I got my capture card for Christmas its a Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus DVC100 capture card and it works great. The only problem is I cant edit my videos because Windows is saying that I dont have and MPEG2 audio decoder codec. The site that was supposed to have it is retired. Ive tried downloading 3 different codecs and they worked fine for Media Player but those wouldnt let me edit my videos because every time I try and drag my video to the time line in Windows Movie Maker, It always comes up with a box saying that the program has encountered a problem you know, the box that gives u an option to send an error report and then it just closes up when i press an option. And I cant play my videos in Media Player without the codec because it can still play the video, but there is no sound. So is there any other reliable downloads that u guys know of that dont contain any adware, spyware, viruses, or anything like that that I can get that codec from I would edit my videos from Pinnacle Studio 12 but it doesnt really have many options to choose from. So if there is anything u guys can tell me, please let me know!Thanks!
