strongiQuestion by imnoturmomma, buti How do I forgive my mentally
ill mother and move onstrongI am 33. My mother and I have had a
difficult relationship for many years. When I was 3 she married a
man who beat my little brother and me. When I was 10 he left her
and she started dating men in prison, one of whome moved in with us
when he was released and ended up sexually abusing me. My mother
sent me to live with my grandmother, as she didnt believe me at
first. When I moved back in with her and the abuse continued, she
believed me, but kept dating him for another 5 years. When I was 17
she got pregnant with twins by her high school sweetheart, who
promptly dropped out of the picture. She was doing well for a
while, got a degree, had a good job. Then she had weight loss
surgery and met a guy online. She moved him in after the first date
and married him a few months later. He turned out to be gay. My
younger brother was sent to live with our dad when he was 12. The
twins are almost 15 now and mom cant handle them at all. She
threatens to give them away, calls the cops on them when they
fight, etc, etc, etc. Now, of all things, she says she has to cut me
out of her life because Im not supportive enough. She has finally
been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and is going
through a new treatment, dpt. Any how, she called me and said that
she needs encouragement from me and I honestly told her that it
hurts to much to get involved in her healing, only to have her fall
again. This is not the first breakthrough she has had. I dont know
why it is bugging me so much that she has cut me off, its probably
good for me, but it is really digging at me. Talking to her is
useless, what should I dostrongBest answerstrongpiAnswer by

Starchy foods should make up about a third of the food we eat. They
are a good source of energy and the main source of a range of
nutrients in our diet. As well as starch, these foods contain
fibre, calcium, iron and B vitamins.

Body frames vary and its difficult for any simple measurement to
work out a persons frame . Its more accurate to recommend a weight
range, rather than a specific weight for a given height. To
calculate your BMI select your correct height and weight and
calculate the figure as below.BMI will vary slightly according to
gender. If youd like to calculate your BMI , follow these three
steps. 1. Work out your height in metres and multiply the figure by
itself. 2. Measure your weight in kilograms 3. Divide the weight by
the height squared . For example, you might be 1.6m 5ft 3in tall
and weigh 65kg 10st 3lb. The calculation would then be1.6 x 1.6
2.56. BMI would be 65 divided by 2.56 25.39.
