t go to work that day, then you get nothing. For residual, suppose you provide a service contract for that appliance and the buyer signed up for a two year contract, wouldn’t it be great if you received a percentage of the payment every month for the next two years? Well that is residual income!

We all know that is not true. The person that sells that appliance and the service contract only receives a small commission on the sale or no commission at all as they get an hourly wage for selling.

When people have declared bankruptcy, it could have been prevented if they had only $458 per month in additional revenue or income. The bankruptcy could have been prevented with that small income increase. That is less than $5,500 per year. And when you go to a lawyer to declare bankruptcy it will cost you another $800 to $1,200 for their assistance. And then your credit is shot!

Well, for less than the price of a lawyer, YOU can be making a residual income with your own small business. This residual income will provide you with that extra money you need to stay solvent or after a very short period of time the income needed that will allow you to quit your job and not be dependent on anyone but yourself.

The only thing better than that would be to win the lottery? The quicker you get involved the quicker you can start making money. For more info, go to my web site listed in the author’s box below.

By the way, this is a turn-key small business that will provide everything you need to start your business in minutes. You can get your first customers within 24 hours and begin to earn a rewarding income. I will be with you every step of the way helping you make the money you want.

The amount of money you make is dependent on how much work you put into it. I will explain everything to you in detail and I will continue to be with you after you have purchase your own business. You will be in business for yourself but not by yourself with a Billion dollar company backing us both. I look forward to working with you.

Boost Your Home Security With an Outdoor Wireless Security Camera

By Nahshon Roberts

Is your home secure from intruders? Would you be alerted if there were suspicious activities outside the front door? If you can’t answer these questions with a resounding yes, then you need to boost your home security with an indoor and an outdoor wireless security camera.

Extend Video Surveillance Outdoors

Okay, you’ve got yourself covered indoors and you’re smug about this. But you’re forgetting that home security is not just monitoring the nanny and the kids. You have to know if there are any unusual goings-on out there; if you are staying in an apartment, you need to know who is knocking on the door and what he has behind his back – a pizza carton or a gun? An outdoor wireless security camera can give you the right answer.

Through the door’s peep hole, you can see the person’s distorted face but you can’t guess what he is toting. An outdoor wireless security camera positioned across the door and another on the outer door at eye-level can solve the problem for you. Still if he is a stranger, you don’t open the door. You communicate to him through the camera’s two-way audio/speakers and that’s that. You’re safe behind that door.

Here’s an additional bonanza. If you are getting home and content insurance, you’re likely to get bigger discounts if you have put up an outdoor wireless security camera and your home is rigged with indoor surveillance cameras. So on top of your home security, you get a better deal from the insurance company.

So Many Brands, It’s Confusing!

There is a host of wireless security camera brands. Before you get lost in the maze, make a checklist of what you need from your outdoor wireless security camera. Here are some factors to consider before you lug home a brand new outdoor security camera:

– Camera range. Do you need a security camera that has an extensive range or no?

– Is your part of the neighborhood well-illuminated at night with street lamps?

– Is there a power source nearby?

– Is the weather in your area warmer or colder?

– Do you want a date/time/sequence recording?

– Do you want the convenience of a battery strength indicator?

– Do you prefer an easy delete of all recordings?

– Do you want a camera that still works well in total darkness?

– Do you want a solar-powered outdoor security camera?

– Do you want a motion detection feature to save on unnecessary recordings?

These are a lot of questions to ask yourself but these are valuable when you are seeking an expert’s help to guide you in your choice of outdoor wireless security camera. Brand comparison can come later on when you have identified the features you need with your outdoor security camera, and oh, your budget will also have a lot of say on the matter of camera brands.

The Pros of Boosting Home Surveillance

There’s much to gain when you boost home surveillance with an outdoor wireless security camera or cameras. You gain peace of mind over the security of home and family and you can control and manage your home security without calling in the guards. There’s that home and content insurance discount too. Now you know why it pays to boost your home security with exterior surveillance cameras.

The Value of Insurance For Business Security

By Sarah Martin

Insurance is often undervalued, frequently because people have a narrow mind when it comes to the insurance business as a whole. However, insurance helps to give security to business dealings. Here is a look at how insurance can give your business security.

Insurance is a swap:

All types of insurance do one thing – they exchange a small, certain payment for a large, uncertain loss. Basically, this means that you pay a small fee and fixed intervals (your premium), and the insurance company will take the risk should any losses ever occur.

Take, for instance, a flood. Floods are often destroying business property and inventory, but it is impossible to know when one will, if ever occur. If you were able to tell when a flood would occur, you wouldn’t need homeowner insurance (http://cheap-insurance-rates.com/home/denver.cfm). But because you can’t, taking out a flood insurance policy can help you to replace the things that you lose when there is a flood.

Group statistics can be calculated:

While you cannot tell what your chances of a flood, fire, or other disaster will be, your business group as a whole has set statistics. For instance, if you own a bakery, your risk of having a fire destroy your business is higher than the risk of a fire taking down an office building. Knowing that, you could decide that as a bakery owner, your risk of having a fire is higher, and you therefore need more insurance. If you are an office owner, you could decide that your risks are lower and that you need less insurance. Every business and every individual needs certainty, and insurance can help to provide certainty in an uncertain world.

All insurances are similar:

Fire insurance is not terribly different from flood insurance, and flood insurance is not any different than life insurance. To a certain extent, all insurances are the same. If you work with life insurance, then you know that approximately 3.8% of people die before they are 25. This means that another 96.2% don’t, but you have no way of knowing which of the two groups you will be in. All you can do is calculate your personal risk. The higher your risk, the higher your premium will be.

This is true of all types of insurance, including home owner’s insurance. Property owners never know how good their title is. A merchant doesn’t know how much he will lose on a given debtor. However, when you look at a large enough group, you can get an idea of what your individual risk is. Everything you do in business has a certain risk to it. On your own, you cannot determine what the risk is, but as a member of a business group, you know what the statistics are for that group.

What insurance does for your business:

Business has risk. There is the risk of losing property, losing life or health of employees, or losing money, among others. What insurance does is give you some guarantee against these losses. By knowing what your risk factor is, and insuring it appropriately, you will know that you have what you need sure an incident ever occur.

Smart Dummy Security Camera For Home Security Solutions

By Nahshon Roberts

These days, security systems are a must for every home. These systems can be expensive, and not everyone can afford it. But this doesn’t mean there’s nothing you can do about it. Get a dummy security camera and you just might be amazed with the smart results.

Keeping Crime at Bay with a Dummy Security Camera

The daily news justifies your need for a security system if you want to keep your family safe. The horrifying news of rape, robbery, child abuse and murder flood the media, and these are not to be ignored. Or, you just cannot say it won’t happen to you.

Everyday, thousands of people are attacked right in their own homes where they least expect it, and a majority of the victims are those without any security systems installed in their homes. Even a dummy security camera that looks so real it scares off criminals.

What if you don’t have that kind of cash, you ask? Does this mean that you’ll just have to sit and pray that nothing bad happens? Of course not! You’ll find your answer in a dummy security camera. It might not sound impressive, but it is a step to take to keep your family safe without going to the cleaners.

Why a Dummy?

Studies on this subject matter have confirmed that unlawful activities are prevented when would-be criminals sense that their activities are recorded by a surveillance camera. So if you can’t afford the real deal, a dummy is the next best thing to scare off the thugs. In the home or in your office, you can install these cameras on your doorstep, backyard, or on the rooftop where they can look menacing.

These dummy spy cameras look so authentic. Their stern presence make people think twice before misbehaving, so place these cameras in the key areas of your house such as your doorstep, backyard, roof, or in each room.

Make sure that once mounted, the cameras are visible from a distance. Don’t set the fake cameras in places that are too obvious or awkward. Install them as you would the real surveillance cameras – out of the reach of children. Carelessly installed fake dome cameras will give you away. You don’t want to give intruders a hint, right?

Get an Authentic-looking Dummy Surveillance Cam

There are different types of fake security cameras in the market, and if you want to outwit intruders, learn to choose one that doesn’t scream dumb! While most fake cameras are designed to look like real surveillance cameras, some cams look like cheap toys. Do not fall for these. Instead, get a dummy security camera that looks intimidating.

There are dummy cameras using real surveillance camera housing materials. These have cables and wires and with focal lengths on the lenses that can stop anybody dead on his or her tracks. Some dummy security cameras are even designed to move like the real thing with flashing red lights every few seconds, panning side to side, or following the movement of objects directly in front of it.

With a dummy security camera like this one, nobody but yourself will know that it’s fake, and you can be sure to scare off camera-shy criminals. Nobody would dare test spy cams for authenticity. They would steer clear from surveillance gadgets, fake or not, rather than waste precious minutes tinkering the cameras just to find out if these are for real.

About the Author: If you can’t get the real deal yet, trust a dummy security camera that looks so authentic, people will think you have a hot digital video surveillance system or CCTV security system. Visit Video-Surveillance-Guide.com today for information that ca

Wireless Security Camera Systems

By Steve Strong

In this era of modern lifestyle where a society is represented by small nuclear families, the home security has become a big issue. Be the elderly couples or the children with both parents working, nobody is absolutely safe. Even a vacant home is vulnerable to theft and burglary.

Thus it has become the priority in everyone’s wish list to secure one’s home, belongings, and lives of dear ones from all possible security threats by any cost. However, the modern technological innovations such as the home security systems can come to our rescue in reducing such threats.

Instulling a home security system in your home not only ensures safety to your life and property but also provides you with some other advantages too. A secure house can fetch you higher selling price, an easy access to home insurances, and a higher price if letting it on rent.

Today there are various home security systems such as wireless home security system and wired home security system are available to safeguard your home from various crimes, such as kidnapping, murder, and burglary. Among all home security systems the wireless home security systems are easy handling and require no professionalism for their installation.

Wireless Home security systems are simple, portable electronic appliances that can be used for security purposes in anywhere be it home, office, and showrooms. The wireless home security system is made of the following parts:

• The motion detector – it keeps record of every strange movement inside the owner’s home.

• Contacts – placed at the doors and windows, it alerts the owner when someone uses the door and window.

• Speakers – sends loud warning signals.

• Keypad – provides the owner right to open and close the doors.

• Control panel – controls all the parts.

• Central monitoring system – checks all movements

Wireless home security systems are very popular among all home security systems because of the following reasons:

• They are very compact and hence take less space.

• They are easy to install.

• They are more technologically advanced than wired systems.

• They have a wide range of operation as they use radio frequency waves to activate all the built in mechanisms.

• They can be placed anywhere in your house making them unnoticeable by the burglars.

• They require less maintenance.

• They can cover large open areas in your backyard.

• They, if connected to your computer, can alert you with immediate messages in case of accidents such as fires or gas leaks inside your house.

• The Glass break detectors feature of the wireless security systems will tip off you if someone tries to cut or break the glass of any window or ventilator of your house.

The wireless security systems have one more important feature which offers you to choose a third party involvement in the whole security process, of course with a little price. If you choose this option, a third party company would be connected to your wireless security system which will take care of the security of your home when you are far away from your home. This company will immediately inform the concerned authority in case of a break-in.
