(More customer reviews)From the new
Transformers: Energon toyline comes the heroic Ironhide! Featuring
electronic sounds and projectile launching accessories, Ironhide
transforms from a blue SUV to mighty robot and back! In addition to
these features, Ironhide can combine with the Autobot Jetfire (or
other Transformers in the same size class) to form a larger, more
powerful robot: Powerlinx Ironhide! Large, well-articulated, and
bristling with accessories, Ironhide's playability is undeniable. A
great toy, and a definite must-buy for children and collectors
alike!

(More customer reviews)Well, this is
certainly a nice surprise. While I am less than thrilled with some
of the newer Transformers for their "generic sci-fi" vehicle modes,
this one is compensates with several excellent sound effects and
some neat tricks.First of all, and I believe someone else pointed
out, it doesn't look like any single piece of construction
equipment I know.It looks to be a fusion of two-a steam roller and
bull-dozer.I am not overly familiar with such equipment, though, so
forgive me if I erred.
In vehicle mode, the bucket raises and lowers as you push it back
and forth. You can insert the Mini-Con that comes with it (Rollbar)
into the cab.Doing so properly will cause a nice"start-up" engine
noise follwed by a few seconds of "running" noise. This running
noise can also be triggered by pushing the vehicle around (so that
the back roller rotates). So the sound effects more than make-up for
the irregular vehicle design (I alsways preffered my Transformers
to have more "realistic" vehicle mode).Another detail I liked was
the actual rubber tank treads.A small plastic bar keeps them on but
still allow them to turn, which is nice- I broke three sets of
treads on one of my old toys because said treads kept slipping
off. This too helps make the toy feel more "real".Finally (at least
for the vehicle mode) the green color harkens back to the old
"Constructicons" of G1, which is nice for nostalgic purposes.
The robot mode is a mixed blessing, but in the end is good. The way
it transforms gives it a twistable "waist", which is something
lacking in some of its fellows.Another benefit from it's
transformation is hands that can open up.This let's it actually
grab, again a feature not possesd by all of its siblings. It has a
limited elbow joint (due to the treads), and lacks "true" legs: the
bucket splits and flips around in front of the roller to give the
appearance of legs. They also attach to the roller, however, have a
joint so that they may bend. You can then push the robot to make it
look like its stomping around Godzilla-style, a worthwhile
trade-off.In this mode you can fire a missle from it's hip.Not a
stupendous feature, but its there, and it works well.
Educational value is higher than normal.First, they have a new
comic in them (I assume they are chaning them with the new
waves). So it gives some exposure to other languages and of course
encourages reading.Again, there is a simple but good moral lesson
in the little comic book. Finally, since the toy has a construction
them, it seems a little more educational to me (I used to "build"
with the Constructicons I owned when I was young). In fact, that may
be part of this toys strong points: while I have no problem with
the miliary aspect of Transformers, it is nice to see ones that
have more peacible uses.
This toy comes with the Mini-Con Rollbar.Rollbar is an excellent
Mini-con.It is a small jeep and looks the part. It's tranformation
is a bit tricky (some pegs have to line themselves up juuuuust
right), but are worth it in the end.
If you want a fun toy to play with, this is it.Most people say I
act like a three-year-old, so I feel my opinion is valid.
;)Serously, all the things I loved as a childare present, and it's
still a reasonable likeness (at least to its Dreamwave comic-book
counter-part).If you are a Transformer fan of any age it's a great
toy.Basically, unless you hate robots, construction vehicles, or
sound effects, get it!

(More customer reviews)I purchased the
Tuff Stuff Tape Recorder for my 6 yr. old daughter. She LOVES
it.This product is absolutely perfect. Not only is it tough and
durable, but it makes operating it very easy and self-explanatory
for the kids.
Its large buttons are color coded with illustrations on them to
indicate their use.The STOP button is red, the PLAY button is
green. There is even an illustration inside the cassette area to
indicate which way to insert the tape.
The microphone is a big hit with the kids. They can slide a lever to
change their voices to sound like an alien, chipmunk, monster, or
robot. They can even record themselves. The voice-change feature is
best used while the child is wearing headphones.Only the child can
hear the voice-change, which can be a great benefit for tired
parents.
This tape recorder features a port for a 6-volt AC adaptor (not
included) and a port for headphones (also not included). This player
operates on 4 C batteries, which ARE included.
The only different thing about this player is the fact that one
must hold down the forward or rewind button.I believe that this was
intentional and is a way of saving on the batteries and the life of
the cassettes.Either way, it's a very minor thing.
If you're looking for a good first tape player, then this is the
right one. It's inexpensive, backed by the Fisher Price reputation
for quality, and has all the features you could possibly want. I am
totally satisfied with this product and would recommend it to
anyone.

(More customer reviews)This is a fantastic
figure...Pretty much everything about it is great...the color
scheme is fantastic, the details are awesome (as mentioned in an
earlier review, the battle damage is perfect), and it has just
enough special features to make it worth the purchase...
if I could find any beef with the figure, its that some aspects of
the transformation need to be forced to make them work (folding the
arms into the vehicle, for example)...also, the weapons look great,
but when they're combined they're, well, monstrously huge (imagine
trying to carry a sword as long as a basketball hoop, and you'll
know what I'm talking about)...
otherwise, if you must buy one figure out of the first wave of
Transformers Energon, Starscream must be that figure...It has the
look of the original Starscream from G1, but with enough
articulation and special features to make him just that much
better

(More customer reviews)This Decepticon is
just plain GREAT! This figure starts out as the Dark Fleet- three
oceanic combat vehicles. They are pretty cool as such. The
Mini-con, Ramjet, can make gun turrets on one of the vehicles turn,
and Ramjet fits nicely inside a small storage space on the aircraft
carrier. The three Dark Fleet vehicles combine to form one big
ship. This ship looks awesome and is mostly sturdy (some joints are
a little weak but no big problem). Now you can transform the ship
into Tidal Wave, a huge Decepticon. His arms are very poseable, and
he is a very very cool looking robot. The joints that are a little
loose as a ship are wonderfully tight as a robot. His legs don't
bend at the knees and his head doesn't turn, and even though his
hands are poseable, he can't hold the starsaber, requiem blaster,
or skyboom shield. Still, I can't recommend this figure enough. I
think he's my favorite Armada toy so far. Plus, as Dark Fleet, the
three vehicles can be attached to Megatron/Galvatron as armor and
weapons. Two thumbs way, way up for Tidal Wave! His Mini-con Ramjet
is not too bad, but not the best either. I'm pretty neutral on
this; but no fears- Ramjet does not distract from the awesome
nature of Tidal Wave!

(More customer reviews)let me just say
this product is crisp and all of the cards are new and in perfect
condition. ok so there is some repeats. like when i bought it i got
7 of one card. but i also got a few rare holographics. also i got
some pieces of exodia. it's definitely worth it to buy this large
batch of cards. personally i prefer machines and light types but
haven't played with these cards since about 2004. i still like to
collect them so, if you do too then it's worth it to buy them. in
fact i still have my original battle deck. where i live we used a
100 card deck rule and in all my duels was never defeated with it.
also i used my friends deck and beat him while he used mine. so
it's skill. anyway i am going to purchase it again. most
definitely. it comes in a bag inside if a box but like i said it's
all perfect condition still, wich i didn't expect, so yeah gotta
go.

(More customer reviews)This gundam model
is very different, because this is one of the newer gundams, there
are many design changes that allow the gundam to be more poseable,
such as more flexibility in the arms and legs. This gundam is not
marked with a grade, but it seemed to be between HG and MG. The
only bad thing about this gundam is that the shoulder guard is not
locked together, what i mean is that the front and back guards are
very loosely pieced together. Model is very sturdy and joints are
not weak. The Astray models are much more flexible than other kinds
such as Wing, G, or other Seed models. Whole set comes in a very
large box. This is one of the few models that look good without any
paint at all because of the detail, also comes with 2 beam sabers,
rifle, shield, and the large silver katana. Unpainted model looks
EXACTLY like the picture, only without the gold on the sword.

(More customer reviews)Overall, Laevatein
contains way more in its set of pieces than any other Revoltech
figure I've ever seen. Perhaps they realized fewer people
recognized Laevatein than the Arbalest, or maybe one of their
higher-ups is a big Full Metal Panic fan, but the fact is that this
figure is amazingly well-detailed and contains a huge array of
parts to switch out to create the "fully-upgraded" Laevatein.
Overall, if you've read the light novels or are looking forward to
(hopefully) more seasons of FMP, this figure will definitely suit
you.

(More customer reviews)Masterpiece
Starscream is back and looking great in his original 1980's color
scheme. Starcream is priced at $48.00 dollars, which isn't cheap
but is much less expensive than paying hundreds of dollars more for
the Japanese version. I would not consider purchasing this if you
are looking for a toy because Starscream is fragile. This
Starscream was meant more as a display piece for adult fans rather
than a durable toy. While Starscream is fragile he is a amazing
looking figure. Starscream has great paint detail and very nice
articulated hands and joints. This Starscream also has the ability
to switch his facial expression by doing a quick and simple
transformation. Starscream's null-ray cannons do not fire, but they
make Starscream look very menacing. Starsrcream's robot mode is
very nice but my personal favorite is his jet mode. Starscream
looks sharp as the mighty American F-15 Eagle fighter jet. The
realism and detail put into Starscream's jet mode is very
beautiful. Starscream looks more like a highly detailed fighter jet
model than a transformer. Starscream comes with some really nice
built in landing gear if you want to display him parked. Hasbro
also includes a really nice stand to use to display Starscream in
jet mode. You can also use the stand to display Starscream in robot
mode as well. Starscream's stand holds his extra missiles and is
emblazoned with the purple Decepticon logo. If you are a fan of the
original 1980's Decepticons you will like this figure. Please just
don't pay more than retail to buy him.

that I've liked Towline alot. He's a dead solid reminder of the
original G1 Ironhide character. Towline's vehicle mode was a pretty
solid looking van. I could easily say you could hide him amongst
other car toys by his looks. Then comes the transformation. His
upper half becomes Towline himself and the lower becomes a kind of
base. Sure, sure, Towline's a bit chunky, but the look on his face
means business. As for his Powerlinx combos, he can powerlink to
two figures at once basically. Did I mention he can powerlink to
himself? That's quite the cool mode by the way. Anyways, I love
him. I recommend him highly.
