Hello,
I'm pretty new to embedding html5 tours into pages (we currently
link through to a fullscreen html5 page for clients or let them get
on with it themselves), and my first task with this is to get it
working on our own wordpress site.
It is all embedded, everything is where it should be and flash and
html5 both works, as does the gyro function. Strange thing however
is that it won't let me 'touch' to move the tour, or pinch to zoom
in/out, can any gnome take a look for me and see if anything is
obvious?

Thanks, James

Hi Stu,
Works ok on MAC.
iPad, the left and right thumbnail scrollers are not anchored
correctly, when viewed with the iPad vertical the arrows overlap
the thumbnails. Rotate horizontal and all is ok.
If opening the panorama from a link, unselect Mouse Wheel Disable
in Browser found in the Flash Advanced settings tab.
This will allow mouse wheel zoom.

Is supposed to be Flash fall back - the switch works on my iPhone,
but don't have iPad or Mac....If it's not working, why not...?

Hello,
I've got some ideas for improvements for the Pano2VR HTML5
writer:
- Let the state of the viewer be reflected in the class
attribute. For example, when in full screen, add
class="fullscreen", or when auto-rotating add
class="auto-rotate". And of course class="fullscreen auto-rotate"
when doing both. It would make it a lot easier to style the
viewer with CSS, for example to use the fullscreen class to
increase the Z-index of the viewer so that it's on top of all
other panorama's on the page.
- Emit (and document) events when the panorama buttons are
clicked, so that it's easy to add custom behaviour.

Hallo zusammen,

Hello,
This is my first post here, so I'll introduce myself. My name is
Sybren, I've been a Pano2VR user since last monday, I'm a PhD
student at Utrecht University and have over 10 years experience in
the IT industry.
The Pano2VR HTML5 output is really great. I'm using it on my
website (
http://stuvel.eu/blog/165/360-panorama-sint-bavo-church)
and this works well. However, Pano2VR generates HTML that's not
necessarily valid. It contains code like:
-
Code:
-
....
This is fine when there are no other elements with those IDs, but
as soon as you add two or more panoramas to one page this becomes a
problem. It also creates a conflict when those IDs are already used
on the page by something other than Pano2VR. I think that a simple
and effective solution would be to prefix the IDs of the generated
elements with the ID of the outer element. For example, this would
result in:
-
Code:
-
I really hope to see this feature in a future release of
Pano2VR.
Kind regards,
Sybren

Just preparing them as they need a bit of a touch up.
But when done you will see the link in the Object2VR cars examples
page.

Hi,
Pano2VR gives you several naming conventions as shown in the
advanced multi-resoluition tutorial about 45
seconds in.
The second naming convention uses $n in the file name which will
give each tile folder the name of the input image.

Hi,
If you set it to 300, then close and open Pano2VR it should detect
the correct amount of RAM it can use.
Try this, if this does not work then go back to 500. The more RAM
you you let Pano2VR use the faster it will be with larger files
when dealing with multi-resolution.

Hopki
